It's definitely a bl. There's a lot of adaptations that are still in the loop. Sure similar theme but still quite…
if someone buys the rights of the novel it doesn't matter that the old one exists, so there's hope. i think it depends on how popular the current crop of bl can get, so to attract investors with big money.
just watched the first two episodes. i'm enjoying it so far. the cinematography is amazing the music too, the story feels fresh and i love the interactions between the two main leads, i love how unbothered Chan Yang is and how Qing Lang adapt to his slow life without even knowing it, healing from the obsession of his hectic life. i have to admit the first episode had me confused, we get shot in the middle of the action with no explanation, the two half (the drama shooting and the life on the mountain) look completely disjointed, you're not introduced to the characters and their dynamics. the second episode is more cohesive and the story takes shape as the relationship between the leads takes shape. the second couple so far look tropey as their arc

we're never going to see them in this life (Luo Yunxi, Chen Feyu and Zhang Ling He in the mean time have become stars). unless someone buys the rights and make them new. but they'd also need serious money and a big production

hon, there's a whole chinese bl renaissence with new titles announced every day. 3 are currently airing (including this one) two more are going to air in the next few weeks. happy pride month.
Bian Ye gets more lovable every week 🥹 The way he stands up for his doctor😍I love this series so much. And…
little trouble maker is my favourite character, he's so unapologeticly himself, and if someone has a problem with that there's a punch waiting for them
