BL THAT IS WORTH THE HYPE

I want to start this review off by saying this BL is one that is so worth the hype! It progressively kept getting better and better. When I first watched the unofficial trailer during GMMTV 2021 I was hooked, but when the official trailer came out I was a bit disappointed (I just wasn't as into it as the unofficial trailer). However, when the actual series came out boy was I FARRRRR from being disappointed. This series is a MASTERPIECE. The acting is phenomenal and Ohm and Nanon did an amazing job at bringing Pat and Pran to life (they seriously deserve many awards for this series). Their chemistry was so good and there was nothing awkward about them at all, everything looked so natural. They conveyed emotions effortlessly and I swear their acting is top notch! Another thing about this BL is it defeats the stereotypes typically found in other BLs like the husband and wife/top and bottom stereotype, I'm not gay I only like him stereotype, homophobic parents, etc. ALSO WE GET SOME GL CRUMBS IN THIS DRAMA FROM INK AND PA. Another thing that I loved about this drama was that Pat and Pran had such a healthy relationship and communicated! They did not let silly misunderstandings drag on and get between them when they were finally together and they worked through things together and fixed things right away. They leaned on each other and were each others strength during tough times. ALSO WANNA MAKE A SPECIAL MENTION TO PAT BECAUSE THAT BOY WAS SERIOUSLY THE BEST. HE REALLY DID EVERYTHING HE COULD TO MAKE PRAN HAPPY AND I SERIOUSLY NEED A PAT IN MY LIFE. This series was never boring and I looked forward to watching a new episode every Friday (and for me that is amazing because I usually get bored watching ongoing dramas because I lose my excitement). This series had everything one could ever ask for: romance, comedy, a little bit of angst and drama. Overall, this BL was so entertaining and incorporated various lessons into the plot. Props to P'Aof, Ohm, Nanon, and the rest of the cast and production team for giving us Bad Buddy.

Love as an Error in the System?

This BL was really good! Korea is really stepping up their game in BLs and I seriously enjoyed this one! This BL is a hit for good reason because it’s cute and has just enough plot with a nice pacing for the 8 episodes. It was an overall great watch!

Seoham and Jaechan’s chemistry was so on point! Their dynamic worked great and their acting was pretty good. They fit their roles well and did a great job at portraying Jaeyoung and Sangwoo. Loved the fact that their friendship in real life is so cute too and that even before Semantic Error, Seoham already talked about in his v-live in wanting to treat the Dongkiz (Jaechan’s group) to some milkis back in 2020.
Side note: THEIR KISS IN EPISODE 7 WAS EVERYTHING. DAMN. THE CHEMISTRY AND THE TENSION WAS SIZZLING.
Another side note: I didn’t know at first that Seoham was 6’3!? I just thought Jaechan was on the shorter side, but he really isn’t (at 5’10) and Seoham is just a giant!!

Jaeyoung was such a walking green flag. He was mischievous at first, but he is really respectful and not the typical cocky popular guy on campus. I loved his flirtatiousness, playful nature, and his visuals were just freaking amazing (especially in his all black server uniform!!!!). The tension between him and Sangwoo was so entertaining to watch. I’m happy he accepted and was real with his feelings from the beginning. He wasn’t scared of being him and accepting what his heart really wanted. He was so bold with his feelings too when he told Ryu Ji Hye about liking Sangwoo and him bullying her to stay away from Sangwoo was so funny. His “If you’re thinking of being around him, you have to be ready to go against me” line was EPIC.
Side note: Jaeyoung wanting to give up going to France and his dream for Sangwoo was so touching

Sangwoo may have been someone who is calculating and aloof but he was also so adorable! His reaction to his growing feelings for Jaeyoung was both cute and funny. ESPECIALLY THE SHIBAL SCENE IN THE BATHROOM LOL. I also loved that though he’s more quiet and introverted, he wasn’t afraid to stand up for himself which led to his relationship with Jaeyoung. He and Jaeyoung really balance each other out with their personalities and their chemistry was just spot on. He was so adorable when he walked away after kissing Jaeyoung. Also, him saying “I’d die if it didn’t” when Jaeyoung asked him if his heart beat when seeing him was such a typical Sangwoo response that made me laugh so hard. His frankness was just hilarious. He took a bit longer to accept his feelings and be real with himself, but it’s to be expected given his personality.
Side note: the way he was willing to give up on his love and game just so Jaeyoung would go to DEX is so selfless of him :,)

Yuna and Hyeongtak were great friends to Jaeyoung and were fun to watch. Yuna being bi was a nice touch too (yes for more diversity in Korean BLs!)

