Qi Min and Qianqians story has me all invested hook, line and sinker. I don't know how he's doing it but you can…
I'm glad we as the audience can feel it. Most times they make this behavior feel romantic, or only show that the FL is scared, but the audience never feels it, that's why people romanticize the behavior. I get goosebumps and butterflies when this guy comes on screen. They're doing everything right. And same, I'm hooked! I usually never care for second leads but hooooo I'm neck deep.
It's been a while since I've finished a show without struggle. Many shows falter at the end, but this did not. Every episode was great, entertaining, and kept me hooked. The plot was nothing special, a typical infiltration story, but it's execution was what set it apart. It was funny when it needed to be, emotional when it needed to be, serious when it needed to be. It really is an well-rounded show!
Except for romance.... BUT I have no problem with that. I'm glad they didn't force a romance. From the description, it made it seem like we'd have a romance on our hands, but it never would've worked. More shows need to do this. Instead, we got a beautiful sisterhood that made the whole show. I wasn't forced either, it came so naturally, all the girls fit into their piece in the plot. I will miss them. I hope we can see them in season 2!!
Believe me im trying SO HARD!! not to watch while ongoi g because the wait is killing me. But those trailers,…
Don't do it... I regret it. It's 40 episodes. I now have to go at this obscure snail pace for the month. I'm happy for about an hour and a half per day. The rest is hell. If you didn't realize that's the time I spend watching the episodes. These last two days have been hell. You cannot save me. But save yourself. God I'm so dramatic.... Rightfully So! Come back after a week. I believe in you.
I really love Tian Xi Wei... I last saw her in New Life Begins and she was an amazing. She seems to always play strong women, that are really refreshing in comparison to many "strong" leads. Never a stereotype. Never one end or the other. This character is physically, and mentally strong, but she feels so real.
I HATE MYSELF, WHY DID I START IT NOW UGHHHHH All other shows, I made to start at least a week after it started airing.... WHY DID I START ON DAY ONE!?!! And this show is 40 episode long... I DON'T THINK I CAN BEAR WITH THIS WAIT
I'm not watching this drama, just coming back to see the comments, praying for a reason to start, but nobody is giving me one lol clearly this show went in the complete opposite direction everyone was expecting.
From clips I've seen, the SML is handsome, and his romance with the FL is cute.... but if they liked him so much, why make him the SML? Should've made their romance into a completely different show, wipe out the baby and ML. Why do this to this plot that had such potential of being a heart-warming story of healing together and the cutest baby on earth.
Finished the show, it was a great watch. It was totally different from the historical cdramas i've seen, especially a transmigration show. The two leads are such a breath of fresh air in this genre, I really liked them and their bond as outsiders. The other characters were also great. I think my favourite part was the acknowledgement that they are still humans, and that we should care for them even if in the novel they exist for merely a page.
The villain was great, I could not envision Tang Xiao Tian as a villain after seeing him in other shows, but he really did so good here. I got chills when he was with the FL after the fire. I also liked Yong Er's character, having another transmigrator, but someone who is technically not a real outsider like our leads. It sounds confusing, but to an avid transmigration reader, this was a fun twist.
The story was interesting, the plot twists had me shocked. The character arcs for everyone was enjoyable. The ending fell off a bit for me, felt like a lot was happening but also nothing of value. Despite that, I enjoyed the show. It definitely sets the benchmark for future transmigration shows (at least in regards to characters, not the transmigration part).
Side note: The funniest part to me was that the two things these two leads brought from their world was hotpot and guns lol
I'm watching episode 30 and I'm so confused... which army is which? Who is fighting who? Why? What side is the king on? What side protects Duan? Are the imperial guards on the king's side? But how? They were in the castle while this guy was hiding? What's the backstory behind a certain army protecting each side... Someone help...
Romance is a part of life, so any of the characters can plunge into romance any time.. FL was so flattered when…
Exactly! She is flattered but not getting butterflies... cause she's like aww you're so cute, thank you. They aren't right for her. They just want to pair the FL with a ML, a woman with a man. But they are forgetting to look at her character and whether they actually suit her at all....
