I read the webtoon and was really surprised. I didn’t expect that. There’s no doubt the series really upgraded this webtoon — it’s on a whole different level.
Usually, I don’t like it when characters in a show fail to recognize someone who looks exactly like someone they know — but in this case, I admit, Enaga Ayumu and Ai look like two completely different people. The actor is probably doing an excellent job.
Today's episode was disappointing. It started off fine but dragged on too much, and the second couple barely got any screen time, which really let me down. There's only 2 episodes left anyway.
It was a cute series. The plot was cliché, and the actor who played the cop was quite bad, which made it feel a bit like a joke. However, the two leads were good, and there was a certain level of tension and excitement. I liked the direction and editing—clearly a lot of thought went into it, and the production quality was high considering the budget. The female lead's role felt repetitive; she always plays the same martyr-like character, which is a pity, possibly even for her. The male lead was handsome and acted well; despite his soft appearance, he portrayed a tough character torn between love and violence convincingly.
The series ended sooner than I expected, but perhaps that was for the best—there was no point in dragging it out.
This show started off weak and didn’t feel like anything special at first (for me), but it’s turned into something I really don’t want to end. I’d even say it surpasses Revenge Love, which had a great start but declined towards the end—while this one, in my opinion, just keeps getting better. I can’t even explain what’s happening here that makes it improve so much, but it completely captivated me.
I like the second couple more, but I still connected with the main couple. The last episode felt like breaking away from the usual cliché where someone lies and the partner needs time to fall in love again. In this case, It’s highly fantastical, even unconvincing— someone who’s clearly unwell and obsessive, and yet the other person accepts him anyway.
And still, I find myself able to accept it, because somehow, his obsession ends up feeling legitimate. Something in the way it's portrayed—in the story, in the characters—just works.
I can’t believe there are only three episodes left…
A cute and entertaining series, fairly mediocre overall. There isn’t much to comment on or critique. What can be said with certainty is that Wang Jyun Hao is very handsome
I really loved the last episode. It was very sad and not easy, but it felt deep, different, and real. It’s a pity that it’s ending so quickly. It’s hard for me to believe there’s only one episode left:(
