I know Nueng is trying to protect Palm but damn he hits a little too hard with his words at times.
Right? For a minute I was thinking about TharnType LOL

right? A lot of dramas are avoiding the curse of the 11th episode. They are trying to throw us off!

First of all...PLEASE TAKE THE CHRISTMEAS SONGS AWAY FROM THAILAND!!! The First Noel is a Christmas song & if the lyrics were read one would understand that it has literally NO BUSINESS being a part of this BL scene or any other BL scene it has ever been used in...PLEASE STOP USING IT LMAO

Now that that is out of the way, I actually thought the whole scene on the rock was the best acting from the 2 ML's. They sold every emotion to me & I bought it.

Well we will agree to disagree LOL.

I don't think he sent any mixed messages. I think calling the cops was MESSAGE SENT GO AWAY.

Calling it abandonment is a stretch & whether we like it or not sometimes an explanation is not going to happen no matter how much someone thinks we are deserving of one. I'm assuming that he also had no idea if his leaving would hurt HWY.

And honestly, at the end of the day if someone leaving someone else is for the your mental well being & self preservation than possibly hurting someone's feelings is a chance to take.

Both of them never bothered at any point to use their vocal cords. One ran & the other didn't pursue.

I think that if I were to take any issue with anyone it would be HWY. He has taken up residence in an area that is not his & without permission. He is disrespectful, rude, & out of line. He may be sweet & cute, & funny but at the end of the day he's invading someone else's personal space. They can swing the comedic spin on it all they want. Every day he was parked on that lawn, in a culture all about being respectful, he was the exact opposite.

We don't fully know the reasons for Woo Jae disappearing & even if it's the obvious unrequited love, in the end it was his decision. It seems, based on the flashbacks, that it is just him with feelings & not HWY.

The man has been camped out on his lawn for how long now & he STILL has not asked him why he left so abruptly. Not a whisper of it. He has said nothing. He's been only interested in getting him to say yes to a movie. For some reason he felt compelled to take him to the spot he spread his moms' ashes...for what? It was out of left field & I'm not clear on his intention. Is this an excuse of some sort for not finding & contacting him earlier?

So is Woo Jae the only wrong doer here? I don't think so. They were in college so while age defines them as an adult, the mentality of one is an illusion. He lied about the sweatshirt...why not tell the truth?

I'm assuming in the end we will find out all of the reasons for the behavior of both parties. I don't see how they can write them together...at least not any time soon. A second season maybe but not in the next 40 minutes.

I agree with you that it's bad, but I don't so much align with your reasons. We've always known Hai Yi was the…
I think HBW's character is too immature for the entire storyline. There are moments that I think he matured & then they're gone. His manipulative behavior is definitely immaturity but I'm also going to assume that he's never been in a relationship...he isn't in one now either. How the show started out, silly, too much inner monologue, funny faces & sound effects, is not what it is now & his character has not changed with the abruptness.

I imagine that the priority for most people, especially ones NOT in a relationship with a time traveler, dealing with a family death takes precedence. However, Hai Yi didn't address HBW admitting that he'd fallen for him. He ignored it, acted like it didn't happen. So HBW is running in full steam ahead into that office with that firing him up as well. Then after HBW leaves the office Hai Yi wants HBW to understand HIM?

In the last scene with both of them, if we didn't have the inner monologue once again from Hai Yi, nothing Hai Yi said out loud could lead HBW to believe or understand that he feels anything towards him. I thought he was cold & acted like he didn't care & from where I come from mind reading is a super power.

None of them do anything for me in the looks department so I can't even count on that to give them brownie points LOL.

Weird show. As their relationship advanced in time they became less and less like lovers and more like friends.…
I don't really like fluff & I kinda struggled with it & the jumping up & down scene was a little bazaar for me LOL.

Ahem, hello my name is ImHereForTheBL & I approve of this show. I know that I am in the minority but I disagree with the amount of hate it's getting LOL.
Could some scenes be sped up by a few seconds? Sure. But the flashbacks are welcome & informative. I think when people have a long history some words aren't necessary because you were both there.
Both of them clearly did not speak up in the past. I fail to see how that is different from majority of people, especially in college, in any culture. And now that so much time has passed, I can't blame Woo Jae for his not wanting to be around HWY. HWY is the one that has been pursuing him not the other way around so I don't know why everyone is so mad at Woo Jae LOL! He didn't seek out HWY & start all of this shit! He was living quite peacefully all by himself in the middle of nowhere perfectly content until HWY uninvitingly inserted himself into his life.
With that said, I like this. Just enough minutes per episode & the story isn't too big for the time allotted.

I think part of my issues are with Hai Yi. I haven't really liked him...at all. I'm hard pressed to find a single redeeming quality about him. While I agree that HBW can be self-absorbed, Hai Yi IS selfish. For someone who wanted to show Daddy that he didn't need his money he failed. He's been living in his Daddy's warehouse, rent free mind you, hasn't lifted a finger to clean it & eating food bought & prepared by HBW. He doesn't have a job, plays video games all day, & lies. He's a child.

