I think it may have been because the translation was wrong. I haven’t read the second part of the manga... maybe…
I checked the translation and it's correct. It seems that, as you said, Zen felt that if his partner wasn't sharing what was going on with him, then he didn't really need him. On the other hand, it's a bit strange because Zen doesn't really share much when he's frustrated either.
Both actors did such a wonderful job, and Sato really seemed to undergo a true transformation in his acting abilities. You could really see him getting deeper into the role and the character from episode to episode. He’s so beautiful
There’s something cute about this actress — the way she speaks. I liked the series. It has some cheesy touches, but there’s also something more human about it than standard kitsch.
Everyone is complaining about the sitar bg music. I also think it feels out of place. I love Indian music, but I don’t think it fits here, and it really surprised me because Japanese productions usually love using Japanese music in their series and are careful about that.
But I thought maybe because there has been a very large Pakistani immigration there since COVID, it might have started influencing them...
Lovely episode. But the ending of the episode was sad for me, so I had to read the second volume of the manga. Then I realized there’s a third volume that hasn’t been translated into English... I don’t know how they’re planning to end the series in 2 more episodes. sad
On the other hand, it's a bit strange because Zen doesn't really share much when he's frustrated either.
I don’t want it to end. It’s so depressing that this will be the last episode.
