Wow- wonderful BL coming of age drama
This is a coming of age BL web series. I loved it. It had everything from the family drama, friendship issues, romance, discovering who you are and what you like. The relationship between Ye Linzi and his dad awww. The friendly reminder that being rich is not everything but having wonderful people who can warm your heart 💜.I especially loved the relationship between Gu Hai and Ye Linzi.
The contrasting ways they showed affection. Gu Hai was more extrovert in his adnavances but with YeLinze he was subtle and showed how much he loved Gu Hai in his actions. It was sweet to see him be the more vocal and express his feelings. I especially liked the way he was worried when he was waiting for Gauhai in ep 15. He woke up and Gu was not there and braved the cold to wait for him outside so he could catch the first glimpse of him returning. Awww there were so many heart warming moments in this drama.
The character development and acting was really good. This was about two young men who fell in love. Soundtrack was okay. Rewatch - Definitely. It’s short and sweet and does not drag which is very common in Chinese drama’s as they tend to be between 24 and 60 episodes. This was just the right pacing for this story.
Season 2 please come so we can explore the other blooming romance the drama with the parents when they find it etc.

Strange three way relationship with a bear
I have managed to binge watch the series. I am in two minds about it. I liked that it was different took me through different emotions. Touched on a lot of issues within family like sexuality, jealousy, anger and trauma. It was a good effort. I know a lot of people don’t like the ending at least there is mixed reviews about it but i found the ending fitting is some ways and weird and strange in others. The strong feeling being weird. To be frank its almost as though it ended with a three way relationship between Tarn, Nut and Tofu the teddy bear.WHAT I DDINT LIKE-
- Nut and how he was as a son to his mum. His mother was clearly ill but he had no regard and treated her harshly through most of the series. Pretty much ignored her.
-His treatment of Tofu, Tofu was used as physical and emotional punching bag and it did nt change through the whole series . I found this disturbing, its clear he had issues but all he did was lash out.
-The lack of consequences for the guilty parties is ridiculous.
- No real explanation on how on earth Tofu looked like Neung?? I mean come on.
- WHY DID WE HAVE TO HAVE LESBIAN RELATIONSHIP JUST THROWN IN THERE??
Would i rewatch- nope. Is it work investing 16 x1.5hrs of my life somewhat, OST unmemorable

A piece of cinema
This was a such a god show-. I enjoyed it from start to finish. This is not to say that it did not have its issues. i will start with the positives:
_ the cast was amazing- Pond and Pan had great chemistry. There was no time that i was bored when they were on screen together. The supporting cast was also great. I found the villains a bit comical- I could not take the revenge plot seriously-
I have seen Pan and Pond in different shows- I loved that Pond got this role after he was in Fourever you- I felt that show did not really show his acting versatility and abilities. In this show we had a range of emotion from him. His character at times was a bit annoying when he kept referring to the future that he came from knowing that people around him did not have that insight.
TD what a man- he was amazing- i loved how he really embodied that character. He was in oh my sunshine and he stole the show with rain. I am really pleased that he has had this opportunity to show case his acting range.
Overall this show was a good watch- Would i rewatch not the whole thing but maybe certain episodes like 5/6 -8.
The writers changed some of the factors in the book but it was in a positive way for TV, it needed the xtra drama and spice.

Thee comedic festival no phuwin intended!!?
I waited to watch this till it had finished airing as I just could not get into into when it started. Honestly I was enthralled by other shows that has stronger storyline and chemistry.Having watched this I will say this is a comedic gem carried by Pond. He embodies Thee so well. I was not shocked that somehow Phuwin appears to be the same character in all the shows he is in including this one. I don’t see much difference between him in never let me go, we are and this one same character. I think he may need to stretch his acting or he is in danger of being type casted.
That said it does not detract from the overall show itself. Will and Est that was nice side couple story. Santa and Perth storyline was not even necessary. It did nothing for the actual show!
I am not going to go to much details but just to say if you are looking for some lol moments, fluffy romance and questionable plot holes you have come to the right place.
Would I rewatch this probably not, maybe certain episodes.

A mysterious gem !!!
This show had it all, mystery romance and action. The writers did an amazing job of executing this story, kudos to the director and producers too. The whole cast stole the show! I was never bored in all the episodes and it kept me guessing to the very end! There we some questionable things towards the end however they did not take away from the overall beauty that was this show. The ending for our villains was realistic and a reflection of society as we know it.Max and Korn amazing chemistry! I have rewatched this show so many times.

