Nothing wrong with someone losing or gaining weight for a character. And is it ok for actors but not actresses?……
You do realise the NIH is an American institute? And their findings do not apply everywhere? A culture's relationship with food and stress plays a role in this and I'm sure we can agree it's not universal.
Still loving this drama. Characters are still consistent, including the jerk. My heart goes to Me-ri cos I remember how difficult it is to walk your way back from doing stupid shit that you did in desperation. Especially in a culture that pretty much forbids second chances for women. I aspire to be half as calm as Woo-ju. The way he handled the breakup and the ex? That's another level of maturity.
There was nothing about the set-up for the doctor and Sang-hyeon that screamed romance from the start. She was way too in love with Woo-ju and he was way too uninterested in her. There was barely a flicker from his end. It'll be a surprise to me if they're thrust together as a "second" couple. Bae Na-ra is still a beautiful man though and I want to see him as ML in a romcom soon.
And I don't like seeing murderers in romcoms but I'm glad they didn't go the suspense/thriller route. We know who the bad guy is and are just waiting for him to get caught.
Given her current situation, what exactly would "interested" look like from her end? She's technically…
I get the point you're making but I just don't think it serves either the character or the plot for the FL to be all over the ML in the way you want. And there's barely been time to do anything. They fully got on the same page in ep 8.
Does taking him to a place that's special to her and her father count? And letting him spend the night in her family home? I'm sure there's a motel at least in that town.
Till now (ep 8), the ML has taken initiative at every step. We didn't get to see how much interested the FL herself…
Given her current situation, what exactly would "interested" look like from her end? She's technically still married. And pulling off a scam that could cost her a lot if she is caught. And she's in debt and homeless. And dealing with a crazy af ex.
oops his praises on Twitter and other social plat forms has triggered the coven😂😂😂at least be coherent…
That's actually nice. I'm glad people are noticing him more. (I don't consume BL on social media fyi.)
Rather than make hasty judgement I want to wait and understand the characterisation better. If that annoys you enough to make silly comments like this, then you better block me because I intend to watch the entire drama and share my candid thoughts as they arise, whether it be praise or not.
Edit: Something said to check your profile and your account was made today, you've marked the drama as completed and left a 10 plus a glowing review. I know what you are. I don't want to waste my block on you but know this: you're very foolish.
Here I go again, starting a BL in a genre I have to business watching as a scaredy-cat but it is Pooh Pavel so what can I do? Liked the pairing from the first PitBabe. Second one was a snooze fest and I dropped it midway. But this is showing a lot of promise and I'm looking forward to all the reveals. I will hold my thoughts about Pooh's acting until after the third episode.
Another beautiful episode. Of course it's cliched and mostly predictable. Still amazing and full of fluttery moments. Woo-shik really is the romcom king. Love how collected stable Wooju is. He's not trying to let Meri get away from him or have her doubt him in any way.
I'm a little over the 'get drunk with a man you barely know' trope but it was so funny in this episode. The doctor is such a brat though. This close to being unlikeable.
These three as a collective? Hilarious. There's so juvenile around each other. I always notice Woobin's being shorter than Kwangsoo. Meanwhile there's Kyungsoo right there being a short king.
I have to let this one go. Halfway through episode 3 and I had to stop and tell myself the truth. It's not going to get better. It does have (a few) redeeming qualities but the writing and acting and cinematography are so below par.

This was so much fun to watch. I always suspected Kim Young-dae was a little kooky and I have my confirmation. He's quite funny too.