Also thought that the whole preview, 2 week trial, and subscription thing that Jaeyoung did for a relationship with him was so funny. Really fits the theme of this drama. I like how he knows how to handle Sangwoo and that Sangwoo needs to do things a little differently.

Overall I loved this BL drama and enjoyed every bit of it! Even without a real antagonist, it was an entertaining watch. Hoping for a season 2 when Seoham gets discharged :-)

A RomCom Lovers Dream Drama

A Business Proposal is a refreshing and binge-worthy kdrama that has the kdrama community in a CHOKEHOLD. And there’s good reason for that! It is such a comedic drama that almost reminds me of the older K-Dramas from 2016-2017. It really brings me back and reminds me of why I like K-Dramas so much! It is funny and light and just lifts my mood whenever I watched it. Lately, for some reason, many K-Dramas have had sad endings so this one is comedic relief from all those sad and angsty dramas.

Ahn Hyo Seop: Ahn Hyo Seop portrays Kang Tae Mu really well. He really fits the cold and workaholic character that has a softer side for his loved ones. It was frustrating though that it took him 4 episodes and seeing Ha Ri’s ID to figure out it was Ha Ri when he was literally looking at her picture a couple times on his big screen and ran into her and heard her voice a couple times as well. But I guess it is needed for the story, otherwise the plot would get cut short. Overall, really like his character because he isn’t the typical tyrannical jerk CEO. He has emotions and he shows it! And he’s not unjustly mean and cruel too. He even fired “Geum Hui” when he realized that what he was doing to Ha Ri wasn’t right anymore. Also, he realizes his feelings pretty early on and did something about it which I liked.
His character could seriously be the son of Young Joon and Mi So from What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim, especially when he pushes his hair back LOL.

Kim Se Jeong: Kim Se Jeong does a great job portraying Ha Ri! She is so funny and she really matched well with her character. Her expressions are on point and she is doing justice to Ha Ri’s character! I also love Ha Ri as a character! She is sweet and genuine, but didn’t let anyone step all over her (ex. in episode 5 when she stood up to Tae Mu over the ravioli).

Kim Min Gue: I like him in this drama and his aloof but kind character really fit him. Is definitely a drastic change from his crazy character Comrade Joo from Snowdrop LOL. His character is loyal and smart and he is so adorable in trying to stop his feelings for Jin Young! I also really like his straightforwardness.

Seol In Ha: I really love her in this drama! Her and Se Jeong were the perfect funny best friend duo! Her character’s pettiness over Sung Hoon’s boundaries is so funny and cute too! She is killing it with her character and I can’t imagine anyone else playing Jin Young LOL.

Lee Deok Hwa: He is the K-Drama grandfather that everyone could relate to LOL. He adds so much comedy to this drama! Especially when he is watching the Geum Hui drama with his mismatched pajamas and sheet masks yelling at the screen! So relatable LOL. Loved seeing such a supportive elder who isn’t an antagonist for the relationship of his grandchild.

Relationships:

Tae Mu and Ha Ri: The chemistry is great for this pairing! They are both comedic, but still have us crazy for their romance.

Sung Hoon and Jin Young: They are a golden second lead couple! A rich spoiled girl/serious guy is always a great trope and I love them so much! The chemistry was EVERYTHING! I just know everyone looked forward to this second lead couple!

Tae Mu and Sung Hoon: Love this duo! They are so serious, but oddly comedic and funny together!

