Thank you for this excellent analysis, which clarified some points I had missed. As for what's to come, yes, it's…
It genuinely felt like I was watching it for the first time. I wish they can just stay in their happy bubble

I've also realized a few things after rewatching.
Bear in mind that I started this series without reading the synopsis. I do that a lot with Thai series and especially gmmtv, and since I already know the actors, and their style, the plot is always apparent.

When I started this, I only thought Qinglang was an actor who falls in love with a tea farmer. That's it.

Later on, I realized the tea farmer was more involved and orchestrated a lot.

Qi Haoyu (second couple top) and Shi Yuhao (villain) are different people😓 their names are pronounced almost the same way.

Then the second couple bear a striking resemblance to Qinglang (ML) and Shi Yuhaos history. In a way that made me think they were showing their flashback. I know, dumb.

But then I learned that the second couple WERE remaking Qing/Yuhao's first movie, then it made sense. And in their real world too, Qi Haoyu is just as fame hungry as the character he plays (Shi Yuhao)

So the writers ARE sneakily showing us what went down between Lang and Yuhao through the second couple's life. But we'll see how it ends for Han Lu and Qi Hao.

On the first watch, I didn't realize/understand why Qinglang was so obsessed with Termite Mushrooms that he made several posts about them.

Later, I found that the pronunciation is the same with Ji Zhongjun. And he was suspecting that Changyang was his weibo banter partner🥀😩

That's why he said he craved the mushroom and was obsessed with it with that serious, meaningful look.
I kept wondering why he was laying it on so thick with mushrooms 🤦

I know, it should've been obvious the first time I watched. But I genuinely didn't catch on and there was no explanation in the sub.

Also noticed that Wenshu seems to protect Qingtian a lot. Without his knowledge.

Also that love confession? The ABSOLUTE TOP on my list.

Qinglang said: I don't think I loved you this much in my past life. Because it wasn't enough. I have to make it up to you in this life.

OH MY GOD! How sweet, smooth, gut-wrenching and deeply poetic.

Their soft, yearning gaze! Their hungry kisses?! The healing hug?!

Lastly, Changyang's analogy about spending all night trying to rescue a large red dying carp was beautiful. I laughed when Lang looked down at his red shirt with an annoyed/cute expression.

I'm off to watch ep 6 now. I'm not quite ready to let go of these sweet moments. But it's a Cbl so bring on the angst you bitter souls😩😩

Another undercover jewel is here. Man, I wish they'd get Revenged love or Untamed popularity. Yeah I know that's delulu, but whatever. This show is gold. I just melted when I learned what Changyang did for Lang when he was stressed and they'd not even met at the time.
Eternal Yearner Spotted!
GO WATCH THE SHOW. I kept thinking, if Thai shows ever attain this effortless level, it's over for everyone.
Because tell me why I kept forgetting that they were actually acting. And that Changyang was not some outsider taking care of an artist.
It's Litchi Island again but better. Cinematic, beautiful shots, smooth thought evoking dialogue, don't even get me started on that subtitle editor.
She's the biggest Shi Yuhao hater and I love her little comments sometimes. But girl, can you translate what the text says also?

All in all, I give it a 10. I already love the characters and I just want to see more.

Don't forget to watch the after credit scenes too!

i'm kinda mad at that long hair guy.. he was literally pestering and almost forced short hair guy to come out…
It's really not black and white. He's still under trauma from Shi Hao, and this Changyang faltering after he clearly seemed to like him, was maddening. So he overreacted. And he knew he overreacted.
Qingtian also told Yang that Lang would definitely be triggered by his hesitation and after he understood too and came clean and admitted that he'd triggered him.
Also, Yang wanted to confess. He just didn't know how to show him that he loved Lang and that it wasn't only because he was gay or liked "men"
That's why he later replied "Is your name men?" When asked again.

It wasn't about forcing Yang to come out. I think they already knew they liked each other at that point. It was Lang liking someone else who seemed not too sure about him again. Thats what drove him crazy.

It's normal, under the circumstances.

You might've wanted him to act better, be patient, but they'd be neglecting his character behavior if they did that.

Wait, what do you mean, break up?

Haha. Well think about it a little more. Sun couldn't even act. He hated being that soft. And he was in a position where he'd never rise to an actor in the biggest company. So it's not wild that Bank doesn't know it's him. Also, Bank is more interested in ruining the manager. So his major concern isn't the actor's face. Plus he's exactly arrogant enough not to care about a rookie actor.

Somewhere in the multiverse, Duang just discovered JaiJai.
It is the worst day of his life.
He has made it his personal mission to either end JaiJai or force his blind eyes open to see the gold beside him. Either way, Qin has to spend plenty of time calming him, which Duang enjoys. Duang plans to sulk forever and be babied by Qin.

This show isn't getting much hype and that's sad. When it has great pacing, beautiful story, well-developed characters, cinematic, and lots more.
I don't know if people are scared that it will be toxic. It's not. It's beautiful.

Let me explain. If a show is extremely hyped and loved by thousands of people, even those who don't usually enjoy that genre will pick interest. And it gets dicey because they know they don't like cute tops or silly characters, but they'll force themselves to sit through it, simply because of the people who like that sort of thing. Now their criticism is deeply biased (negatively) because no matter how good the show is, they'll say it's overrated and cringe. That's why if I see a show that's not my thing, I stop.

And yes, I get that dmd likes to write cutesy characters. But they've gone past cutesy for nothing. Khemjira, next prince, and dwy all show this. Dwy is probably the first show I've seen where the top is obsessed in a cute way but is also extremely conscious of when to give up. That's one thing that's special about Duang.

Duang seems like an overstimulated extrovert rather than a child. And yeah you don't care for him in the beginning but the writers redeem themselves by showing that he's a perceptive character and quite mature where it counts. And no one needs an "extra" loving person like Qin. So it fit well that the person he falls for is the kind that isn't afraid to show him love very very very very loudly.

Then you're introduced to Duang's family and you realize there's a reason why he's like that.

Yes because it's what you salivated about before you hit post. Bet you were vibrating from all the negative bashing attention you were about to get. Congratulations. But next time, choose self-respect.
