Hello,... So if there is anyone out there, like me, that thinks this series is nice and the acting is undoubtedly…
I’m with you. I like the anime waaaaaay better. I don’t understand the hype at all. I skipped through most of each episode after E3 or 4 (can’t remember), I was that unmoved. I also don’t really feel as much chemistry between the actors as others swear by. I tried. I really did, so don’t come after me fans of this couple. I honestly stopped caring what happens beteeen them and to them, which is my sign to drop a series. I haven’t because I have a stubborn desire to finish series. But I’m also unwilling to pay the $1 to see the fastrack episode. I even finished Sangmin Dinneaw (not comparing that one to Top Form- just an example of my tenacity).
I think I’m one of the few here where this drama doesn’t hook me at all. I don’t understand the appeal tbh. I ended up skipping through most of each episode after 4 or 5. From the actors to the script, I felt “meh”. I tried though. But it’s on the same level as My Golden Blood (which I dropped after E6) for me. Even IG edits couldn’t bring me back. Glad y’all loved it though 🥰To each their own.
From the coming attractions we already know that the King has an inkling that something romantic is brewing between…
I don’t think the no children thing is a problem because they explained that the succession rotates between the families, so another family’s offspring would be the next heir- from what I understood from E1. Though I’m not sure how the king’s grandson is next. I was confused by this after E1 tbh. Maybe something was lost in the translation from Thai to English…
Kim Han Yeong is the only good thing about this show. His visuals are top tier. Still, this is pretty unwatchable. Like, nope. Put him in a different drama with a good scriptwriter and production team, then pair him with someone cutesy anc you’ll have a worthwhile show. This is not it.
I loved JCW’s character here. The mumbling replies when he felt shy, embarrassed, or not confident always made me smile. He remains one of my fave actors for a reason. I hesitated watching this because it was supposed to be sad, but finally caved after an IG reel (it’s always IG edits that get you, right). I enjoyed it, even when it got a little boring. after episode 15, I wondered how they were gonna wrap it all up in one episode. They did well. Without the dad, though, they could have ended it in 8-10 episodes, I think, and still have had a good series just focusing on the stories and his healing. I guess they needed a villain though.
I wish they do some kind of warning or special effect to indicate a flashback. The editing and randomness of them are awkward. It’s like everyone is new, not just the actors.
The manhandling from our “top” ML along with the sloppy ❤️🔺… I did skip a lot of it, but hoping it picks up next episode.
I laughed and cried…a lot. E10 killed my tissue box. I bawled like a baby. Big, fat, ugly tears. I know everything was resolved but it feels like there should be a season 2, you know? I need more. What happens with the gambling den chick! And the prosecutor? And does Uncle Sang Gu get to ever move into the other bedroom? What’s up with the cop friend? And what about NaMu? So many questions.
My heart can't handle the cuteness between ShaneKit and KimMon 😍🥰🥰. Kit asking Shane for a reward after…
I really think it’s KitShane, but either way… This couple is growing on me but I still have serious second couple syndrome. Each week is a slice of cuteness overload followed by WTF hotness called My Stubborn. Everyone needs balance. 😊
The cuteness in this drama is way more digestible and natural than the manufactured cuteness in Sweet Tooth Good Dentist. I don’t know how to explain it but I like the cuteness even more than Your Sky. The only couple I skip past is Nat and Tan because it seems more forced than anything. The cringe is high for me with those two.
Can I say serious faced Mon is damn attractive for some reason?! Like smiling Mon is super cute and attractive but serious mode? 🔥 Kim stood no chance from D1. I wonder what kind of wrench Mon’s mom will try to throw into their relationship…or maybe she’ll be a secret supporter. And ain’t no way Tar and Per are strangers…or even friends. Bros are in denial.
I think this is the episode that will be the deciding factor for anyone who has been hesitant about this show…
I totally agree with you. I bet the conversation Sorn has with June when she calls him into her office after the staircase scene really throws some ice on his tantrums. I mean, he visits Jun not too long after, so I’m sure he’s there to profusely apologize while still not acknowledging why he behaved this way to Jun. I’m sore there’s some make up kisses, too…and more. Or Jun will have grown some balls and put Sorn in his place, refusing his explanations, accusing him of going too far, and deciding to hell with this physical relationship he has with him- kicking Sorn out and then going binge drinking with his friends to forget and cut loose, only to meet Franz or another guy. Either way, I’m hooked on this series.
like everyone else i am really looking forward to jun dumping sorn and making him jealous. i want sorn on his…
If there are 12 episodes and if the company follows the usual formula, we should see mutual confessions in episode 10, to include happiness and some emotional fueled NC scenes, followed by episode 11- the explosion of that happiness because of some dumb decisions or misunderstandings, and then the ultimate happy ending for all couples in E12. oh- 9 should be a little rocky and maybe extra raunchy, too.
