Very pretty, simple yet deeply touching bl. Good acting, nice coloring, excellent storyline, very balanced in the different themes it discusses. I love the relationship of Azuma with his family members, which is a total opposite to Kuji's. Ilove how they slowly grow closer to each other. I love all the tension and softness that is expressed between them, even in the quiet moments. In the beginning I was scared that lack of communication would weigh on their relationship, but they hold a lot of space for each other and don't push the other. I was glad that they slowly opened up more. This series was my favorite of this year so far.
Yet another easily dropped BL due to the whacko, god-awful Commie China dubbing. It is impossible to maintain immersion…
Chinese drama are dubbed most of the time. It is due to different dialects. You know before you start watching. It was weird for me when I first started watching chinese bl, but I got used to it.
This could have been a good series, it has some interesting themes to it that would make it stand out in comparison to other bl. But the execution was very poorly done. It was watchable on x1,5 speed.
So many aspects made it hard to take seriously. Like the physical therapist treatment, him wearing dressy clothes to work with a tennis star, them working in the batik shop with white and light blue dressed up clothes like they wouldn't get stains on their hands and clothes etc..., the artist scratching away at some ceramic or putting new clay on a finished statue π€£ It was kind of offensive to watch lol.
Also Li ouen looked more severy ill than hus brother in the hospital. He could have expressed having panic disorder a bit more clearly. Now he just looked like he pooped his (white) pants at all times.
I liked the dynamics between the characters. That's it...
It wasn't bad. It way quite light and funny. There are more jbl in this kinda manga style. It's just the nc scenes where comical instead of steamy lol. I liked the story and the actors. For 10x13min episodes they managed to include a lot. It was a good watch to balance the more heavy and emotional bl imo.
I'm torn between a rock and a hard place. I don't know whether I should drop this or keep going as I really love…
Yes... I was watching x2 soeed last episode and this one I don't even feel like watching. Also loving their chemistry, but hate the pacing and feels like nothing is happening. I don't mind slow paced or scenic, but this feels like a lot of nothing π Even the sound feels weird, like they forgot to put music or something.
Not really that impressed with the story. Too dreamy ending lol. Makes you think who is the a-hole in the Jack-Dean relationship. I found the actors just too old to portray their characters as well. Story and quality did not compare to the other only friends season.
Really loved this one in the first half, then had a hard time finishing the last few episodes. I liked the side couple more than the main couple. Their story became just too slow and kinda repetitive. Also didn't really appreciate the Yu Lei character, so full of himself and oblivious to the people around him. Always looking like he was in great pain or surprised Pikachu face π Anyway, kinda cute story, kinda frustrating to watch. The "gorilla" was the only character I found was pleasant to watch and had a lot of character development.
Saturday - Flower Boy & Love You TeacherSunday - One YearMonday - Life in Smokey Blue & Unexpectedly Naughty…
Same, I couldn't make myself to watch it after ep 1. Supposedly it gets better, but yeah... was too unrealistic for me having worked in healthcare wirh people with memory loss ππ
I also feel it's a really underrated show. I loved the acting of both the ML. I agree the timeline got confusing at times, but it also adds to the mystery of what happened to Ha Neul and which role Sae Byeok played in his life. I think the storyline did a good job in keeping it interesting, I kept changing my mind of what was going on.
I loved the combi of good chemistry and intimacy, a bit of mystery, SB being a public figure, a not too classic love story of sacrifice and trying to find each other again, ... I think it had a lot of themes combined and did a good job ay being balanced and not too dramatic, but still holding a lot of emotion.
I loved the tone that is more known for korean bl, paired with good kisses. People always complaining about kbl not having good kissing, and now it has critique for having too much smh.
For me this will be one of my 2026 favorites and probably will rewatch.
They could have used different color balance or different look for the actors for each timeline. It's confusing…
Maybe that's kind of the point because for the ML everything is a blur. But I get what you mean. I was confused at times as well, but it also set the confusing tone that the ML is going through
