This, i don't remember much actually. I read the novel a long time ago. But i'm guessing she can't be alive since she died on Tengwie's back and buried her in the drama. But who knows...

In the novel, i remember it was her. It was also her who chased him first. She really admired him, more so when she found out it was him who saved her back then.
She was the one being bold, that the ML was shocked by it. (also the reader.) Then shockingly, the ML was also bold. 🤣
You would really enjoy their romance.
They were both pretty much obsessed with each other.

Realllyyy??? oh em gee... Then it was a bit safe to hope for what the book's ending to happen in the drama too. At least close to it or something.

We can only hope not. But then, if it truly happens, just think of it as fake death. Because in the novel all the couples were happy. And it was the original ending. 😉

I can't really remember much. But ML is loyal to FL only. I can't remember if there was any harem involved. It was only Shen Zhili, they were pushing her with the ML for she was the minister's daughter. But Shen Zhili liked someone else and was even helping FL to be together with ML.

As long as i can remember. I've read the novel a long time ago. They keep their relationship a secret at first. They stayed together because of deep trust and understanding. Besides, most of the problems were court politics so the officials were busy trying to control him. And FL and ML pretended to be enemies in front of them.
ML was still crown prince in the novel at first before he became emperor and stayed in that position.

yes. maybe just to be more dramatic. they weren't that much violent in the novel. More like everyone was in the battle of wits and schemes rather than being physical.
