Wow, such much resentment - all completely unjustified!A few years, I read about half of the novel; it's not that…
I don't like Avengers, but marvel did well in creating a cinematic universe, but after Endgame it's not that great, the film has a reduced story quality from the novel/webtoon but still it's not bad as a film, have seen worse. Live action of Bleach & Fullmetal Alchemist were a joke. I liked the Korean version of Illang: The Wolf Brigade because the anime ending was very depressing. Most don't like Jackie Chan version of City Hunter, but I liked it, but the anime is infinite times better plus the French version of City Hunter did justice to the manga/anime, new City hunter live action came close.
oh wow i enjoyed it but there is one thing im confused on -- when they were fighting the levelled up dragon king,…
He meant the novel he read in it core was its weakness, even with the upgrade the weakness remains, when situation changed they have to adapt, I don't think in the novel he read it was mentioned he would be a player as well, once he became player he uses his knowledge, so like he mentioned he is sort of a prophet in that world as he knows everything that is going to happen, when changes happen he adapts plus it's a story of course he will have his own plot armor to save him in every situation.
Webtoon was better, but if watch the film with an open mind it's not bad, first time viewers might enjoy it more i.e. those who have not read novel or the webtoon. At least this is better than Attack of the titans live action, it will be hard to make live action based on this story, The Shining film is different from the novel even the writer hates it, but it's well received, sometimes a film can be made and done well even if it's different from the source material, person doing that must be very good at such thing plus the cast should work their magic as well.
Go for Fangs of Fortune, watch this only if interested in the genre, this has nothing new to offer, very similar…
Legend of Fu Yao, Legend of Fei, General and I, The Legend of Zhuohua, Kill My Sins, The Story of Ming Lan. Chinese costume dramas featuring intelligent, resourceful female leads (FL) who run businesses, navigate trade, or manage family finances while maneuvering in historical settings. Blossoms in Adversity, A Dream of Splendor, Brocade Odyssey, The Sword and the Brocade, The Story of Pearl Girl, Flourished Peony, My Heroic Husband (2021), Nothing Gold Can Stay (2017), The Lady in Butcher's House (2022), Jiu Liu Overlord (2020).
Should I watch this first or go with Fangs of Fortune? 😖
Go for Fangs of Fortune, watch this only if interested in the genre, this has nothing new to offer, very similar to c dramas of similar storylines. I found The Legend of Zhuohua infinite times better than Glory, both shows are Female Centric but had no issue finishing The Legend of Zhuohua.
Just skipping through scenes now since watched around 20 episodes, shouldn't have picked this one, did it only for the leads but was disappointing after story progressed. Not saying it's bad could have been better.
May i have suggestion guys? Between this and unclouded soul which one is better and i should watch first? I love…
Unclouded soul is good, better than most xianxia that torture viewers with frustrating elements, but don't expect earth-shattering fights or a drama like love between fairy and devil, this drama has elements that can be found in similar scenarios, also depend on the viewer people have different tastes.
The drama is good, it doesn't test viewer patience, story revolves around the leads, hard to find frustrating elements, one of better xianxia genre drama with more positive elements plus leads only have eyes for each other.
Show was great till episode 8, episode 10 was waste of time. Nothing makes sense now, everything depends on the writer to magically tie all loose ends and end the story on a high note.
In the span of two days he indirectly caused a young woman’s suicide and his mother’s death. I think he wasn’t…
He himself caused both incidents he was not forced to, his father-in-law instructed him to give a half win to defendant, he had inhaler of his mother he knows she can have an attack is he stupid. It was his choice in both incidents no one forced him but agree with the fact he was not in his right mind after the incidents but felt weird anyway, but don't think he was stupid to think there were no repercussion.
I'm sure the scholar guy will end up with the 5th sister, which to be honest I don't like , I like non of her…
Forgiveness is good, but most of the case in such dramas it's forced & not believable, as for 4th sister she just has issue with her sister, maybe she was manipulated by others as well, as for 6th it would be nice to see character development, 5th might have reason for her actions, but she deserves some sort of punishment, if what I believe is correct about what she has done so far she definitely deserves punishment & redemption arc shouldn't save her.
I'm sure the scholar guy will end up with the 5th sister, which to be honest I don't like , I like non of her…
Sadly, in dramas like this no matter whatever the family do they get a redemption arc, these sisters don't care about their elder sister, currently they are doing everything to destroy her.
Yes, City hunter JC film depends on the viewer, if they expect a perfect City hunter they won't get it.
Most don't like Jackie Chan version of City Hunter, but I liked it, but the anime is infinite times better plus the French version of City Hunter did justice to the manga/anime, new City hunter live action came close.
