Love love love him in Dominion and Devotion 2025 an amazingly great and the best mini short chinese drama out there and boi what a gem it is. He is seriously soo f*ck*ng good there. His chemistry with the FL there is oh my gawd scorching chef's kiss hot AF. And I just want to say that his cute mole (near his eyes) and his prominent adams apple *gulps* not to mention his lovely side profile and commanding presence are what made me glued to the screen whenever he came on each episodes. What a dreamy, handsome and attractive good actor he is. Definitely and easily he is becoming one of my fave chinese actors now. Hope he can get big projects after this coz he definitely have great talent.

Ist she took away Eunuch Zhuo arms and heavily wounded him without giving away her involvement in it. 2nd she helped the immediate big problem at hand with the refugees and the people of Ning Dynasty. 3rd she gained , moved and won the heart, their awe and inspiration and full trust both of the Huting (inside palace who is under Eunuch Zhuo's power) Army and the Yiling ( outside palace under Pei Shenzhi's guidance and influence) Army. 4th she finally got her way and fully successfully tricked Eunuch Zhuo and protected her people and subjects at long last. 5th the most important one Pei Shenzhi's fully and complete and unwavering trust now, his unstoppable growing LOVE and devotion for her Majesty is now at its peak he is in love hook,line and sinker even more and awakened in him his voluntarily giving and laying his life entirely in her hands now which is a great feat for her indeed given Pei Shenzhi's high intelligence, distrustful and suspicious manner and nature that not even his adopted father can gain despite Pei's great debt of him owing Eunuch Zhuo his whole life.
It also confirms to Pei Shenzhi that her Majesty still fully trust and believe in him despite him taking a step back and not interfering, trusting and to let her majesty grow and maneuver freely and quietly, that just based on what little slip of info he imparted to her she fully used and made good strategies on it, that they are of one mind and heart as to what is good for the country. She definitely did not disappoint him and he in turn did not disappoint her too, they both trust and understand each other perfectly. Just lovely,I love them.

The Emperor's body died of natural causes (old age) but his soul didn't die restful and peacefully either and Pei Shenzi made sure of that fact, his just revenge of some sort in memory of his supposedly father and mother the fallen Emperor and Empress of Xia.

Nope not a chance that it was a dream, first coz how else did her Majesty knew and confirm then that Pei Shenzhi is not a eunuch ?to do that you need to "cough cough" him first ahaha , she's in her "lovely woman" gear she needs to leave early so that no one will know their many "serets" now, Pei Shenzhi just woke up like that 'coz he embraced and allowed himself to be happy, complacent and unguarded with her Majesty and forgot for a brief moment that they needed to cover their tracks carefully and him breathing a sigh of relief that just like him her majesty thought of that aspect herself too...2nd proof is ep 17 will answer for you.

Oh this is what I am afraid of, as much as I love that they ahem *you know* well the pregnancy of her majesty aspect is what I am worried coz this is not the right time for her to be distracted and be pregnant. But I am hoping with Pei Shenzhi's high intelligence that he sort of hopefully took this into consideration this angle and took precautions of some sort when deciding to eventually sleep with her at last, but then again the problem is that it was not a planned event either ( him sleeping with her) and well his longing, and bursting love and lust for her took him over I guess so back to square one, hope she won't get pregnant not just yet pls.

Wow just wow the best mini short series that I have seen so far there are plot holes but those ones I can forgive easily enough even big dramas have one of their own, the cinematography I am beyond impressed that for a low budget mini drama this was made beautifully and the cuts were nicely done, this mini series by far surpasses to me "SOME" other well known anticipated big budgeted dramas that aired so far this year, love all the characters even the side ones too they act as they should and is believable, from the loving wise aunt cum maid to the main evil eunuch and that brash naive justice seeking upright young minister down to our two love birds ( whose palpable chemistry was to the roof scorching hot btw ) give these two another project please preferably historical again cause besides actor Li Ge Yang being handsome and he suits in historical settings, his good acting including his tiny mesmerizing mole near his eyes ( istg I kid you not I can't stop peeking and looking at it everytime he appears haist) and his handsome expressions (thank you director for those close ups of him ) and demeanor and magnetic presence not to mention his side profile I_m in love with it, he has become one of my fave chinese actors now ( I sort of wonder how did I not discover him until now ) and also I now know and can confirm ( in ep 16 kyaaah so worth it to buy express package ) that he can properly f*cking KISS like daym that was buckling my knees f*cking hot *phew* I mean he really can do it like a man, unlike other many actors who do romance scenes unconvincingly and lacking in the supposedly heart moving throbbing scenes and some are embarrassingly and at times over the top in the kissing department too ( Lol sorry just my opinion here but not including those actors who can do innocent but still heart fluttering kisses but mind you only few can do these though ) , their romantic love scenes were not forced, awkward and cringey not even for a moment they were so natural and beautiful. Now on to the female lead actress ,she is both so handsome and beautiful (especially in this episode 16 she is so beautiful here ) and thank you script writer for not butchering and giving her some over the top quotes and lines especially not writing her character as an awkward, forced, embarrassing, weird and too radical feminist and cringey #metoo and women empowering scenes and lines which I sometimes encounter in almost all drama who wants to insert this type of scenes. Thank God for the actress for giving justice to her character, she gives off innocence, agony, courage, justice, helplessness, kindness, loving, curiosity, very bold, bravery, quick witted intelligence, loveliness when needed ( she was so lovely and he so handsome in ep 16 btw ) and young man emperor convincingly. I love her already. Her interpretation of a young male/female emperor was so believable that I can quite understand why Li Ge Yang's character Pei was very impressed and interested when he knew her as a good albeit powerless but intellectual "young man" emperor but was even more amazed and in great awe when he finally knew the "young man" emperor was actually a "young woman" emperor and why he fell in love and was smitten with her immediately. I love this pairing so much their chemistry was chefs kiss and scorching hot. This two made me hum love songs, gave me "kyaaaah moments " , gifted me dreamy fluttering butterflies in my heart and returned to me my "rose tinted glasses " back on just like the cdramas love like the galaxy and three lives,three worlds, ten miles of peach blossom to name a few has made me feel, haist. I can actually imagine had this mini drama been a big budgeted project of what would the amazing amped up cinematography be, their extra gorgeous costumes and how will the much more refined and perfected scripts, scenes, story and lines would be unfolded ( although the pacing, lines and story is impressive now but I know it can be improved and elucidated and interpreted greatly) and how the depths of each characters be it villains and the important and side character ones will be moulded and shaped and be presented not to mention the evil schemings, betrayals , secret past story, new tricks and strategies to take down the evil ones and of course their many many many romantic love scenes, hmmmm. Anyway very lovely mini short drama especially the two lovebirds love them. Hope the next 17 to 24 episodes does not dwindle in their captivitang plot style and it ends beautifully and satisfactory. Worth the vip and vip express package definitely.