Johan/North for the ?with ?
I am a huge fan of productions from studio Wabi Sabi because they do their best to do justice to the novel and follow it which is amazing however I do think they could work on executing this a bit better. Comparing with another series where there are many couples gmmtv seemed to execute that better with perfect 10 liners, both this show and P10 has the same director however the way that he focused on stories for the couples were different. In P10 he was able to focus on each couple while also giving a good balance to other characters and couples in the show. Nonetheless, I found this show enjoyable to watch. I struggled with Ter and Hill but equally their story was a bit boring novel wise . Thier acting didn’t help either as I found they lacked chemistry and the intensity that I have seen them portray in other roles Pond for example in that 180 longitude drama or Earth in UWMA.They were outshined by Bas and Maxky who did a great job with Johan and North. Suer, Nao and Thit also added the spice and humour to this series.
The music was meh 🫤 for me but take that with a pinch of salt as I am not really into Thai music and prefer C music more.
rewatch value- I would not watch the show again. I would watch a compilation of Johan/North scenes as I found a lot of the scenes with Ter cringe 😬
I look forward to seeing Maxky in more roles as this was my first one of his.

multiverses left me in in an unknow world
I couldn’t finish it despite my best efforts. this was a good plot just poorly executed is some parts and poor character development.cliche roles for Boss and Nouel. they are literally playing the same characters as they did in LITA. it’s clear that as actors they have developed however MAMEs stories often leave a lot to be desired. she really romantics toxicity and behaviour in normal society that would be scary and unacceptable. it’s a theme with her she did this with type and tharn, don’t say no etc.
I try to watch each project for it’s on merits but mame makes it hard lol. 😜 Anyway I recommend watching and making your own judgement.

Terribly good-
Okay so i am guilty of being hooked by this show. I really liked the first few episodes however things got ridiculous in the last few episodes.I was impressed by James’ acting- he has really good. Micro expressions.
The story has been done before but they didn’t do it better.
Non of the characters appeared to actually be in love. It seemed very disingenuous for me. People seemed to just fall in and out of love easily. Kim declaring his love and then all of a sudden seeming okay with it all. Long Fei declaring his love only after overhearing a phone conversation. Does it make it okay that he was blackmailing his BF for years. Elys declaring his love at the end of the episode.
Everything was wrapped up in a neat little bow that doesn’t make sense.
I wish studio Wabi Sabi had picked this up as they tend to follow the books more.
Despite all that i enjoyed the show it was terrible, I mean it was bad that it became good lol. It wasn’t boring and it kept me engaged.

Painful to watch
Despite my low expectations, I was unprepared for the utter awfulness of Gen Y 2. This offensively dull sequel feels excruciating from start to finish. This was just awlful, I have no words to describe how tedious this was to watch. This series stretches a flimsy plot into eleven longwinded hours of tedious content. Finishing all the episodes has been a painful test of endurance, one that I overcame with rolled eyes, clenched fists, and gritted teeth. I’m proud of myself for not quitting midway, although I came close to falling asleep on occasions.
Watch at your own peril

The chemistry is just wow ???
I love it 🥰. This I what good actors, chemistry and editing can give you. There were a lot of things that I felt were not exactly right with this show however all those things were not deal breakers for me due to the way the good acting and chemistry.I WILL BREAK DOWN WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE
-I still till now don’t know why Tharn liked Type.
-Types Trauma was not really dealt with and it felt a bit jarring from him disclosing he was sexually abused to him asking for anal sex as we are not clear on the time line outside of the fact they had been living together for a semester.
-the fact that we did not get any justice regarding Tar. sexual violence is very real and it helps to really explore and also get some closure around this. I don’t think that this should have been fluffed out but actually explore both sides for the victim and the perpetrator.
-Thorn relationship with san, I don’t get how he could have been okay with his friend sleeping with his brother at such a young age.
WHAT I LIKED
- Type and Tharns chemistry was off the charts
-The steamy sex scenes were refreshing they gave enough to let my imagination run riot.
-The friendships that Type had were endearing… he was a loveable grumpy person
-Type’s eyes are so expressive i loved this as they showed all the emotion, his body language was great too.
-Tharn’s Family and Types as were quite realistic on showing both sides of what you can get when coming out.
-TYPES character development.
Good OST
DESPITE the issues i loved this drama and have rewatched it mainly because Tharn and Types relationship was shot so beautifully. Type’s character development can be seen in how he is in the relationship but I was so happy that he remained the sarcastic, blunt and rude type who is really a softy. I WOULD RECOMMEND

