Lmao that Indian Dim tak dum tak was so random and caught me off gaurd lol, and that jumping of Seon Jae Gyu to…
Which minute in ep 1 was Dim tak dum tak? I missed it.

Indians have it for tabla musicians... Like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3RVSfhBab-o It is less known

It is a famous song for bellydancers ... I wanna dum tek by drummer Arthem Uzunov.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mMQTy7LU-TE or this one where he sings it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SGHAkuYX1WU
you can google videos with various bellydancers dancing to either song, both songs are famous, and the drummer is famous Here is a great classical tradition Egyptian dancer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hgipi_R_CoQ and it is used for aerobics and zumba classes and warmup :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aaCnfnwj_Z0 and this seems to be a class of Tribal dancers from San Francisco / Berkeley Suhalia school.. In any case, whoever they are, they rock it, they are dancing it rather classical but energetic adn the front dancer is super skilled https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8zySu9h03y0

I love this thank you so much for mentioning it!!!! I am a dancer and drummer myself and did this number so many times

We all said that with the first twoEpisodes of dynamite kiss 😁😁😁😁
Dynamite Kiss had FL who was soo.... doozey... so insecure, willingly a loser, so .... mentally off.... so it could have not gone a good way

This FL has issues but she is also spunky and smart and active. She already ditched the black. This looks promising :)

Omg what happened to Pretty Crazy ML... ??? Such smart sophisticated guy turned into a redneck who kinda imitates My Sweet Mobster ... ? Oh .... what a disappointment... I like the smart version of this actor a lot more :)
And omg what happened with the lovely dance-around-happy ML from Spirit Fingers? He too turned into a rednecksh quiet boy... Oh what a waste!!!!!
Ok no worries, this is not going to be my drama :) Unless it grows on me LOL

I liked FL in Divorce Insurance and Ithink she is even better here. I did not like her in Twelve LOL Oh the hair extensions of the Ogwi LOL I cannot forget those mimes LOL

As I was saying in a post , I stopped watching "Moon river" after the body swap because it was ...awkward.
FYI i did not like Moon River much except for ML/FL acting and by the end, 2ML and some 2FL acting. The plot was ... well... and the whole drama was ... well...

Yes he was, bc the real FL was not doing enough to make it stand out. ML acted in exaggeration to make sure the audience gets it, esp since it was filmed in a way that ACTING was the only clue we had that they switched. I thought he had fun with it, did not seem stressed out to me. It was annoying that he overplayed her but on the other hand it was hilarious bc he mimicked ALL female tropey acting lol and it was "dissected" and presented so well, I really got it, what makes female tropey acting so lol

wow this is heavy!!! it is a very serious, real life drama
The acting and the plot are amazing! I am very pleasantly surprised!!!! this is better than most dramas showing now. In fact... I would say this is THE best one showing now

So... only ppl with nerves of steel can survive that idoling 24/7 gig... But it is addictive at first, all that attention ... This dude doesnt seem hung up on being adored, though... He seems just a professional doing his job and trying to literally survive it all.

The fascinating thing to me is his face... When he is nasty, anxious, etc versus clear.... His "pretty flower face" looks 100% ugly when it shows a bad emotion. When he gets focused and clear, that is when he starts to shine, bc of his eyes. Like when he silenced FL in ep 1. Are his eyes plastic surgery though, that big... ? Regardless, what makes his eyes shine is the FOCUS in the eyes, they are like lasers

So it is fascinating to watch him. First of alll he is so scrawny, and it is all his face. He is like a traumatized cat... To see something "pretty" be really mean and nasty and also hurt and really suffering, overwhelmed, TRAUMATIZED.... Then to see this "pretty" really be pretty when it has the right conditions... I feel like I am watching a beautiful cat or dog or horse or a bird or something like that, that I can just look at and admire for its beauty. Now seriously, this drama helped me to see the real person behind the pretty face. Bc he is smart and sensitive and a real person. This is a serious change for me.

I dont think there is "that" kind of humor. Impersonating someone can be done in so many ways and can be anywhere on the spectrum from very rude crude ridicule, cheap, sleazy all the way to super masterful acting fun.

In this case, they precisely copied extra subtle nuances in behavior and body language, and showed extreme mastery in observing people and then embodying that. It is quite a skill!!!! And it was fun. It gave us a chance to notice things we did not see before, like ML's stiff neck bobbing going forward and his pushing ppl out of the front seat LOL and FL's wide open eyes in anxiety. ML overdid it LOL and totally nailed the tropey female acting LOL After seeing them, I am a lot more aware what makes "male acting" vs "female acting"

Aaah I thought it was the ML from My Sweet Mobster... Again.. I thought it was him in Pretty Crazy....... I keep mixing him up with Ahn ... from Pretty Crazy, Yumi's Cells, Doberman, etc. OK, Ahn is great too. I am seated!

