Darn. I was loving this series, but two unenjoyable episodes in a row have made me give up. This is going to be…
I want to add that I understand your frustration about the same loop of figuring out slow thart you are gay in this bl, but it will not change soon, it is the core of Japanese gay character, all the mangas are like that, and it's bascly one of the reasons it's popular, it's target young audience or like me that like comedy, if it made funny and well I don't care about the plot, if it is just plain stupid withou humor it's another problem, mostly doesn't happned in Jdrama

He saying he likes him couple of times, since episode 3 , but it's muted like to hold on the thought, for example when he came home after the date and thinking about the kiss, and in ep 4 when he is sitting in the table, the issue here is a complex of couple of points, and off course stretching them to make it more exiting and funny, first the sexual identity, it's probably not acceptable to be gay in Japan, second, he was a lonely al his life, your 12 age is compare exactly to his 20 years, developing slower as a lonley person, and in a introvert society, so to accept and understand himself it's harder, The manga is exactly the problem and not the series, there is only one character that carries all of it, and the other one is limited, they improve a lot the manga, I don't know where it will goes, but it could be a dissapointment because where the story goes, infortunattly, there is only 8 episode so they could not develop it more
Is the series different from manga.. and would you mind giving spoiler like what was naoya's reaction when kota…
The series is very similar, there is small details here and there that are different like the silling falling down in the manga, and not water on his face (that is more funny), and more things like that, but overall it's keeping the same, Nayoa accept Kota, and isn't mad or even so sad, his character is very dull in the manga. but in the live action it's dull too, but a bit less, so we see him a little sad about it, but nothing more, he wants him back,
Another spoiler if you like,
There is no motive behind Naoya liking Kota, he just go with the flow.
Well, this week in ep 5 there is no happy pill, depressing episode, I'm sad they didn't change the manga more they did, because the manga isn't so good, and this on top of short episodes, I must say the main problem is Naoya character, he is very dull even in the manga, totally empty, he is nice but what we got from him isn't enough to be able to like him, it could be they put an episode of only him, but still , up until now he is very dull, I didn't mind about it because there was no drama, but after reading the manga, I understand it's the same until the end , it's a shame because Sota is doig a great job with the character, and he is funny, but it's like not having a real partner, Sato is beautiful but what is more ? is there anything he tribute to his character? nothing, pocker face.
Cute but I don't think they have a translation, maybe after a month or half year with the pase of this subtitles,
The fans of this series are probably more older then other fans of bl, so they doesn't put any effort for free, at the time I was for example watching Bad Buddy it was filled with sharing videos and shorts, and pictures of Nanon and the other guy, but here almost a desert, nothing, so you can not count on the fans to translate it, I'm not sure even who translated the episodes before the YT channel , it was fast but still probably they got traffic into their website, it's not for free,
The beginning up until the middle was magical, really impressive, the actors are great and unique, the acting in on point even if it's tough roles, it was a romance, and slowly it became a typical piece of life/education drama, it could have been better if they didn't portrait the teens like they doesn't understand nothing about themselves, it's true it's not easy to understand sexual identity in that age, but it's more then when you are a lone, not with friends around talking about it all day. not to talk about Kenta that have been with girls before, and he already kissed and understand, I understand his confusing, but I think in the middle they started to mess the story just to give more episodes, they could make them a bl couple even in episode 6 already, It was deep and inspiring, and touch my heart , but this shift in episode 5 or 6 when Kenta already talk to the girl about loving Yashiro soul and not his body, it's supposed to be the turning point, and not draging it too much, if he didn't knew what kind of love is it, they could have just kiss and get over it, but they didn't kiss, even in the end, they didn't show the kiss, it was a big dissapointment, because the drama was really special in the start,
I should have not read the manga, the series is way way better, but it is not so predictable, I was sure it's more complicated. I guess it's very short to more complex plot
The translation of the drama is not accurate , I found out after watching 2 different subtitles , in episode 4 at the end Noye saying he clean too much the floor, but at the translation it's "muscles is too much" I don't know
Tae is doing a great job with it as always, he can lead the all series, I really like him, I am not sure it would end with a good ending so overall I'm not sure about how I feel about it, overall now it's a good drama,
The beginning of the series was bad, after it was getting better, and then again in the end it was boring and not making any sense, this series is one of this frustrating series from someone that is confused, it's upseting in a way, it started in one point and suddenly it's in another without any connection between
