its not "boring", it gives a really strange vibe while watching it kinda reminds me of the movie Burning, both…
I'm sorry but the pacing loses you midway, which is a problem. I'm at ep 5 and find this extremely interesting but draggy enough for me consider dropping it. I had to watch the last two eps I watched on 2x speed to make up for the odd pacing - which I shouldn't have to. Also, I cannot connect with any of the characters. I get that the FL can't read dangerous situations well due to her condition but how tf could a "cop" have such bad judgment?
You nailed it with this review. I never fast forward anything I watch. And if I do press the 2x button, that show for me has inarguably lost me with its pacing.
Think I'll watch something else, as I doubt I'll be anything but annoyed by the end of this show.
You know what.. just when you think you feel a fleeting emotion of sympathy for Fukushima, or I don't know, some form of understanding for her behaviour, it really doesn't take her long to bring you back to zero. She is OBNOXIOUS. To the bitter end.
I like this drama story. However, the FL, just like in some other Japanese drama I watched, is a complete idiot.…
I am rewatching Kimi wa Pet. This should give you the answers you're seeking.
In short, you don't have anything to gain from being strong, smart and independent as a woman in Asia. So girls deliberately play dumb to get by in their male dominated world. I've had Asian female friends and it always baffled me how different their public versus private "personas" were. One moment they are this ditzy, rambling, cutesy fool and the next when everybody else leave, they turn into this intelligent, bright woman.
Istg this girl's gotta have the most wolf-in-disguise toxic friend ever... Our homegirl is dumb af and instead of taking pity on her gullible ways and kind of, you know, supporting her...as a "good friend" should...she keeps getting her into trouble by planting weird thoughts into her head. What an f-ing friend...
Things that bother me until I can't sleep :D 1. Does the killer knows that Kayo is in the bus?2. Why does the…
1. Most likely, yes. 2. It was a good way to throw them off the track, make them trust him fully - or as he said to Satoru in one of the scenes, first you make people lower their guard then you can make them do anything. He already knew he couldn't get to Kayo at this point, since Satoru really made sure to mess up his plans, so the next best thing he could do to turn things around to his advantage was to gain their trust by acting like he was on their side, helping them. A classic psychopath move.
Not a very clear ending - or a satisfactory one, for that matter. But nice build-up, the suspense and the elements of horror were perfect. I have to admit, it had me hooked from the start, I was glued to my screen trying to figure out who did it. Yes, it didn't have the most brilliant acting in the world, but hear me out, the bad acting actually added to the characters of these spooked out high school girls, it made them seem more authentic if you will.
Pro-tip: if you want to look back on this production with no regrets and still have it keep its level of dark mystery and seriousness, do not watch the extra special episode at the end. It will do you absolutely no good.
i didnt like the ending at all & it wasnt because ayumi didn’t choose kaga but bc it hurt to see him cry like…
I don't think he cried because he felt heartbroken but at the realization that a part of him had taken a liking to Umine san all along - all the times he made fun of her, pinched her chubby cheeks, pulled her bangs aside with the barrette he gave her, stood up for her for getting bullied for her looks etc.
Think I'll watch something else, as I doubt I'll be anything but annoyed by the end of this show.

7 min in and I vehemently regret my decision. U-turn it is...