Ha Ri and Jin Young: I freaking love their friendship! i missed seeing these kinds of friendships in K-Dramas where it’s all love, no jealousy! They were such a comedic duo who were perfect for the serious duo that Tae Mu and Sung Hoon are.

I was laughing the entire time while watching this K-Drama and yes, it’s cliche, but it is cliche done right! I would highly recommend it!!

WATTPAD MEETS K-DRAMA

This k-drama is only two episodes in and I am already HOOKED!! It has all my favorite tropes: arranged marriage, she fell first he fell harder, cold male lead who secretly cares for the female lead, etc. The acting and the chemistry between Yoo Yeon Seok and Chae Soo Bin is so good! I am living for the tension and Baek Sa Eon's possessiveness/protectiveness! AND THE PLOT TWISTS!? SO GOOD!! It is also a plot that I have never seen before, especially in a k-drama. Overall, such a good k-drama that has me hooked since episode one!

*Will update my review once finished!

Cute Heir and Girl Boss Romance

I found this drama from Instagram when only the poster was released and the visuals of the main couple had me adding it to my list. Then when it was about to air it was all over Tiktok and I got reminded to watch it. Definitely different from the Tiktok edits as they portray it to be a more spicy drama when in reality it’s mostly fluff which I’m living for!

I typically don’t like age gap dramas, but Wang Zi Yi and Gina Jin were great together and had a lot of chemistry! Also, their age gap wasn’t too noticeable either.

Gu Jia Xin seems to be an immature and mischievous playboy in the beginning, but in reality he’s literally like a puppy! This boy is a walking green flag and is actually very mature, kind, and thoughtful. He realizes his feelings early on which I like. He does a lot for his YueYue and his confession was SO thoughtful and romantic. Also, despite being constantly harassed by Li Yan Ran he was never mean to her or led her on. He was still a gentleman despite probably being so annoyed. Yes he did do childish actions, but we can see that he really matured and tried to improve himself, especially for Zhao Jiang Yue. I really loved his character!!
Side Note: In episode 14 you can really see Gu Jia Xin’s sincerity. Despite being injured and in the hospital, he picked Zhao Jiang Yue up and saved her from those businessmen. He also saw the scorecards between him and Mr.Xu which probably hurt him a lot, but despite that he still continued to take care of Zhao Jiang Yue and even made her porridge in the morning. He even freaking apologized for seeing it!! Seriously love this man.

Zhao Jiang Yue is so beautiful and very much an independent woman. Her character was nice and her personality and reluctance to start a relationship with Gu Jia Xin gave this drama just enough drama to make it interesting. Also her proposal to Gu Jia Xin was EVERYTHING! Just like his confession, her proposal was so thoughtful and sweet. I loved it!

As for Qi Heng and Zheng Duo Xi, they’re story is cliche, but really cute! Lol. Both like each other, but are too innocent and shy to admit at first. They’re such a cute couple full of fluff. I also noticed that their outfits are always coordinated/matching lol!
Side note: I loved Gu Jia Xin and Zheng Duo Xi’s friendship. They helped each other with relationships and they just had such a cute friendship overall.

Didn’t care too much about the second lead couple though. Li Yan Ran was so annoying and childish, but her and Xu Ning Yan, who is so serious, balance each other out. Li Yan Ran was infuriating as the show went on and kept harassing Gu Jia Xin. Good thing his patience was long and she finally accepted he doesn’t like her in the end. I guess all the couples in this series are opposites who balance each other out. But again, didn’t care too much for the other couple besides the main couple.

I liked Qiao Jingjing and Zhang Hao as a couple when it came out that him cheating wasn’t true but before then they were okay.

I did have an issue with the dubbing for Gu Jia Xin (which was still dubbed by Wang Zi Yi) sometimes because it wasn’t always accurate or synced which I noticed a couple times. :(

Overall I liked this drama! It was a fun and light watch :)

Controversial and toxic, but I liked it?

