It's evident that South-Korean society absolutely loathes women.
The rapists from the Burning Sun Scandal we're set free from jail after only 1 year.
I will continue to think of them as a trash culture, whose ONLY worth is the kdramas/other k-ent it creates & the actors, singer&entertainers they mistreat.
With laws like this, they are NOT a developed civilized country and deserve to be looked down by western culture as lesser.
Burst out crying full on bawling π at the end credits of the last ep, this wasn't just a thriller, but it was incredibly sad too. Not only every ep essentially being a mini biography of a different character whose life was hell. But FL's whole life went from just one tragedy to the next, which triggered me to cryyyyyyyyyyyy.
Per trailer this really looked alot like Welcome to Samdarli.
I hope it learns from that drama's mistake of having both ML & 2ML wait to date FL all their adult lives up until late 30s without dating anyone else! Otherwise that drama was great, but that flaw was really ridiculous, unrealistic and unfair! Also hoping ML character will be less boring here.
Dumped& divorced π₯π₯her cheating husband Check. β Found a new man despite Koreans' stigma towards "divorcees" and an awful dating market at 39. Check. β

No, but they're not super heavy either. People wanting very heavy drama were dissapointed over those two lol. Very lite on the melo element actually if you compare with most melodramas.
The recommendations are making me fear this isnβt the cute romcom ai was hoping for. Of the recommendations,…
Nah I don't think this will be a too heavy melo style, based on what Jung Hae In Said before in an interview "My 1st romantic COMEDY. Not used the the style of acting, leaning on Jung So Min who has done more romcoms".
Trailer vibes more like One Spring Night indeed and Welcome to Samdarli.
But actually while she's not model good looking she's actually quite pretty in a natural way and not full of plastic surgery. Far from ugly. Koreans just prefer fake plastic people. π
right?.... like kdramas have fallen off so hard we used to get amazing shows every month and sometimes even 3-4shows…
I haven't watched Twinklin Watermelon or Penthouse yet.
But BOTH are written by 2 of my fav kdrama screenwriters though, however I'm probably too old for Twinklin Watermelon/Not its target audience and Penthouse I need to be in right mood to watch, knowing just how majkang melo that writer makes her dramas lol π I'll probably watch it during late-autumn winter season that really suits the mood of that drama....

Your're lucky then that lately Netflix took all the best ones

Love Next Door will likely be good too π₯°
Good for her that she found a new man after her unworthy (now ex- )husband cheated on her!
"The two met while the actress was having a hard time and this person comforted and got closer to her."
Sweet π₯°

2nd Pairing has their story here and then continued into their own spinoff drama to be aired right after this one.

May she be successful despite Korea's odd tastes.
They lost inspiration for naming dramas ????