I never saw ML from My Sweet Mobster again but he was so hilarious. Seems like h does more movies than dramas... And he doesnt do too much... how is he making a living then... ?

When you’re desperate for freedom, sometimes you don’t care/think about the consequences. He was a part of…
Ok I understand but HOW can he expose his inlaws when he did not keep any evidence... ? He cannot just show up and testify without any evidence. To really win, he has to have evidence AND do tricks like Again my Life and Lawless Lawyer. His oponents rule the judicial system, police, etc, have $$$$ and gangsters working for them. If he just turns himself in, that is stupid. Calling the reporters to give an interview and say he did it for them? Maaaybe that could work but I doubt it. Those gangsters own the media

The episode was okay, and the chemistry was good. I really feel bad for Eun Jo , You can tell she feels trapped,…
Zillions of women lived like that for many thousands of years... Women as essentially slaves and domestic animals started waaay back .... and is still going on. These days at least a woman could marry who she wants, but she still makes 70 cents on the dollar of male wage, has difficulty getting into any power position, and will likely pretend to be pretty and dumb and not study math, computers, etc just so that she could have a social life.... Most men hate smart women :)

Yes I agree, the real clean slate would include real fixes, not just turning around.
But I think he somewhat tried that by having his law firm.
I agree with you that "He wanted to walk away with moral superiority, ignoring the damage he'd done for YEARS." He was weak. But to condemn him as that, I would wait to see what kind of clients he would serve. If he served small powerless people, then I would say that he redeemed himself.

How do you think he would pay for his past actions? The only way imo is to have his own law firm and represent small people and have them win.

Did you think he should expose his ex-partners? I dont think he was capable of that. He has no proof. He never kept evidence.

It has black comedy for sure, and ML is a master of it.... Why do you call this entire drama stupid... ? .....…
How can you know what you are getting into, unless you watch it... ? First episode or two gives you the feel and then you decide if you are staying or leaving. Kdramas tend to have super twists and U turns, and mix various genres just like the real life is a mix of everything, so you can never predict what exactly you are getting into, you just have to enjoy watching is along.

Sometimes I read a post and wonder... The usefulness and horror of free online reviews is that ANYONE can write them, so we get to see a very wide range of opinions and approaches... anything from rednecks to hippies... Some ppl (in a significant minority) are saying this drama is weird black humor, some (in majority) are saying it is great drama and acting.

The global audience includes lots of western audience.... which is used to majorly senseless dramas and movies, where the plot is just violence and s.x..... so ppl lost the ability to follow the plot and dialogue and watch the nuances. Esp since over 60% use mind-altering substances like pot, opioid painkillers and even more use sleeping pills and antidepressants. so their brain is turned off to begin with. They do not read, they are not educated on history and culture, .... It ended up pretty much looking like movie Idiocracy from 2006.
If kdramas try to appease such audience, the art is lost, real fast. Chinese short verticals are doing a good job pleasing such audience.... and destroying chances for creative artsy, meaningful, more complex projects with great acting. I really wish that kdramas continue being the leaders in the entertainment industry, because they are most sophisticated and able to address heavy grime subjects in a warm, light, humorous way that is realistically heavy yet also realistically and positively resolved, hopeful and uplifting. That is master storytelling.

is this.. tagged wrongly? is this supposed to be some ultra-hyper satire?? no tag indicates that this is some…
It has black comedy for sure, and ML is a master of it....

Why do you call this entire drama stupid... ? ..... perhaps your sense of humor is not refined enough bc definitely this is not an ultra-hyper satire by any means...

The drama addresses some common real-life situations... It is a mix of thriller, melodrama and some comedic moments

I found myself mostly in suspense, cussing, or crying rather than laughing in this drama... Some scenes made me smile... nothing made me laugh but yes there is that comedic sense still, the drama is light enough to leave a positive and uplifting impression. It is very masterfully orchestrated with plot, acting and music. The acting is AMAZING. ML is a master of adding comedic feel to it. Like sitting on the sofa next to the evil father-in-law and rolling his eyes around LOL You can tell it is a naive lazy good guy in trouble...

Some moments are sheer makjang, like jumping off the judge's podium and accosting the defendant... but ML is a master of adding such crazy absurd comical situations... So I roll with it... It is not how the whole drama is. It is just a little bit of spice added to the drama.

Imo it is super well done and very interesting

if you want to see some really hillarious crazy behaviors, then watch Kill me Heal Me drama

Pretty wild to me that the LHY didn't think to use his legs at all while he was getting choked out. Even more…
He was way too naive, not understanding that there was a LOT more behind just judicial orders... he didnt understand that this inlaws ran a CRIME RING.
And, he was out of it .... His mother died, his father died, so many ppl died, he caused/helped with it, .... he should have gone on a retreat/vacation to regain composure and grieve his losses first