Lost of eye candy !!
This show was great loved the majority of it. Great screen, wonderfully cinematography, great actors and acting. It blew me away the first half of the show, however as the show wore on, there were plot holes, there was repetitive and filler episodes. It’s hard to Carry 59 episodes all through however they did make a great attempt. The tragedy that was their love story had a happy ending. I felt like some of the romances were not fully explored, some characters were under developed. Nonetheless it was great and its a must watch. I can’t lie I skipped some episodes in the middle and forwarded some towards the end due to the poor writing but overall it was worth the watch. Chen Yi is so handsome and he portrayed his characters really well.
What I didnt like, the finale battle was stupid and did not leave the satisfaction i was hoping for. The Heavenly Emperor seemed useless and let King Bailing do what ever he wanted for years with his knowledge.
The lesson was a good one though that ultimately demons are what are inside use and the choices we make will lead to either positive or negative effect so we need to mindful and respectful of others.

Best crime drama
This was a good drama. It was fresh different and engaging. I loved the focus on crime solving, the cast were great and kept you engaged. the story did not deviate or have some long draggy scenes everything was tightly connected and had purpose. I loved the bad guys as much as the good guys. .Great friendships and bromance with no ridiculous triangles smart characters who were developed meticulously. It was beautifully done. This is one of those gems that made 36 episodes look easy to watch. What didn’t like was the rushed ending i thought they could have tied up the other characters romance and stories a bit more. the lack of chemistry between the main leads although i liked them i didn’t buy the romance part of it , the fact there was no real kiss in 36 episodes i hardly think an almost kiss and mouth to mouth is a kiss. all in all it was a great watch, would I rewatch probably not.

Wow- Just a ridiculous
So I started watching this drama thinking well another slice of life drama with some life lessons boy was I disappointed.Story- The story had potential but was poorly progressed. I don’t understand why there were so many fights that were resolved quickly. The issue for me is the fact that these were very serious relationship shattering issues that rock the core fundamentals of relationships things like trust, family etc where seemingly resolved by a quick conversation and everything is okay the next day.
There was no chemistry at all from qiyue and jiaming I don’t know who cast these two. The relationship triangle between the three main leads was never really explored. It was clear who fell in love with who at the beginning but some 30 episodes in its not ever fully explored or resolved. I loved the relationship between Asheng and jiyue. I thought they had chemistry again it never really progressed from sibling relationship to actual romance.
I had to skip several episodes of this long drawn out poorly written drama.
I cant fault the acting from some of the characters but it was just not enough to keep me engaged. A lot of reviews spoke about the never ending sadness that Ansheng had to go through but that for me was never the issue because there are people who seem to never catch a break it was just how it was developed.
I would not recommend a rewatch. Terrible in my opinion if you want to waste 53 hrs of your life please watch.

Messy plot line and romance
I wish I could give it a higher rating, but I just can't. It started off promising, but then the story turned into a complete mess of bad story arc choices and pacing, with irrelevant side characters given way too much screen time at the expense of main characters. I could not stomach finishing this drama. I love the actors especially zanilla, I have seen her in other dramas and she never disappoints. The romance was... messy which was my biggest issue and the story just became ridiculous with introduction of characters that had no bearing for the story basically fillers which is probably why the show is 67 episodes. I never felt the romance between Prince of Yan and Xinger. I know he loved her but their romance was just not streamlined and no real evidence of Xinger liking him beyond being comrades. I think this show had great potential if it had been developed well. I lost the plot and just dropped it.

Slice of life drama
I loved this drama. It had a nostalgic and comfortable atmosphere that I enjoyed sitting in with each episode.. They really tried to give all the characters screen time and their stories were told completely which i liked but the down side was that with so few episodes and so many supporting characters and stories to be told i struggled to fully connect with them. I loved that there were different family dynamics portrayed, different family types and their experiences . I also enjoyed seeing how our mains grew as individuals and all possessed some trouble or another that was relatable. There wasn't much focus on relationships but there was just enough focus for me to remain invested in their stories and also relate to what they went through. The overall story concept was actually a good one. I struggled with the time hops, they worked well in story telling but at times I didn’t know where we were in the time line and finally the story of Chompu and Nak- not many shows really showcase disability, their hardships and how society often writes them off or ostracise them (especially poorer countries). All in all a nice emotional roller coaster life dramaWas this review helpful to you?
