Everyone complaining about the 2023 in year of release needs to calm down. This is how MDL works. Each drama is assigned a tentative year of release when it's in the process/still uncertain/just been greenlit. With how uncertain the cdrama industry is, dramas often get shelved for literal YEARS before they are released. Since there's none the wiser a tentative year is issued that is changed with the passing of each year.

What I'm saying is, just calm down. The dates aren't set in stone. And if we're going based off off cdrama track record, there's no possibility of this coming out anytime in this year. So 2023 isn't really a stretch regardless.

The FL would roughly be 80 something if she didn't stop aging the day she turns into a vampire. She meets the ML and saves his life when he is a child and they meet next when he is an adult, with neither really knowing properly who the other is until later.

The FL also becomes human (that is kind of her entire hero's journey here, returning to her human form without harming innocent lives because that is said to be the only way possible to return to who you were) at a point in the drama, and thus her ageing starts from where we left off so they're both the same age when they finally get married and thus ends my case for why the whole age gap thingy is not creepy here.

I'm sorry I'm just really into this lakorn. It is truly one of the best ones I have seen.

Also wanted to add here regarding Poot Pitsawat for anyone who is curious, there is no abuse in the drama, of any kind. Unless you count the supernatural beings going at each others' throats of course.

The ML does not turn into an asshole at any point in the story, he is the sweetest thing in the world.

The blurb for the drama on MDL is (allegedly) directly taken from the numerous previous iterations of this drama. The version I watched and wrote a review for (also the one listed in the article above) has none of those elements stated in the blurb. So, if you're someone who avoids slap/kiss lakorns, is averse to any depictions of/ romanticization of abuse, then you have nothing to worry about, this lakorn is safe to watch.
