I really wish we let shows end before commenting on them.....can't wrap my head around the negativity it's reaciving already,it's like an artist still drawing and people gathering, instead of waiting for the end result they're calling the painting ugly already.....why tho.for the sake of those waiting for the show to go from "ongoing" to "completed please no more mood killers.
wow I'm sorry to say but like u said u went into this series for one reason and since that reason didn't meet to ur satisfaction u basically tore it down by not giving it credit we're it was due....people need to understand when a series is tagged life it means every thing is not overly dramatic......u get a taste of real people's ambitions and reaction or how spirits can be lifted just by little act of kindness and how everyday living is portrayed in a way u don't lose interest but u understand life in a sense......im not a fan of Wang ji won but just by ur descriptions I'm rooting for her in her ventures in life just pls try to keep an open mind....the hard work of the cast is overlooked if you don't.....pls don't be mad, I'm just stating my opinion 💜

But without a little spice the show becomes dull and unappealing, if less is done its dull, if a lot is done its overbearing but a hint of reality here and there is what makes it shine,reply 1998 did it and aced it.
Pardon my ranting, firstly men no people like kdw exists, naive, loving,caring and versatile to a fault and watching this show with my friends and family,pointing out who's most likely to pull a kdw is now a thing amongst us Secondly I'm not in Korea but where I'm from 14/15 years old are musically drawn and rebellious abt it,its now up to the parent to chose how to handle this situation

KDW truly did carry the show,my first of his work and it won't be my last, needless to say the cast did do their job in creating a community of everyday kind of people except The sons character did make me lose interest in his story mostly due to how he played the part and made it a bit dull in personality. As for YDJ he played an uptight,stuck up and a bit arrogant IT genius who had to get kicked in the "groin" by his own "friends" and lose everything in one sitting to realize life is more of struggle and fighting ur way up is the best way to become stronger The middle schooler parts were a tad bit overused "young love" OK, and id advise you listen to some Korean hip hop and let me know if they don't mix,this kid does not do it justice i tell u

I respectfully disagree. sometimes you just like to see how human every one is. The romance made him more understandable showing that even is corrupt and ambitious ways ruined that for him too
The fact that this drama paved way for my interest in k drama is something i will never forget,I started with nine tail fox and curiosity drove me to look for more and with my little knowledge for park seojun back then I fell hard and started to navigate my way through his drama now I'm a hard-core k fan, point being itwaewon class being as is, definitely tried something different it failed in case of repetition of scenes,not highlighting the romance enough and less realism in terms of the bad guys but still it delivered and with park as ML it makes it a much rewarding watch. I'm commenting now cause back then I always look out for comments like this(I still do)while searching for a new drama, if this helps 😂 at all. oh keep in mind u will go through a boat load of emotions anger especially but regret is the last thing u get from watching it plus the ost till date is still my go to jam in bus rides or car drives😁

I'm sure there's more to it than we can understand...many people get excused due to health issues and other stuff,I can see how it may look like privilege but seriously the topic of how military service affects even the life's of individuals should be a subject matter. it can't be easy a sacrifice and I can't imagine the effect it has on them,putting their life on hold and all I'm not saying this to defend him but maybe a little benefit of understanding is all korean men need , exempted or not,famous or not
finally got around to watching this and I must say,the hate for this drama is understandable and the frustration makes the idea of buying a new TV after breaking the first seems durable lol, but I tend to go into series unbiased and aware of the intent and ignorant towards the comments,rich man who doest understand a world without money,poor female who's struggling to met the world's expectations and has to apologise for almost everything followed by other characters with interesting story concepts. it made my blood boil a few time but that's literally what dramas are intended to do(you had a long day,lash out at me,dive into my fantasy)but see from reality births fantasies and am sure there's a concept of the ML people who don't understand how the mediums live and of the FL the apologetically struggling but keep in mind growth happens to everyone no one suddenly becomes the best version of themselves just by trying and it shows, they all grew,became aware of their flaws and impacted each other ignoring the world around them and finding genuine happiness.the story nostalgic has it was did its best and came off beautiful in itS own way not lacking clichés but still telling its own version of a complex world.
watch it, get angry,laugh,cry if your the type to and enjoy without over thinking, see it through and feel like you watched a show with a lot of effort,talent and a story to tell.😁💜

ahhh i see but when i think of it keenly i didn't see it that way hence my curiosity. in state of most relationship the one thing that counts has a variable is the compatibility which they both had. if you watch from her POV you'll have your self questioning what would you do in her shoes?. Her personality was as free as could be, loved easily due to lack of from no one other than her mother, lived lonely and ostracized by society still she sunk into a questionable marriage with genuine affection but the not knowing every aspect of her husband brought about this initiated arguments. he too was as simple as could be not reading to much into life made him lackluster and seeing the future made him vain and naïve to other people feelings. the question in his own state being what would you do if you knew what would happen tomorrow and how would you approach life knowing you cant do anything about it? . although it had its perks but the burden made him more lonely hence argument that were being prompted by his action . no side was perfect they both each had to learn to love and appreciate one and other making them understand their marriage in terms of self centeredness each had their own thereof. also lets keep in mind that the privilege to see the full picture is something only us viewers have they live in a world of ''i had no idea, why didn't you tell me to make me understand'' and '' i was only trying to protect you by taking on the burden alone''. the script was unique in its own. no two other, i know i said way too much, I'm sorry but I'm a Movie enthusiast and conversations like this make me happy. hopefully you understand. i also acknowledge your opinions

im not one to make people sway from there decision but ''overuse of flashbacks'' name a k drama that doesn't dwell in the use of flash backs during story telling its a bit but it does define certain facial expressions as to '' what went through his mind to bring about his next move'' and how that thought is brought to life strictly by. on that note giving it a try is worth it. if ever u do. let me know the out come but if not its all good
so I'm backing of this show before reaching the end mainly because writers tend to have this sadistic urge to make viewers(me) feel pain for no absolute reason, I'm not on team woongi or babi anymore thanks to them im not on team yumi either, hopful no season 3 cause sincerely i cant go through the chest pain of watching her fall in love with yet another guy after watching my investment in the first guy plummet to the ground.
