Zhou Lusi looks suits this quirky character that she is playing in this drama. A bit of funny, a bit naughty and a bit carefree makes Shao Shang interesting. Leo Wu's Buyi looks menacing.. And both have issues with one of their parents, both dysfunctional.. There's only 27 episodes and if well told could be really good with no drag. Have seen many disappointing endings over the last few months, hope this one will have a well told ending.

Holy cow! Not only the script is so bad, but the direction is also just as bad! Where did the writer and director graduate from?? 7.4? More like 5.0 ...

But Jinyan is a complete idiot, right from the word go.. probably dropped on her head at birth...

This drama series caught me by complete surprise!! Didn't realise Korean Drama can be this bad, and I am only at ep 3 and its 50 eps too long! The scriptwriter should be shot! The FL is as stupid as stupid gets! The FL and ML acting is pretty good... but shame about the badly scripted Jane Eyre and The Sound of Music-inspired storyline.... and another point why do they make the female lead behave like a teenager? In the drama wasn't she supposed to be 24 not 16 or 14? Oh well... may be Korean girls are retard that way....

Good looking and talented, another rare gem in Chinese Dramaland... What is even more amazing is his sword-playing skill. He should appear in more Wuxia dramas. Too bad The League of Nobelmen has been canned indefinitely... hope they will find a way out of the dilemma soon.

I am surprise that this Classic drama was made as recent as 2019! I thought it was 10 years ago according to the appalling scripts and direction.. Talking about the license to kill, the writer has managed to turn a great classic into trash, is a miracle in itself! Bravo

You laugh at the script! I got annoyed instead.. maybe I should try your way so to reduce my stress and anger for the incessant stupidity of the script.. ahahaha

Love the ML and FL.. but the storyline is just childish and stupid,,.. There are 24 episodes does that mean there are at least 50nstupid acts and misunderstandings in the drama??

Yep.. like Autumn Ballad.. Happy Ending and the worst ending ever!!! I just want a good Happy Ending... The world is a very tense and ugly place at the moment, and I can do with some good happy endings... I am no tragic queen.. If I want tragedy, all I need to do is read the news..

I hope so!! There has been a string of either bad endings or terrible endings!! I just want a good and well-scripted happy ending..

That's exactly how I feel... I shall stop watching the drama now and wait till the last episode is released to see the ending ... If it's shitty .

That old man eyeing her is the Emperor.. So we are looking at a sad shitty ending here....
