I liked this show. A lot. But I can't get over the casual cruelty and toxicity of all four lead characters. I had hoped nobody ended up with anybody and they went back to their friend groups and just did stupid teenage stuff. They don't have any tools to deal with the not-so-romantic aspects of dating. The break-up-to-make-up cycle is going to last years. Good thing it's fiction.
This is so bloody entertaining and funny. Helps that I like all the characters and there is no villain or crazy plot twist or mix-in of genres. It's giving romcom 100%.
Kim Jae Wook is a fantastic actor. He's not the main lead in this and he's acting circles around everyone else. And the other actors are quite good so that's saying something.
I don't know where you are watching your subs from, but if it's from the original subber, we should be grateful,…
Nothing about your original comment says you have a problem with anything. You have no reason to apologise because someone projected their own meaning onto your words.
This is the sort of drama you watch at a slow pace. I've been watching this for weeks and it hits different than if I had decided to binge. I love everything about it.
Zhi sure is privileged. She sees things from such a rose-tinted perspective that comes from having secure backup. Even if she failed as an artist she could have just returned home to the family business. And of course she's very "financial status doesn't matter" because she's not the one who is being ragged about it.
I couldn't help but be reminded of 1000 Stars. I thought the scenes with the Hem character were the most interesting…
The grandma funds their life from the look of things and she's likely trying to secure a future heir to her business hence trying to get him to spend time at the reserve. He negotiated it down to the three months before he has to resume college. But he hasn't gotten the scholarship yet. He just applied.
Joss is an amazing actor. Watched him in 3 Will Be Free and he is phenomenal in that series despite being a total…
Maybe in your culture y'all are limited to two genders. If you have a culture to call your own, that is. Gender is not binary in my culture and many others around me. We have words for the different genders in our languages. Don't be making such absolute statements when your knowledge of the world is limited to whatever the hegamony has spoon-fed you. What you believe means nothing in the grand scheme of the world. I could not give two fucks about American politicisation of people's lives and realities. To define the world by that nonsense just makes you ignorant as fuck.
ps: you can't pick and choose allyship based on what gets you off.
the pinned joe rogan quote on his twitter shouldve clued us in loljokes aside damn i am so lost so let me rant…
My friend just told me about this today and your comment nails it for me like if you're conservative-leaning why the act the gay? Stick to your guns and tell the company you're not doing it.
There are only 2 good things I can say about this episode: - The Thara woman seems very fierce and is a good actress.…
"Gawin's acting is terrible, sorry, not sorry" I agree, painful as it is to do so because Gawin can act. He's just missing all the notes on this one. The character being immature and childish doesn't matter because a good actor would be able to pull it off, their way at least. I'm blaming the director for this one.
Now that you mention... in this series vampires actually lack a little bit of "the presence" given of on the traditional…
You make a good argument but... we both know they're not being intentional else the first time we see the vampires won't be at that super exclusive event and Thana would be dressed a little differently. They actually tried to replicate that aura but they're just not getting it. They're just lucky to have viewers who fill in the gaps for them to make it make sense.
Maybe you mean sensations rather than emotions? And even at that just taste and smell. The silliness of vampires twinkling in the sun put me off Twilight so I don't understand the comparison 🌚
So far I would say this is definitely camp, so it's unintentionally funny, but characters arent cartoonish the…
Just reminded me of writing class the teacher warning us against being "unintentionally funny". But it's the perfect description. They're acting their hearts out but the plot is and everything else is working against them.
I was going to critique this drama but Joss came onscreen and I forgot everything else. The man is beautiful my goodness. I have liked Gawin forever but I barely spare him a glance when Joss is onscreen. What a beauty.
That said.
GMMTV please spend some fucking money on special effects. Please. I said it after ep 1 but the vampires are so damn slow. Just getting from point A to point B takes forever. Let's not even expect the ability to dodge bullets. And what's with all the tripping and falling over when pushed? The worst for me is that the vampires don't have rizz, steeze, presence, that magnetism that draws in you. Vampire characters especially ones as elite and well-drank as these should make the air ripple when they're onscreen with their sheer presence. Even without the fangs and yellow eyes. Didn't anyone do the homework? Nakan is supposed to be the villain but so far he's giving spoilt brat.

Joss is fine as fuck. What a man. Ugh.
