I like how your review focuses on the world building/structure rather than the plot and emotional aspect of the…
Thank you very much for taking the time to read my review. I really appreciate it.

Actually, when I immerse myself in a world, I always want to understand as much as possible about that world. It’s not only about understanding the characters better, but also about making the world itself feel alive.

For example, in Love in the Clouds, we are told that winning the tournament grants the blessed rain, which brings prosperity. But we never really learn what that means in detail. What are the rules of the tournament? How do the battles work? Are there different strategies? Are certain types of magic or weapons forbidden? The drama mentions these things, but mostly only on a surface level.

I think this works well for many viewers because they focus more on the emotional journey of the characters rather than the depth and structure of the world they are following. But when I watch a series, I personally hope to get a complete picture of the world, and unfortunately, that was something I felt was missing in Love in the Clouds.

Regarding Mingyi’s betrayal, I actually thought it was very well written. What I loved about it is that she is trying to survive because she desperately wants to keep living, but at the same time, she feels a responsibility toward her people in the Mountain Clan. She also respects Jin Bozai as a person, which is why she cannot simply use his feelings for her to obtain the healing medicine.

Someone could argue that she should have talked to him honestly, and that he would have understood and helped her. Maybe that would have been the easier solution. But I think Mingyi’s choice came from wanting to honor her master’s final wish. Her master did not want others to obtain that medicine, and Mingyi did not want Jin Bozai to betray his own values and the promise he made to his master just because he loved her.

If she had asked him, he probably would have given her the medicine, but then she would have been the reason he abandoned his own principles. To protect his values and his promise, she chose to steal the medicine instead. And that creates such a complex emotional conflict.

She feels love, but also shame for betraying him. She is afraid of losing him, while also knowing she has hurt him. She doesn’t want to cause him pain, but telling him the truth would mean losing her dignity and going against everything she believes in. She accepts the risk that she may never get the medicine. And Jin Bozai even told her that whenever she tried to bring up the medicine and her illness, he felt happy that she was the only person among everyone who cared about him as a person, not because of the medicine. That was why she couldn’t bring herself to do it.

Then, when the medicine is destroyed, she reaches a point of hopelessness and accepts her death. Her cat sacrificing itself to extend her life creates even more emotions: despair, deep sadness, and guilt, because she knows that if she had simply been honest, she might not have had to experience this regret.

The fact that the drama can create so many different emotions at such a high level within only a few minutes is what impressed me so much about this story haha.

I hope this explanation helped make my thoughts clearer. Thank you again for your message, and I hope you had fun reading my review as well!🌸🎆

So if you've seen episode 13 you all know that the Shamen from the Joseon era says 'Your Highness' needs to return…
tbh it Looks more Like Shin so ri did time Travel the First time back to the joseon when she was in the car accident and Forgot about the past. This would make sense cause Shin so ri is remebering her time as a Child but doesnt remeber her time when she was a Teenager. And kang when she was in the River Almost died too. She did time Travel to the Future and lived as Shin so ri. the reason Shin so ri did Return to her Body is because Kang is dying and she needs to Return fast back to her Original Body otherwise she will Stuck in the past. other reason i think Like This is because Shin so ri was always a good actor and as a kid her Acting skills were really good. while kang in her past was more a passive Person and quite shy . so when Shin so ri did time Travel it would make Sense Why After her Childhood she was so Bad at Acting. it was Bad because kang Never was a good actor Like the real Shin so ri. ye thats the Plot that i think is Happen . Shin so ri did Return from the past and did Not time Travel at the First Place

what the shamen means is that Kang needs to Return back from the Future to the past and Shin so ri needs to Return as kang the concubine back to Shin so ri. Cause when kang real Body dies and Shin so ri is Not in her own Body Then she will die as kang dan sim