To start off I would like to say that this lakorn is NOT for everyone. It deals with things that are very controversial that many people may not be comfortable with and in many instances is VERY toxic. If you can look past that though, it is worth the watch as this drama turned out to be one of my favorite lakorns of all time (I usually stick to BL’s as many lakorns I have watched tend to be TOO dramatic and a drag to me with the story being everywhere). I really got attached to this drama and would look forward to watching it. It is VERY tropey (love at first sight, enemies to lovers, revenge, slap-kiss, one night stand where the female lead gets pregnant and hides their child(ren), etc.), but I live for all the tropes and this drama had me hooked! I found this drama to not be a drag, despite it being almost 2 hours long per episode for 15 episodes. The story also flowed really well and I enjoyed every second of it!

PLOT/STORY: The plot/story of this drama was very well written! I found it to be a good pacing (which I am usually pretty picky about) without dragging or rushing anything. Though the beginning of the main couple was quite shocking and disturbing and would make anyone watching uncomfortable (me included), it was needed to fuel the rest of the story (kinda wish that Prin was given a better reason for what he did but it is what it is). I looked forward to every episode as it just kept getting better and better and I really enjoyed the drama very much. This drama made me feel giddiness, happiness, annoyance, anger, ALL THE EMOTIONS. I found that there was nothing too extreme in this drama to the point where it was unrealistic and the story was pretty straightforward and not everywhere like some other dramas. The characters actions, though sometimes infuriating, was for the most part realistic and human. There were no filler scenes and every scene made sense and was needed for the plot of the drama and I never got bored while watching it. Overall, the story worked very well, had a satisfying ending which was not rushed, and gave me an enjoyable drama to watch.

Side note: However, something that really didn't sit right with me was the reasoning behind why Mitra's father forgave Prin on what he did to Mitra. He was dead set on not forgiving Prin for what he had done, but then when he figured out that he could use Prin against Sirimantra, he was so quick to forgive and make a deal with Prin. Like sir?? He literally assaulted your daughter and THAT is the reason why you forgave him and gave him a chance? He was more mad that Prin was Chatchai's son than he was that Prin assaulted Mitra. Yes, Prin did redeem himself throughout the series, but damn the reasoning of Mitra's father in forgiving him was selfish and hypocritical.

ACTING: The acting was superb! I did not find that there was anyone in the cast that made me cringe with their acting.

Mook as Mitra: Can I just say Mook is seriously so BEAUTIFUL! She looks like a doll come to life and she acts so well too! She conveys emotions so naturally and cries effortlessly. I don't find her to just be eye candy that cannot act well because she is actually a very phenomenal actress! Her acting was very convincing and did not look forced or cringe at all. She played Mitra very very well.

Kem as Prin: Kem’s acting was very good as well. I saw someone say that he was like a robot, but for me I found him to have done a pretty good job playing Prin. He conveyed emotions very well and overall I thought he did a great job as Prin!

Gookgiik as Pam: Oh how I HATED Pam. Gookgiik acted so well that I hated her character the entire time. Pam was a brat who was always jealous, hating, and scheming and thought that she was entitled to have better then everyone else. She is also very vile for what she did to Mitra and everything she did in general.

Parn as Traitot: Parn did a great job in playing the antagonist Traitot because he was so convincing that he had me annoyed and rolling my eyes the entire time.

Amp as Gun: Amp did a great job as Gun/the second male lead. He did well in portraying the typical kind and understanding second lead. Second male leads are typically so annoying (and some instances he kind of was), but he understood pretty quickly that he could never replace Prin in Mitra’s heart and backed off, which was nice.

Nick & Rina: These little kids were so ADORABLE and they acted so well for their age. The crying scenes for both really amazed me because it looked so real. Their interactions with Mook and Kem were also very natural and so cute! Serious props to those two adorable kids!

The entire cast really delivered with the acting and made this drama so great!

