also why did they force feed us that weird "you like him" scene with jae woong and jamie if the romance was gonna…
The writer had a plan that might have been cliche but would have had a lot of emotional impact: make one of Jae Woong's two personas have a strong emotional attachment to Jamie. (This wasn't necessarily romance but the audience saw it as such because why not lol, they're both attractive people.) That way, with what just happened towards the end of episode 12, Jamie could be the "I Will Bring You Back to the Light" person for Jae Woong. Now unless the writer is indeed planning for this in the next episode, or if they have completely dropped this idea like every decent character arc that they ruined so far, you'll have to wait a week to see but honestly I'm not even going to be disappointed if the last 4 episodes become a shitshow because things are already heading that way.
It's probably just me, but I can't stand Jung Woo going all ex machina when every other character (with the exception of Jae Woong) has been reduced to the status of wet paper dolls.
Not too much romance thank goodness just some longing stares (which I would always fast-forward) As for Gong Hye…
It's interesting that you said you were ignoring the problems with the writing because the problems you've pointed out are exactly what's wrong with the writing.
The writer doesn't know what to do with the children who had special abilities. They can't decide whether they want to showcase their abilities of keep them concealed and we're 12 episodes in lol. Corruption aside, it says a lot about character dynamics when a "team" has to be divided in order for actual work to be done. Only when Hye Won went solo was she able to do something, and Jamie actually being able to make the team work undercover made it seem like there was no place for Hye Won (or that she even wanted to be back) and same can be said vice versa as well. The two females never got together to work on something and it's almost like the writer is building up this bitter rivalry (which we all know there isn't any, at least from Jamie's end, and later even Hye Son's end because she was just initially jealous.)
This forcing characters apart is reflective of weak characterization and everyone has been reduced to one dimensional versions of themselves, or if we're talking about the rest of the two agents in the team, then they are just tools, without purpose, until a more prominent character gives them purpose. It's annoying, frustrating, and an insult to the audience's intelligence.
Episode 12 was the first episode in a few weeks that felt like it actually belonged to the drama. It was fast, had urgency and shit actually went down. That being said, almost everyone has been reduced to a tool in one form or another and it's frustrating to watch. With 4 episodes left, I hope they dedicate enough time to everything and not just end everything next week so we have nothing but filler to watch in the final week. They've stretched certain things too far and haven't explored certain things at all lol.
Bravo bravo bravo! This is has to be one of the nicest web dramas I ever watched. Likeable characters, real problems, beautiful dresses, and of course, Lee Soo Hyuk!
My only gripe, I NEED MORE!!! Someone please fund a full 16 episodes of this because it truly deserves this, more so than a lot of other dramas we're seeing on network television lately.
The optimist in me really hopes it's someone we haven't met yet because I don't think any of our main characters…
Sameee. I would hate it if Rin and Tan don't talk it out soon and they drag the misunderstanding they're trying to make. I really hope it only lasts the next episode and things go back to normal soon because the lion is a bigger problem, and Rin's company losses are the biggest problem of them all! xD
I'm on episode 4 and I have a couple of questions. First, how much romance does it have? And, will Gong Hye Won…
Not too much romance thank goodness just some longing stares (which I would always fast-forward) As for Gong Hye Won, I will say this, she did get less annoying.

However, in my humble opinion, the writer has royally screwed up most if not all characters, and I personally find it difficult to tolerate, let alone like Hye Won, the police chief, his second in command, and ugh even Jamie (who was my favourite T-T) Are well-rounded and well-written female characters too much to ask for? :(
The optimist in me really hopes it's someone we haven't met yet because I don't think any of our main characters thus far have it in them to harm someone like this, and it would probably be too obvious.
The pessimist in me thinks it's actually one of the people we see right now, it could be the other fashion designer who seems to always appear at bad times for Rin, or it could be Primrose the actress who (it appears) is slowly coming to reveal her (as of yet unclear) intentions regarding Tan.
The crazy action-suspense-thriller lover within me thinks it's Rung, who's faking her coma and is out for revenge against the one who plagiarized her work. It would also make sense for her to know all the little details about Tan's past. Maybe I should stop watching too many mystery dramas. xD
Lee Su Ji is brilliant in this web-series even though she is young and has relatively little acting experience. Hats off keeping up with the man himself, Lee Soo Hyuk!
Watch Knowing Bros episode 260. Ji Chang Wook is literally playing himself in this drama! No wonder I felt there was more to it than just him acting lol. Good for him I guess? Also a little sad xD

I feel you Hye Won. My faith in this drama has crumbled and being one of its watchers is no longer something I'm proud of.
As for Gong Hye Won, I will say this, she did get less annoying.
