Title Wonderful World Spoiler
why did the congressman tell suho? i kinda didn't understand that videooo... did she leave the door open?
Remember where the husband's phone was when the wife called from the airport. Remember the husband's reaction when the wife arrived at the house that day. If the wife did close the door that day and the son can only get out if an adult is there to open it, who could have opened the door?

Lime_pickel have some personal problems with Ji Chang wook l have seen you everytime throw shades on JCW you must…
Sometimes when ppl realize their argument lacks rationality, they start distorting or mischaracterizing the opposing side's statement order to win the argument. This is called a straw man's fallacy. And its what you just did here. You had to mischaracterize what I said to the point of inventing my disagreement with her statement. My favorite role JCW has ever played was in Empress ki. That means I also believe it was his best role. My issue is that her statement goes beyond sharing an opinion. The issue is that it is phrased as an insult and she insults him often.

She can share her opinions. But she chose to share it not through a critical lens, but as hate. With that she should at least be prepared for ppl who check that problematic behavior. Repeatedly insulting someone in multiple threads and disguising it as a "simple opinion" is how ppl excuse cyberbullies. If I believe you are ugly, that is my opinion. That doesn't mean I should write my negative opinion of your looks online in several threads under pages dedicated to you, does it? Especially not phrased as a backhanded compliment.

Here is a free lesson on freedoms and liberties: Have you ever heard the saying "Your right to swing your fist ends where my nose begins"? It is a quote that sums up the concept of when it is reasonable to question the limits of people's freedoms. And it basically says that the only time it is acceptable to do that is when your freedoms infringe upon someone else's, like if you harm them. So that means the concept of free speech DOES NOT include hateful/harmful speech. So please miss me with this "standing up for free speech" stuff. You are simply enabling cyberbullying behaviors.

drug use allegations could tank his long build career.they take so long with their investigations that even if…
Why are you bringing up how long weed scandals have been going on? That has nothing to do with what I said or what anyone here is saying. You are missing the point. The point in bringing up his age/generation is to say that he isnt as familiar with internet culture as someone younger than him. That includes the bad parts of internet culture like cyberbullying. The length of time he spent in this industry does not mean he knows how to handle being harassed online. In fact, it means he might be less capable of it bc for a big chunk of his career, cyberbullying wasn't as common. He didn't have to deal with that form of media when he was rising to fame.

No one thinks he did this over weed. Ppl are saying his getting blacklisted, his reputation being ruined, his family being affected negatively, and the pressure put on him by netizens due to the scandal is what drove him to su*cide. If he had a history of depression and already dealt with su*cidal thoughts, something this harmful to his social and family life could definitely trigger him.

I understand you were shocked by the news and trying to rationalize what happened and that shows your concern for the actor...but what you are saying is coming off as an invalidation of the struggles of the recently departed. Unfortunately, this is not an unbelievable situation. even if it feels that way.

A lot of you are super immature. Once a person is in their mid-late 20's, ppl in their 50s are no longer elders, they are just senior to you. Older peers if you will. Yes Gen Z, we are not babies anymore. Time to grow up. Most ppl 25+ are spending everyday interacting in an environment with ppl around this age as coworkers. Its not weird to fall in love with someone you can view as an equal.

And thats where I want to call many of you out. Bc there IS something weird about this relationship if its romantic and its not age. And I have not seen ONE comment talking about it. So all of you preaching about how strange age gaps are, take a seat. The issue is the student/professor dynamic. That is a power imbalance that remains no matter what age. Y'all are giving ageism, check yourself! Age can be a form of discrimination too. AND many of yall love that drama My Mister... Misogyny here too! Check your biases guys and open your minds!

Yikes. That awful drama with the old grandpa romancing a much younger woman in a headache angst. The only award…
IRL? 13 years isnt that big... Both actors are over 30... aesthetics wise, the actors aren't so far apart in age that it looks like the age gap is concerning.

Was the onscreen age gap even that big? They both were playing characters much younger than they actually are. I doubt the onscreen age gap was even as big as their real age gap. It seemed to me like she played a girl in her late teens/early 20's and he was in his mid-late 20's at the start of the show.

A lil controversial for modern day but grandpa is an exaggeration. And this isnt a modern day drama...

This is a very ignorant statement. I can only hope that it was with great ignorance you typed this or else its simply a VERY cruel thing to say. You don't even know his family, but think you have more concern for them than he did?

Many times ppl in this position believe their absence is better for those around them. Depression is a disease and it is further fueled by external events such as what he experienced. Unless you have experienced it you should not speak so boldly about his choice. There are LAYERS to this. But you made such a simple and shallow statement, thinking your view has depth.

I hope someone has the patience to give you the knowledge you need that you understand how ashamed you should be to make this statement. And I pray you don't respond this way to any other deaths like this in the future. Especially not to anyone close to the departed.

He's not from the internet generation. I dont think he ever saw such a scandal in his career, especially with modern internet culture to amplify it. He also has a wife and 2 kids who he didnt have all his career, probably also being affected. He has always been famous but kinda underrated at the same time, but in the last few years he's been in critically acclaimed stuff, like a second peak in his career, only for it to fall away... OVER WEED.

If he has already battled with depression in the past, this isn't weird.

I am an American lover of Korean cinema, but I'm beginning to think I should stop indirectly supporting this industry…
This. This man helped get Korea global recognition for their cinema. The netizens and the legal system of that country will continue to benefit from his awards after leading him to death's door. Not to say anyone who brings merit to their country deserves immunity to criticism... but at least do it over something worth of critique. Every other drama I watch that same man who plays a villain every kdrama get cut a check for playing himself after committing statutory r*pe, but no one has anything to say. But apparently weed is where the line is drawn?

This reminds me of Yoo Ah In who I’ve been worried about since his “drug allegations” came out. I hope he’s…
We need to do a wellness check for him and other kcelebs who have had similar issues. To lose your life, figuratively and literally, over marijuana truly a tragedy.

This happening over weed is crazy. Like with many things in SK, if they want continued global support in their entertainment industry, they need to get with the times. A man who helped bring an Oscar back to SK and has had over 2 decades in the industry there having his career shatter over WEED?!

As someone who has used both A LOT, Alcohol is easily the MUCH harder drug. Yet Korean culture almost makes joke out of alcoholism. It's made to be light hearted in even rom coms, but weed? Come on now.

Person Lee Sun Kyun
Rest In Peace... He was one of my first favorite Korean actors. After Pasta, he was one of the first k-actors I could identify. I didn't even know about the difficulties he recently faced. I'm really so saddened by this. His aura and voice was so unique. It's really sad that I won't be able to see any more of his work.

Sorry but your comment is quite small minded.

1) Sharing one or two negative statements about an actor is fine. But if you read the other comments, it seems the OG commenter has done this many times. THAT is hating on someone.

2) If you share your opinion in this public space, you must accept others opinions on your opinion. If you believe everyone is entitled to their own opinion, you shouldn't be butting in.

EDIT: I think the saying "everyone is entitled to their own opinions" is stupid. We should remember that opinions aren't immune to criticism. You know who else had opinions? H*tler. Having an opinion is different from sharing your opinion. If you have nothing nice to say, its better not said.

What an awful ending. The male lead, the most boring character in this show, shot dead one of the best actors…
We fighting.

Also...IDK about the returning to his wife part. Thats not what I got from the ending.