COUPLES:

Prin & Mitra: This couple was TOXIC. I loved this couple so much, but they definitely started off very toxic as *SPOILER* Prin basically raped Mitra in the beginning and that's how they had the one night stand to begin with. I know I know Pam drugged Mitra and convinced Prin that Mitra was a prostitute, but Mitra still did NOT consent and Prin knew she was under the influence. Then after they met again Prin would just man-handle her, harass her, and verbally abuse her multiple times. VERY TOXIC I know. However, Prin did kind of redeem himself (he really got stabbed and shot 3 times for her) as the drama went along and he seems to have actually repented for his mistakes. It really irked me though when Prin left Mitra in the hut when she was just about to confess everything about their children to him. But I guess that was needed to make the story longer lol. Their stubbornness made my head ache so much, but I still love them. Overall, their chemistry was really good and I loved them as a couple when they finally decided to communicate, trust each other (side note: I was shocked that they didn’t make the whole Pam “drugging” Prin a big ordeal and that Mitra actually trusted Prin enough to know that he would not cheat on her which I applaud), and work past their issues.

Chen & Na: This couple was so funny and a breath of fresh air from all the drama that is Prin & Mitra. They were unexpected for me too as I did not see anything about them being a couple before I watched this drama. Chen definitely redeemed himself in my eyes because when I first watched his character I thought he was so sleezy, childish, and annoying. Overall, I loved this couple as they were so adorable and funny. Na's dad with this couple was also hilarious and I just loved them for adding comedy to this otherwise heavy drama.

Traitot & Kirtpol: I hated this couple and I would literally skip all their scenes. They were just so annoying which probably means that their acting was so good lol. They just peeved me and Kirtpol was just a spoiled gambling addict brat and Traitot was his little dog who did everything for him without seeing his true intentions. Though tragic, their ending was satisfying to me.

STYLING: I loved the styling so much, especially Mitra’s styling! She always looked so elegant and chic and I loved it!

OST: I really liked the songs they chose for this drama. It fits the drama so well and I enjoyed listening to the OSTs during the drama!

I love how this drama didn't drag anything too much. They gave enough time for each issue, but did not drag anything on for too long to where it got boring. I also thought that the business scenes weren't too much to the point where it got boring as many dramas tend to drag the business scenes, but I think in this drama they gave enough attention to the business aspect as needed without making it drag and become boring. It was an angsty drama, but I loved every bit of it and would definitely rewatch again! I was a bit hesitant to start this drama because of some reviews, but I would say watch it and judge for yourself because I ended up loving it so much!

P.S: I also love the fact that they had the producers do cameos (Khun Ying & Na's father)! I thought that was a nice touch!

P.P.S: I also really like the fact that they had another child (Prin's sperm is so STRONG LMAOOOO).

P.P.P.S: I CANNOT WAIT FOR INNOCENT LIES AND TO SEE KEM AND MOOK REPRISE THEIR ROLES AS PRIN AND MITRA!!

THE BEST E-SPORTS DRAMA!

Let me start by saying I absolutely LOVED this drama so much! I fell in love with Xu Kai and Cheng Xiao while watching this and I seriously hope that they can have another drama together again someday.

Why I loved this drama:
-The pacing of the drama was just right. Nothing was rushed or too slow.

-They incorporated the e-sports element perfectly and I really enjoyed watching ZGDX compete! They added just enough of the animations of the game during the competitions, but it wasn't too much that it was boring. This drama actually made me want to try Onmyoji Arena and now I'm slightly obsessed with gaming. Overall, the balance between the drama, romance, and e-sports was really well done.

-CHENG GE WAS LITERALLY SO PERFECT. Tall, handsome, rich, protective, AND had a good personality!? I loved him! He was also sooooo smooth with his flirting (especially in that scene where Tong Yao was saying how she's never even held his hand THEN HE HELD HER HAND). His flirting was light and smooth and not cringe at all!
Side note: his Korean dubbing was ATROCIOUS. Still love him though! LOL.

-Tong Yao was a great female lead! She may have been crushing on Cheng Ge since the beginning, but she was never overly dramatic or cringey about it. She was also very strong and not a weakling who let people step all over her. She even defended her ZGDX teammates in that one scene. Really loved her!

