Jesus. Ongsa is divine. Seriously. He’s a mix of War, Keng, and Fourth for me somehow. I’m entranced- enthralled even. Seriously. The man is good looking. Sounds cringe to say, but his parents must see him and hi five each other. They must have saved their country in a past life because damn. And when Au smiles…holy shit I almost lost it. The chemistry has me yelling “kiss him” over and over. I’m a lunatic for sure. Unrepentant. Aside from the what the actual🤬 with some of the choices for the story others mentioned, I have to say these two do need to work on their longer-than-lip-touching kisses because those looked like two straight guys trying to earn money (E6 nc scene). I understand why it was brief and blurred with wide angle shots. But I’ll forgive them because aside from that, the chemistry is still very potent.
I just started E6 so I’m sure I’ll agree with more and more of you as I continue. I just had to pause after the first bit of E6 to come rant about that “nc” scene.
Exactly 😭 Normally I can fill in the blanks even when a plot’s hanging by a thread, but this one? I’m lost…
Right?! Maybe Mr. Magical Aura is only activated if they do the deed. who knows? The plot has so many holes it’s like trying to scoop water with a sieve.
What am I watching? There really seems to be only the loosest definition of a “plot” here. You know that moment when you’re driving and you suddenly “return to reality,” realizing you’ve driven to a certain point but don’t really remember the details of how you got there? Thats how I’m feeling, but someone else is in the drivers seat. Or maybe not. Maybe I’m a backseat passenger in a driverless vehicle driving down a dark road in the middle of a desert with one streetlight every few miles and I’m looking out of limousine tinted windows. (Been there, done that- everything but the driverless part- it was a crazy ride.) This show gives that vibe, if you understand my meaning.
What gets me is that someone read the script and paid money to produce it. And someone edited this and another person/people gave it the green light to air. Like, no one said anything at ANY point? My flabber is gasted frfr.
I feel like I’ve been waiting FOREVER for this to air. I’m strongly debating whether to watch it now or wait until it finishes because 20 minutes a week for 6 weeks will drive me crazy, like School Trip currently is.
Damn it. I wish I had waited to binge this series. Waiting a whole week is gonna kill me! And especially after watching the preview for E5! I’m glad we will be seeing more of them though. 10 episodes is a gift…one I wish I’d waited to open until it was over. 😭

I read the manga. Gotta say, I’m loving the live action. Seriously can’t wait until the next two episodes. The manga was super cute too. But the casting team really won with Enaga/AE because damn he’s mesmerizing.😍
Gotta say I’m on Team Best Friend. I’m not at all rooting for the cafe guy. He’s creepy. Gives major stalker vibes. I hope he’s one of the “pests” the shaman person mentioned.
Every time I watch a remake or whatever of this series, I hope for a better produced product. And every time, I’m disappointed. Why do I do this to myself?
Those girls are annoying. But I’m LOVING this series. Like, completely. 🥰The way the guys protect and look out for Hioki, defending him against the clingy and mean girls… Watarai’s “he’s mine” sign can’t be any clearer.
Worth the wait to watch E11 and 12 today. I would have been hella stressed waiting for 12 if I hadn’t.
This first series with KengNamping was worth the wait. I loved every episode. They did an amazing job, as expected. Chemistry was chemistrying all the way. And TleFirstone held their own with ease and confidence. I loved that they made each episode long enough to give time for everything that needed to be shown and then the best bow tied with all the potential viewer questions by Charn and answered by the Monk was 🤌🏽.
One of my pet peeves is when tattoos that are supposed to be old look brand new. The ink shouldn’t be black and shiny. It always makes me roll my eyes. But Peem’s tattoos were done right. I’m hella appreciative of DMD paying attention to even this small detail. The whole production was top quality. I loved it all. 🥰
And I’m especially happy with the mid-credit scene. Super sweet. Icing on my cake. 🎂 An overly 🌶️🔥 cake. Poor Master 🥵🤭🤫😋
