This is one of the best Japanese BLs I have seen this year. If not the best. It's kind of silly and fun but has serious themes. The leads are perfect together and the actors killed the roles. The way Ryo loses his shit whenever Zen says something romantic to him is so cute. And the special episode was the best way to wrap things up. All that fluff and domesticity. Lovely.

Favourite character across two seasons - North. Favourite couple - Johan/North.

I was looking forward to Tiger/Nao but it just wasn't it for me at all. There were just too many things that could have been better. And the actor who plays Tiger's brother gave such a dismal performance.

In all, glad I made it to the end of the series.

Seo In-guk is such a beautiful man. And the FL is a good actor cos I can't find a trace of the annoying character from Flex. I think the hate she's getting is a carryover from that show. And I must have blocked all the right people because I'm not seeing the hate comments on the FL. Just wish there wasn't a limit on blocking.

Men like the 2ml are the worst because he genuinely believes he loves her. Yet he will pick himself every time.

Also a brand new bike left at doorstep in such a poor neighbourhood, the bike would have been stolen in a minute.
Poor people aren't thieves. And you think that's a poor neighbourhood?

I feel like they're lwk trying to portray her as a good character who had no "choice" but to run away…
You already know she's getting one.

I am so fucking ready, this screams cliche cold male lead from a mile, gives me 2010s kdramas and I am ready for…
Ah. This explains why this drama felt so warm. It's the predictability. Love it.

I like the series, I like min. So this is not trolling or bashing him ok. This is spoken from a place of objectivity.…
No, it's not valid.

They do this thing in dramas where they try to make a beautiful actor fit the mold of "ugly" or "ordinary" by giving them unflattering glasses or untidy haircuts (or ugly-ass wigs) and have other characters reference their looks. I knew that's what happened here, so my comment was tongue-in-cheek. I doubt anyone on the production team actually looks at Min and thinks he's mid.

The Thai BL industry is driven by beauty, and the competition has only gotten fierce over the past couple of years. No ordinary-looking actor with less than four years of acting (with two support roles) is getting cast as a lead in a BL. They know that beauty sells.

Whose tradition? Whose beauty standards?

This is getting a little weird for me, so I'll stop here.

Lol. I was making a joke. Opposite of slow burn. Things heat up quickly.

Yeah. Our beauty standards are very different. Faces having to be a certain way or shape to be considered beautiful is not a thing for me. I didn't even notice the concave thing you mentioned or that his lips are any sort of way. The whole comes together beautifully.

Hollywood directors as reference? Holly-fucking-wood directors? From the 70s? Jesus.

Let's just agree we will not see eye to eye on this. Thanks for the response, though.

She's not trying to get revenge. She is after money and power. "The car accident and destroying others' lives…
She tried to kill him because he was waking up, and if he did, the truth about her being the one behind the hit and run would come to light. Along with her opportunity to take over the company. Money and power. She's not some goddess of vengeance trying to right a wrong.

"Forced to be evil" is a stretch. Because she could have gotten away with the hit and run without trying to wreck the young man's life even more. That was a choice.

I commented earlier in the series that she would have been the better choice for the succession if she weren't so evil, so I certainly see her strengths. But she has to take her actions to the extreme. And that's her undoing.

Kudos to the actor for doing a stellar job. Else we wouldn't be having this argument.

The biggest flaw with the early episodes is all the lines about how "ordinary" Sun looks. Jokes. As if saying it enough times will make us believe it. Lol.
