you know what the problem is? the gl part is written as an afterthought. so they threw in a couple of tropes and…
even without the unncecessary drama i wouldn't care about them. there's not development, no investment. they're there because they have to be there, maybe because gl is trending? i agree, they shouldn't have bothered adding them.
because he's a teeager with traumas and doesn't know how to cope with his own feelings, also he has trust issues
true. but it's also difficult to fully trust someone when you've been kicked in the face your whole life. also he has feelings for him and doesn't really know what to do with them so withdrows as a reaction. it's more like a cry for attention then a real fight
So far 10/10 but One small issue I had was with the second couple. Unless I missed something, they both seem to…
you know after 4 episodes i'm starting to think that they're bascially going through what Qinglang and the rat went through when they were young promising actors, so the director is drawing a parallel between them and the main couple.
It's definitely a bl. There's a lot of adaptations that are still in the loop. Sure similar theme but still quite…
first of all you're not dense. the difference is that now they're shooting in other countries and the productions are also officially not chinese. so the gouvernment can't stop them from airing. thet did however, banned everyone involved from working in the chinese entertainment.

that was the problem, following the stellar success of the Untamed and Word of Honor, danmei adaptations cought the eye of the gouvernment. it looks like that if something can fly off radar gouvernment can choose to ignore it untill it becomes viral, then they have to mingle/censor/regulate

it's true the old shelved drama, maybe problematic, have been released maybe with heavy cuts, but bl (any lgbtq+ themed show) is banned by law, so it's impossible for them to air. the actors involved in these project are all stars now, this would make it even more difficult for them to release them in mainland, the actors themselves and their agencies, given the strict regulations, might not be willing to be associated with them. remember these drama were shot following the success of The Untamed, and got bannes following the viral success of Word of Honor-
maybe they don't sell it to international platoforms because of legal issues, they would have done it by now if it was possible.
i'd love to see them, really, but as for now i don't think there's hope. on the other end the adaption are heavily censored, so i also hope the reshoot them so we can finally get the original work
need to feed the ex some poisonous plants. who leaves someone high and dry then comes back years later trying…
because narcisistic as*hole tend to do it. they pop out in your life when you're not expecting them. also he needs money and thought to take advantage of Qinlang