-Xu Kai and Cheng Xiao's chemistry was really on point. They made me so giddy so many times during this drama (esp the elevator scene, that one scene they were both sick and fell asleep on Cheng Ge's bed, and first time holding hands scene).

-The kisses were on point! They did not do the wide eyed cringey fish kisses. The kisses were actually great and showed their chemistry!

-This drama showcased just how much the internet and jealous fans can affect celebrities personal lives (which does not only apply to e-sports gamers).

-I really liked Ai Jia and Jin Yang as a second couple! They gave insight on the real experiences/problems of pro e-sports players (parents not supporting them, not having enough time for each other, jealous fans, etc.).

-I loved how the ZGDX team really became a family and how the other members really protected Tong Yao and treated her like a sister. Seriously loved them all ESPECIALLY XIAO PANG hahahaha! He always walked in at the wrong moment and was just such an adorable and hilarious character.

Overall, I LOVED this drama so much and it is probably my all time favorite e-sports/Chinese drama ever! I definitely experienced that empty post-drama depression feeling after watching it and I was OBSESSED with Xu Kai and Cheng Xiao after. Took me a couple days to get over it and move on lol. I highly recommend!

MARIO AND BAIFERN’S LONG AWAITED REUNION MOVIE

This was a fun and quirky movie with an interesting concept. It’s very futuristic in which everything can be controlled and done by AI. The AI aspect of the movie was nothing too crazy.

Dob was so adorable while being Bob and how he was figuring out how to be a human. His antics were cute and funny and his innocence was endearing.

I like how they made the robots/buildings seem like people and how Dob’s computer friends helped him with Lana and “The Hawk”.

This movie wasn’t anything crazy special or amazing and I was kind of saying “wtf am I watching” at times LOL. I also felt that the romance was lacking as most of the movie was Dob trying to figure everything out then it jumped to him getting hunted down by “The Hawk”. But if you want to see Baifern and Mario act together again I think you would enjoy this. Also, the cinematography was really good. This movie had a lot of potential especially because it’s Baifern and Mario’s reunion movie as well as it having an interesting concept, but it was just okay. Overall a solid 5 for me (only really scored that "high" because of Baifern and Mario).

P.S. The little scene of Lana’s drawer of “fun toys” LMAO.

Feel Good Comedy Lakorn

I’ll keep this review short and sweet. If you’re tired of intense lakorns this lakorn is for you! This lakorn is such a feel good drama. It’s so hilarious and had me laughing the entire time at the antics of Dao/Faidam. It had just enough drama to it that it wasn’t pure comedy and I just overall really enjoyed watching it.

-Namfah was hilarious and had me laughing the entire time I was watching, but when it came to the crying/emotional scenes she did phenomenal! You really felt her sadness and confusion. For being so young and this being her first main role/her first time being a nang’ek she did really well! It’s also a plus that she’s so pretty!

-August was a bit stiff at times with his acting, but he still did really well and he does really well with the serious boyish roles (ex. his role in U-Prince Single Lawyer was pretty similar to his role as Param). He had great chemistry with Namfah and their back and forth was really funny to watch.

-P’Oab and Pon were a really cute couple too!

-Morn/Param’s mother was so stingy it was embarrassing, but I loved how even though it’s her personality to be so stingy she still cared for Faidam a lot and even gave her money when Faidam’s grandma was “sick” as well as told her that she will pick her up if ever she got lost even though that would also be technically spending more money.

-I loved Dao/Faidam’s friends! Wat and Taew were always so freaking funny and were always there for Dao/Faidam. I loved them! Especially Wat just going with every idea and gimmick Dao has and also helping her realize that she loves Param.

-Rika was a pretty good antagonist. She was annoying and everything an antagonist should be, but it wasn’t overboard which fit this lakorn well.

Overall, I really enjoyed this drama and it was a surprise to me just how much I liked it. Would really recommend for those who are looking for a comedy lakorn!

P.S. Can we discuss the dad casually cheating in episode 19 (and a couple times after that) and Oab just letting him? Lol that didn’t sit right with me, but overall this drama was still a solid 8/10!

