Say after me, the film and the book are two different animals. Adaptation does not mean 100% copy. Every time I watch an adaptation, novel readers are almost always judging the film by what they've read and projecting their imagination on the characters. I'm a reader myself, and I understand how part of the fun of reading is using your imagination to fill in the gaps and create imagery. But in film, it's all laid out in front of your eyes, and most of the time, it will not match your vision to a T. And if it matches yours, it'll be different for the next person and the next, and so on.
Being able to separate the two forms while still holding space for your experience of the book does not happen by chance. It's something you learn over time: the ability to enjoy the different art forms and criticise them based on their merits/demerits.
Some adaptations can be absolute trash and deserve all the smoke. But picking on every tiny detail that doesn't match the original or your imagination as a reason to trash-talk a good show is just lazy af. (Nobody is trash-talking this show, I'm making a general reference.)

Unsure why I'm getting a summary of the episode or a question about cats. If this is a confusion about the last line, that refers to the other female character not the FL.
Some comments make me wonder if people are watching this drama with one finger on the ffw button. Or have people just gotten worse at interpreting information and need everything spelled out in great detail? I'm saying this because the individual's inability to understand a simple plot is often misrepresented as the drama doing something wrong.

Another stellar episode. Min has such expressive eyes. He's doing so much even though it looks like he's barely doing anything. Can't believe I was having an argument in this cs last week with someone who insisted he has an ordinary face. People be saying anything.
Guess everyone has a thing they're finicky about around costumes. For me, it's ill-fitting suits. I don't wanna see the shoulder pads or arm creases or lapels not lying flat. This is where Korean series eat like mad because the suits are always on point.
Came to check the reviews halfway into ep one and you're right on the money. Funny enough I enjoy fluffy dramas, but this just isn't working for me at all.
