What did you think of the casting while reading the novel? Did they pick the right actors you reckon?
Yes. Thank you. Deng Wei and Li Wanda were perfect for the role. Especially Li Wanda/Vanda Margraf. Because when you read the author's description of the FL's face, then you could imagine the same actress for the role. It was like she was actually describing the actress herself, though it was a coincidence. π
EXACTLY!!! It could have been one of the best and a more distinct drama than the rest. They wasted such potential…
Yep. As i also said, they made everything much more dramatic in the drama... There isn't that much bloodshed in the novel. Ain't that violent. And everything makes sense in the story progression, even the princess arc.
I recommend reading the novel it's based on. It's so much better. Obviously, there's quite a lot that can't be…
So glad you did. Thank you. The novel is really enjoyable through the end. Their romance is much more emphasized and unique. Yes. It's truly sad that we aren't able to see it in the adaptation. It didn't have the essence of the novel. And it's an adaptation. Novel readers, of course, expect to see it in the drama. But no. They totally changed. They should have just put, "Inspired by the novel."
And i still kept thinking that this could only be Tinghui and Yingua's story in multiverse. π€£ Please do this again in another universe but closer to the novel. Very much closer. Even just 80%. And i could bet that the drama would be a total banger then. π
yep. As i have commented here before, they'd made everything more dramatic. π They should have included their romance too, but they didn't. Why of all things they decided to forego that department... Honestly, in the novel, it was somehow all balanced, and there wasn't that much violence at all. It was just schemes and battle of wits, but nothing too physical. Well, except for ML and FL when they can't restrain themselves when alone. π€£ It was such an enjoyable read from start to end. Nothing felt out of place, even the last arc of her being a royal descendant. The ending it too satisfying. The title fits the story perfectly.

Just waiting to see the leads' chemistry.

Since i had read it a long time ago. Can't remember all details of their cases.
