Person Park Ji Hoon
There's only one thing I don't understand: if Weak Hero was so successful and Jihoon is one of the most beloved…
Well for main roles, he's only been in like 4 dramas and 2 movies as an adult actor after being an idol. Most of what hes been in has been pretty successful. Even the stuff that wasnt popular was at least rated well. Love song for illusion was the only "flop". So I think you just dont like his stuff and thats ok.

But its also bc of his looks. He has a specific look, so ppl are only casting him for a certain type of role. And those roles arent often the ML. And he is an ML actor. So he has slim pickings. Hopefully his popularity inspires more writers to make more drams with characters more suitable for him to play.

And what do you look like? Are you prettier than her to be judging or are you just chatting....? Like in a country plagued with lookism she's a 20 year veteran leading actress. Say what you want but what she does is working.

That's not that old lol. A lot of women can pass for their late teens/early 20s until they are about 30.

Anybody tell me blind girl is good or bad upto now episodes
Its heavily hinted that she will be a problem later on. For now, she is a chaotic neutral. Her and the ML just started beefing in the end of the most recent episode bc he realizes how scary she is.

I'm loving this so far but there's one illogical plot point that is annoying me like a pebble in my shoe - I honestly…
Its not illogical. The whole reason his family even sent him there is to potentially ease the rivalry between the He and Rong family. If the Rongs treat the heir of the He badly and embarrass their family over something that isnt life or death, they risk offending their biggest rival. As important as the crops are, the Rongs have dozens of other tea plantations. Its better not to constantly be the source of the He family's embarrassment. After all, it was that same embarrassment and inferiority complex that drove the He guy to do what he did. If the heir is like that, what do you think the rest of his family is like? The Rongs are trying to avoid anymore of that animosity.

Maybe its bc some ppl are young, but lets put on our thinking caps before complaining. This drama is set in the 1970s. I will say it again, THE 1970s! Many of yall are critiquing things that are just simply due to the setting.

What do you mean by “No women in this drama”? There are 3…
Many BLs are made with women in mind bc its primarily women who consume BL content.

Also, episode 1 really only shows the main character. Only 3 other reoccurring characters appear in episode 1, each for only 1-2 short scenes. One of them is a woman who is very important to the story. We don't even see the 2ML, the second most important character in the show, until episode 2. The entirety of ep 3 is narrated by a woman who is the focus of that episode aside from the ML and 2ML.

This isnt a traditional kdrama. So the storytelling isnt the same. WHEN a character is introduced doesnt match with HOW IMPORTANT they are to the story or how long they stick around. I think you should watch more without quick judgement. Or, if you know you like stories that center women... a 1970s political/organized crime action drama probably isnt it bc thats not a setting with many women.

The drama is focused on the KCIA agents, politicians and Police/prosecutors in the 70s. You are not going to see many women in this setting. The type of women who would be there, they did made characters for... and that really just consists of women related to men who are more heavily involved than themselves or Gisaengs like Cho Yeo Jung's character.

but doesn't it make you wonder why the sister is so immature and stupid. I mean, she knows how her brother is.…
She's someone whose been living in the slums her whole life with 1 morally grey brother and the other with no morals at all. She's extremely desensitized and used to relying on the brother that has no morals and always gets what he wants done.

What's with all the smoking. It's difficult to take seriously.
It takes place in the 70s. In a country where a lot of ppl still smoke today. Everyone smoked everywhere all the time.

Junseo and Jaeoh are also victims. She manipulated them to do her bidding, then tossed them aside when she didn't…
Its not the same. Being manipulated goes up to a certain point before there's accountability. These two actively harmed people with Ah Jin. Again she pried Jun Seo away from her multiple times. Theses 2 are fully aware of how Ah Jin is. They know she is in the wrong. They still did it. Especially Jun Seo. They aren't being convinced she's the one in the right. This is more akin to someone turning their partner into an accomplice of a serious crime. Like, you can argue the victim of manipulation card once, but repeatedly? Unless the manipulation involves DV or blackmail, it gets to a point where personal accountability comes in.

And yes, I'd believe the very same thing if the genders were swapped.

But was she really manipulating "anyone". She really only targeted people who were after her. The only…
I think thats the point. At least in the drama. Theres multiple times were meant to question if shes even a sociopath. She clearly exhibits some traits, but crying over that grandma? Punishing herself by breaking up with that actor boyfriend? Feeling guilty about her dad? Giving people who mess with her multiple chances.... I mean she did a lot that wasnt characteristic of a sociopath. Now it seems like the webtoon version she may have been a bit truer to that tag, But here I think what people are saying about much of this story being told from the POV of Jun Seo says a lot.

Well, about that speech with her mom.... she meant that lol. She was being authentic there, she said earlier in the drama she wanted her mom to watch over her and see her do well...but she meant it scornfully. I guess allowing everyone to assume she meant it how most people would was manipulative, but it was simultaneously an oddly authentic moment. Plus were talking about manipulations at the levels that got her called evil, not swaying a crowd like every celeb does.

Also, I dont think Jun Seo was ever a reliable ally and thats how Ah Jin saw it too. Especially during that whole thing with her dad. So she's been able to do a lot on her own or just with one other person. But I do think her biggest challenge would be people knowing who she is.... but she staged her death... so I think she found a way around that. As long as she stays away from people who knew her well, who would recognize someone who is supposed to be dead?

She wronged Jun Seo and Jae Oh too. What did those two did to deserve how they ended because of her. She knew…
Jun Seo and Jae Oh were not manipulated to the same extent as those other 2. These 2 had plenty of opportunity to walk away and were her willing coconspirators in many of the bad things Ah Jin did. She forcefully removed Jun Seo from her side multiple times and constantly questioned Jae Oh about his sacrifices for her. They were beyond willing participants in her schemes. And Jun Seo did not love that girl. At least not the Drama version of Jun Seo.

The other 2 were actual victims blindsided by her manipulations.
