I really enjoy reading the comments on these sorts of stories because people be losing their shit and projecting like mad over unconfirmed casting news. It's entertaining af. 😂 Keep up the good work.

Nobody is putting money, time and effort just to adapt a piece of work and make "change for the sake of change". I believe a lot of thought goes into this things. Adaptations are artistic creations in their own right rather than mere translations from one medium to another. Does it capture the essence of the original while working well in the new medium? That's the question to ask.
One thing you haven't said but that I agree with completely is the right of fans of the original work to have an emotional connection to it and want to see all the little details which means major and minor changes feel like they're taking away what made the original work special. They have the right to get mad.
I just find it hard to judge an adaptation mainly by faithfulness to the OG. And maybe MDL is not the best platform to have these kinds of discussions because people here are really passionate about what they like so I could just be hitting my head against a wall.
ps: I read and loved Heesu in Class 2 and I've been looking forward to the drama. I'm excited to see the characters and plot come to life and curious to see what they've done with the story. If they fuck it up and it sucks, best believe I will be loud af with my displeasure. And vice versa.

Here's the thing: adaptions don't have to stick to the original to the letter. It's been adapted for a different format and parts of the story will change. That's just facts. To be fair, I understand wanting to see a story you love come to life exactly the same but that's not going to happen so why not embrace change and enjoy it? Also, words mean things. It's just ep 1 and we've barely seen/know who the straight couple is and someone is already complaining about the lack of chemistry between them. That's what I mean by ridiculous nit-picking. Not valid stuff like a gay couple being switched for a straight couple, Phew. I need a drink.
Some comments read like folks were prepared to have issues with this show and since the issues didn't come up they have to make shit up to be upset about. Get ready for the most ridiculous nit-picking ever on a KBL.
Anyone else just here because they're a nerd? LOL xD I do agree with the criticisms and I can understand why some…
I'm a vampire nerd and my earlier comments on this show might have been a little harsh but I decided to think of the show as goofy/camp/irreverent just so I can enjoy the rest of the ride so yay.
Did you like Wandee Goodday ? This explains a lot.
Of course I liked it. Wandee Goodday delivered on the romance and comedy, the characters were believable and the plot was fairly consistent. A solid 7/10 drama but I added one more point because of how entertaining it was. What else did you find out I like? Happy to share my thoughts.
You are in episode 3 and you want an explanation for something that's reserved for the future? Oh dear if you…
I guess that explains it and we can just ignore decades of vampire lore about sunlight. But I was being pedantic and it doesn't matter much to me how they decide to tell the story atp.

Why does one have to read a novel to understand a drama adaptation? If the drama isn't answering at least some of the questions three episodes in, how is it the fault of the person watching and not the creators? And if we're being pedantic, vampires should not be able to walk around in the sun without any consequence whatsoever. In most popular well-written show/movie where they break that, there's an explanation. This drama doesn't even bother.
Third episode and still no improvement. Everything just kind of falls flat. Except Joss' beauty which is undisputed. I've given up on the CGI being any better or the vampires being more vampire-y. But the plot is below average for me. Why make a whole fuss about how much danger Tong is in and move him to Mark's house only to allow him move out because he threw got angry at having been protected all his life from when they could have just told a kid "and by the way vampires are after you". Plus a few seconds before he was waxing poetic about how much the Miss loved and cared for him. That conversation he overheard does not justify the immediate doubt unless he's been doubting her love all along. Although, I'll say that all of this work if Tong is a complete drama queen but that's not the vibe I get from the character.
Let me not go into some of the dialogue which sometimes sound like two different conversations.
But.
I have now lowered my expectations and I am braced for the worst. What's a little paper-thin plot in the face of Joss' beauty?
Glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks Hem's animosity is completely unjustified. Fifa is behaving exactly like a city kid dumped in the boondocks. It's not even been 24 hours and you're giving him lectures about perfection? The food allergy thing was an unfortunate incident but he's acting like Fifa took a gun and shot someone. Pfft.
Finally finished this. Loved this because it was mostly feel good and I liked the characters. But I hated that the grandma got off so lightly. I was expecting it because it's a kdrama after all. Years of emotional and mental abuse and neglect gone poof because of one apology. A joke.
He had the best storyline, so the best opportunity to show his acting chops. I was surprised he took a supporting…
Lol. I re-watched parts of Crazy Love after posting this comment. First time I saw him was in Temperature of Love as the second male lead and I could not take my eyes off him. The man turns every role into something special imo.
Just finished ep 3 and I am so mad at the mum. "It must have hurt"? That's all she says instead of apologising to her daughter after all the nasty hurtful things she said to and about her. Not to talk about the neglect the poor child must have experienced. Urgh
I don't know where you are watching your subs from, but if it's from the original subber, we should be grateful,…
It wasn't their intention because they said exactly what they meant and it was clear what they meant. The problem came from you misreading/misunderstanding them (which you don't acknowledge).
And I get your point because people complain about subs being too slow when it's fansubbers taking their time to do everyone a favour. But that was clearly not the case here at all.
This could have been so much better. It started out well but just kinda got worse with each episode. I'm not saying it's bad. It was entertaining and the leads are good-looking. But so much of the dysfunction was just there for the plot.
The actors are competent so I hope they get more roles.

I never saw the trailer.
ps: your page is so pretty. love the colours.