Iconic Lakorn for GOOD Reason

Before anything I just want to say I really liked this lakorn and get why it’s so popular even till today 5 years later!

-I love Yaya! She is absolutely breathtakingly beautiful and she acts amazing! One of the best nang’eks for sure! She has a very bubbly and bright personality, but she gave justice and nailed the very complicated role of Jee. She conveys emotions (ESPECIALLY HER EYES) so well and she cries so prettily too! Jee was a female lead that was done well because she was both cold and strong, but we got to see her vulnerabilities and true self. Her character was very human and what I mean by that is she’s not like some female leads that are just ice cold and toxic and other female leads that cry every 5 seconds. Her character was strong and had balance and was overall well done. (Side note: the way Jee didn’t immediately give in to Sathit in the end was nice. It was very consistent with her character.)

-Mark Prin is just so freaking handsome and he always does so well in the hate to love roles. His acting was very on point and his micro-expressions are always great. Sathit was also a very well done character like Jee. His character had balance in where he does good and is sincere, but is sometimes overtaken by anger and resentment. His character was also very human and compared to other hate to love male leads wasn’t overly toxic.

-Mark and Yaya had such great chemistry! I love them as a koojin! Though the kisses were angle kisses they still had great chemistry together.

-Both characters were very consistent and not changing up every 2 seconds which is very much appreciated.

-Honestly props to Mark and Yaya because the plot of Waves of Life can sometimes be too overdone or can get boring, but they totally nailed their roles and a huge part of why Waves of Life became such a success that it is. It truly has become an iconic lakorn to watch!

-I love enemies to lovers dramas but sometimes they can be very repetitive and get boring at times, but this was soooo good and I really enjoyed watching it.

-I loved P’Suki and Dao for always being there for Jee and never turning their back on her. Especially Dao even though the man she loves is crushing on Jee so hard (some friends would turn their back on their friends just for this) and chose to go away so Jee can find happiness with Jade. Also, P’Chaiyan (though him and Piak’s situation got very annoying and was so frustrating) was always there for Jee despite what other people said. Also props to Jane for still being kind in the end and letting go of Sathit and not turning into someone who would get in the way of Jee and Sathit.

-I swear Piak frustrated me to no end!! Jade too when he kept hurting and leading Dao on then shoving it in her face how much he liked Jee. But in the end they finally ended up with their respective partners.

-I love how all the antagonists got what they deserved in the end.

-I found that the flow and pacing of the story was very good, nothing was too rushed and the character development was on point. We got to unravel the characters of Jee and Sathit slowly but surely in this drama. The relationship between them also developed very naturally because of what they went through together. It wasn’t too rushed where they fell in love with each other too quickly, but it was definitely a slow burn that was just right. They also didn’t go back and forth from hate to love every 5 minutes. There was definitely some back and forth, but it was justified with the circumstances and events.

-I swear it took me so long to get through episode 15 because I was so giddy the whole time and I kept replaying scenes over and over again!!

Overall, this was a really good drama and it’s definitely worth the hype! Also, probably my favorite drama of Mark and Yaya that I have watched! Can’t wait for another MarkYaya drama in the future!

P.S I loved the ending scenes! The beach scene (I wish Jee and Sathit admitted when they first realized they loved each other) and the baby shower scene was a nice touch!

Surprisingly Good

So far this series has been a funny and entertaining watch. I was kind of disappointed when I found out Joss wasn’t in this series anymore, but Luke is actually doing a really good job playing Prab Suek. He really suits the comedy role very well. In the past 5 episodes it’s been a good comedy and has been something entertaining to watch. Grace is also so pretty! This is honestly a much lighter and comedy version of Not Me with the whole twin switch thing lol. It’s also teaching me more about drag which is interesting to watch. Also features a lot of LGBTQ+ in the cast which is nice. So far so good!

Great Lakorn Between Spoiled Brat Female Lead and Angel Male Lead

I want to start off this review by saying that this drama was really enjoyable for me and everyone seriously needs a Lucky in their life.

