I don't find the actors in this one all that appealing TBH. I'm in the minority of those that adored History 4. I love the History's because they are older actors with a more mature feel to them...this one not so much LOL.

Total confusion...it was like a whole different show! I've been willing to let the lie, that we all knew Hai Yi was telling Johnny, go because it was going to have to be addressed at some point. Also, Johnny is cute & adorable & funny & all that but not too much with smarts...but that's ok! Hai Yi can totally be the silent chairman & Liang can be the front man...I like that idea much better than the writers trying to pit them against each other. Couldn't they have just done this at that pointless "I have pics of you" meeting? Admitting that you are not qualified for the job is the more mature & responsible action to take than worrying about your pride no? Tony is a douche. Pretty but a douche nonetheless LOL.
Palm's mom: I kind of get her. There are way too many people -- both men and women -- who jump into marriage and…
I think Palm's mother is one of the most refreshing characters in BL. Her telling her side of her life is a truth that is all too common & she admits it willingly & out loud. Having children isn't for every one nor is every one good at it or meant to be. Her saying that SHE was more important at the time than him or his father is her truth & I respect it. She's not trying to act like she cares & has cared about them. We all have to learn hard truths & sometimes that's including a hard life. Clearly his mom hasn't had this happy go lucky life. She's gambled with her money, her livelihood, & her life. Doesn't seem like she regrets it either. I don't love her but I respect her & I feel bad for her a little bit. I don't not feel bad for Palm but his dad & he have had their own go at life & up until this bullshit have been living it. I think it's easy to write a character like the mother to be a bad person or someone that doesn't own up to their mistakes & poor decisions but they wrote her as someone that is confident & realistic in that she made the best choice for HER at the time. I think loving someone is sometimes the easiest part of life...the rest not so much LOL.
Well, I hate to say that this episode put me in a mood.
We all knew that Hai Yi was hiding something & that his background was money. Fine whatever. Him not telling HBW we also knew was going to bite him in the ass. Dad dies. OK got it. This is where I lose my patience...
~Hai Yi has been living off his Daddy's money, up until recently I'm guessing, & had clearly stated in the flashback that he's uninterested in his inheritance presently & in the future. So now, Daddy's dead, & he walks into a board meeting, having no clue how to be a chairman of a mall, & instead of telling the old man to go eff himself, because by legal document the position is his anyways, he accepts this absurd challenge that he's not even qualified to compete in? ~Then, if that didn't make any sense, the quiet doormat Liang, claims he's not interested in the position either BUT now that there's a challenge issued he now feels so inclined? And if that's not enough, the shady, jealous loser, that only tried to kill Liang's boyfriend, is quitting & Liang goes "Hell no I need to win this thing & your gonna help me!"
Am I understanding all of this correctly?
At the same time, HBW has the absolute right to be pissed at Hai Yi because hello! And Momo is the totally underrated character slaying it as the voice of reason & support.
Um, IDK. It had some cute moments. It was a little odd that, as boyfriends, they had zero contact for the first half of the finale episode. Neither one helped the other cope with the dramatic loss of his possible career at the company. Them coming together in the end was eh for me, unfortunately. I was kinda thrown by the fact that, even if a conversation was had, WSH didn't immediately say "hey we need to bring the awesome intern what's her name with us". Not sure about the storyline for NYS. It just kinda...ended.
I mean, he's the only bodyguard of one of the richest family in Thailand. One motorbike is enough to intrude in…
LMAO so true...it's sad really. But that's why cliff notes were suggested...he clearly has no time to just sit around when he is the only paid employee of the VIP family in Thailand!
So like, the father? Did he not watch Phayu's father in Oh! My Sunshine Night to see how to get shit done incognito? Oh, wait, he probably snoozed through it. Understandable & forgiven BUT Phayu's father could teach him a thing or two about how to work recon & not get framed for murder. At least take the cliff notes dude!!!
I don't trust her AT ALL. Something about her never sat right with me and I still side eye her. I think maybe…
Right. If they wanted to push a jealousy thing on Nueng they could have just had another character from the island take interest in him. No need to bring Travel Agent Maggie into it LOL

Like out of all the places to go...what are the odds she not only shows up on the same island with them but visits the same hostel? If it plays out that it's totally coincidental in the end I'd say that it was a pointless story line LOL.
I'm being honest when I say this...I couldn't give a shit about Inami's story. I don't care about his unrequited love. I don't care about his unrequited love for a monster. I don't care about his unrequited love for a monster that HE supplied people to to be raped & tortured. There is no justification for the screen time this asshole took up & I don't care what is in the manga.
ANYWAY, I love the progression of this couple. Not that it was surprising that we were subjected to a shitty kiss, but really at this point it's as common as the inner monologue & the trip & falling kiss. I love Kaburagi's whole vibe. I like their slow & deliberate dialogue & their body language even though it's all done at a slow pace. It holds my attention.
BL dramas often get downvoted by haters. This went from 7.9 to 7.7 in a couple of days. Not to mention that rating…
Yes I didn't know that you could rate the episodes individually either until a couple of months ago. I don't have the vocabulary or flare to write a review to begin with so I avoid that altogether LOL. I'm good for the shallow, Captain Obvious, sometimes petty review LOL so I stick to the comment section.
Well...I was about to really get on my hygiene high horse when BAM...I think he should be given more reasons throughout the next 4 episodes to be seen partially naked. It should start with episode 5 please. I'll wait.