HBW has eluded quite a few times to the fact that Hai Yi spends money like water & isn't serious about working or doing anything else. Again, very little redeeming qualities IMO LOL.

Just because you aren't asked the right questions doesn't mean lying by omission is right. He knew he was lying & even stated to HBW in the end there that HBW was still friends with him even knowing nothing about him. I'd be pissed if I found out that someone was purposely keeping something like this from me.

Also, as I said, HBW is not the sharpest tool in the shed. He IS childish...another issue I am having with this show.

Momo points out when Hai Yi is being selfish...I don't think she's been wrong yet in anything. Since I believe that HBW was right in his anger towards Hai Yi, not picking up the phone as soon as he calls is exactly what I would have done. No way in hell I would answer & give him the impression that all I do is wait for him to call me. If that's considered petty I'm fine with that. But waiting to answer also showed that there is a possibility that Hai Yi will follow in his fathers footsteps & make his life all about work.

Now, you mentioning Liang being the villain is why it took me so long to respond LOL. I never considered that possibility for a myriad of reasons but it's totally justifiable & possible. It would be quite interesting. On a more shallow note, something about Anson's teeth bother me.

I don't find the actors in this one all that appealing TBH. I'm in the minority of those that adored History 4. I love the History's because they are older actors with a more mature feel to them...this one not so much LOL.

Total confusion...it was like a whole different show!
I've been willing to let the lie, that we all knew Hai Yi was telling Johnny, go because it was going to have to be addressed at some point. Also, Johnny is cute & adorable & funny & all that but not too much with smarts...but that's ok!
Hai Yi can totally be the silent chairman & Liang can be the front man...I like that idea much better than the writers trying to pit them against each other. Couldn't they have just done this at that pointless "I have pics of you" meeting? Admitting that you are not qualified for the job is the more mature & responsible action to take than worrying about your pride no?
Tony is a douche. Pretty but a douche nonetheless LOL.

Palm's mom: I kind of get her. There are way too many people -- both men and women -- who jump into marriage and…
I think Palm's mother is one of the most refreshing characters in BL. Her telling her side of her life is a truth that is all too common & she admits it willingly & out loud. Having children isn't for every one nor is every one good at it or meant to be. Her saying that SHE was more important at the time than him or his father is her truth & I respect it.
She's not trying to act like she cares & has cared about them. We all have to learn hard truths & sometimes that's including a hard life. Clearly his mom hasn't had this happy go lucky life. She's gambled with her money, her livelihood, & her life. Doesn't seem like she regrets it either. I don't love her but I respect her & I feel bad for her a little bit. I don't not feel bad for Palm but his dad & he have had their own go at life & up until this bullshit have been living it.
I think it's easy to write a character like the mother to be a bad person or someone that doesn't own up to their mistakes & poor decisions but they wrote her as someone that is confident & realistic in that she made the best choice for HER at the time. I think loving someone is sometimes the easiest part of life...the rest not so much LOL.

Well, I hate to say that this episode put me in a mood.

We all knew that Hai Yi was hiding something & that his background was money. Fine whatever. Him not telling HBW we also knew was going to bite him in the ass. Dad dies. OK got it. This is where I lose my patience...

~Hai Yi has been living off his Daddy's money, up until recently I'm guessing, & had clearly stated in the flashback that he's uninterested in his inheritance presently & in the future. So now, Daddy's dead, & he walks into a board meeting, having no clue how to be a chairman of a mall, & instead of telling the old man to go eff himself, because by legal document the position is his anyways, he accepts this absurd challenge that he's not even qualified to compete in?
~Then, if that didn't make any sense, the quiet doormat Liang, claims he's not interested in the position either BUT now that there's a challenge issued he now feels so inclined? And if that's not enough, the shady, jealous loser, that only tried to kill Liang's boyfriend, is quitting & Liang goes "Hell no I need to win this thing & your gonna help me!"

Am I understanding all of this correctly?

At the same time, HBW has the absolute right to be pissed at Hai Yi because hello! And Momo is the totally underrated character slaying it as the voice of reason & support.

Um, IDK. It had some cute moments. It was a little odd that, as boyfriends, they had zero contact for the first half of the finale episode. Neither one helped the other cope with the dramatic loss of his possible career at the company. Them coming together in the end was eh for me, unfortunately.
I was kinda thrown by the fact that, even if a conversation was had, WSH didn't immediately say "hey we need to bring the awesome intern what's her name with us".
Not sure about the storyline for NYS. It just kinda...ended.

So like, the father? Did he not watch Phayu's father in Oh! My Sunshine Night to see how to get shit done incognito? Oh, wait, he probably snoozed through it. Understandable & forgiven BUT Phayu's father could teach him a thing or two about how to work recon & not get framed for murder. At least take the cliff notes dude!!!

Right. If they wanted to push a jealousy thing on Nueng they could have just had another character from the island take interest in him. No need to bring Travel Agent Maggie into it LOL