NOW ONTO THE REVIEW :)

-The chemistry between the main couple was good and Taew and James really delivered with the acting. I especially loved Taew’s crying scenes because she pulled them off effortlessly. Taew and James really did great jobs playing Nok and Nai and gave the characters justice.

-Nok was a BRAT and Nai was seriously an angel. In the end, they balanced each other out.

-Nok was so frustrating many times, but I sympathized with her. There really are people out there who think and feel the way Nok did in the situations she was placed in which makes her character more human. Doesn’t excuse her behavior at times, but deep down Nok was a good person who just could not healthily cope with the rapid changes that came in her life.

-Nai was just AMAZING and I doubt there is someone who is actually like Nai in real life LOL. Nai never took advantage of Nok and always respected her which is actually pretty rare in many dramas as most of the time the male leads are cavemen who manhandle the female lead the entire series. Also, this man has received the worst insults in the whole entire world, but still continues to be so freaking kind and understanding. Nai’s patience for Nok is seriously astounding. I quickly learned to never doubt Nai and his actions because seriously this man could do no wrong and was always there for EVERYONE. I also especially loved his relationship with Nok’s parents because they genuinely trusted and treated Nai like their son. I am so happy that Nai got the happy ending he deserved because he deserves it ALL.

-I loved how Nok’s parents coparented so healthily. They still had a great friendship and actually gave each other valuable advice in order to find happiness. Their banter was always so funny and endearing. (Side note: I especially loved Nok’s mom and found she was a bit different from most drama mothers. She was genuinely kind, understanding, and didn’t let anyone or anything get to her. She protected those she loved and was just an overall great supporting character in this drama.)

-Nok and her mom may scheme and can be brats at times, but they are actually good people. They scheme only against those who have bad intentions (like Khae and Penny), but are kind and forgiving to those they love like Aunt Phai. Nok’s mom also treats Nai like her real son and even sides with him when she knows that Nok is doing something wrong.

-I loved the comedy that the office workers (Sudjai, Prao, and Jomyuth) brought to this drama. I was always laughing at these three.

-I loved how they brought awareness to recycling efforts and waste and tied it into this drama. I actually learned a bit about recycling while watching, which I didn't really expect hahaha. (Side note: The part when Nai was showing that trash has value and how Nok sees him as trash, but he has value was a great way to tie in the recycling business into their relationship even though I do not at all think that Nai is trash.)

-I love the part where they were in the cat cafe and how Nai was saying the charm of cats were they were hard to please etc. and on the other hand how Nok liked dogs because they are easy to understand and come with their tails wagging. Nai is just like the dog and Nok is just like the cat. That comparison was SOOOO CUTEEEE.

-I love the fact that they humanized the antagonists/villains in the end and settled everything (well except for that sleezy Wutha guy he got what he deserves).

-I seriously hated the part where the grandma praised Wutha for “taking responsibility” and “apologizing” for almost raping her granddaughter, but when Nai pretended it was him to save Nok from marrying Wutha the grandma slapped and beat him. I found that to be so disgusting and hypocritical on the grandma’s part. She would seriously accept someone who is rich doing that to her granddaughter, but if it was Nai she lost it. It was so frustrating, but I’m happy she changed in the end.

-For the kisses: it was so bad I wanna give you a 0 but that's not possible so I give you a 1 LOL. Their first kiss in the first episode and the kiss in the elevator was alright, but the other ones were VERY awkward lol, but I still love them lots! Hahahaha.

-I took off one star because I seriously hated the scenes with Khae, Penny, Wongwet, and Wutha. They were all annoying in my opinion and I just wanted to focus more on the main couple so I ended up skipping most of their scenes which I found to not be all that important anyways.

-Also took off another star because I wasn’t a fan of the age gap romance between her parents and their new significant others. Just not a fan of those types of relationships in a series overall.

-Overall, I really liked this series and I would say for everyone to try it out and give it a chance as it’s a genuinely good lakorn! Will definitely be rewatching my favorite scenes, especially the ones of Nai, Nok, and Non! Such a cute family!
