Thereβs a speech Lan Jie gives that I keep going back to.βCourage is the emptiest word there is.People spend…
the agency and Hanlu's story is the counterpoint for Qinlang and Chenyang's story and also its background, the theme here is how to fight power imbalance in your world with the weapon you craft to protect what you love. also this background is deemed to have ripecussions on the mains lives. i saw the events of the episode (rooted in reality, smearing campaings are sadly so common in chinese entertainment) as a preparation for the battle Qinlang and Chanyang themselves are going to fight
I must be losing my mind. I got up before dawn for episode 14 and then immediately watched it a second time.Spoilers…
that Lan jie and Jialin jie were partners was pretty clear from the start i think. i found very interesting and actual the media war and how they fought it, must be how it actually happens, i loved that they showed us both attack and defense. i found interesting some of the things Jialin and Qinlang said for the general story, about the meaning of life and about the way to get to your goal. what you think? and what you think Changyang is up to?
i liked this episode, the focus shifted on Han Lu and Hao Yu (i've wronged him, he's a cute cinnamor roll and a great baby sitter, he also cooks. he's not a rat, he's an hamster) and the many shadows of the entertainment world. what i found reallu interesting was the social media war with Jialin jie, fought with slanders and trends, brings to mind so many of the latest weibo fanwars. i have to admit, the couple is growing on me, i don't think they're going to have an happy ending but honestly i hope they get it. they threw some important lines here and there like life is a series of unexpected events you have to solve until the next one (don't ask me to quote verbatim, my memory sucks π) or the way to what you want is not a straight line (and probably you'll need to make a choice sooner or later to get what you really want) the post credit scene is pure honey
What I like about this drama the most is - it know exactly what it is and doesn't pretend to be something more.…
the series doesn't preted to be something it's not, you're right about it. it's so honestly low budget. i kind of miss the lightness of the first episodes tough. Tengo Mo is 33 btw, he probably graduated in his early 20s and quitted around 28?
