I kinda see where they were going with the poster, but the execution is not great. If you've seen the original you'll get the reference to the snow globe. I am a fan of the original drama. Yes, it's outdated and way over-the-top, but it has a particular charm that I digged. The biggest draw for that drama was the fantastic chemistry between the leads, so I hope in that regard, this drama can atleast get that right.
I enjoyed this for a good portion of the story until about the 3/4 mark and then, for me, it slowed significantly and took a weird turn that I still (days later) can't wrap my head around. Despite my grievances with the later episodes, there were great performances from our two leads, Kido Ma and Zhou Yi Ran. I'd recommend less for the story and more for the two main performances.
There seems to be a lot of unhealthy stalking in this drama from numerous characters ranging from the main to the supporting ones. I get that for some of the characters we're supposed to find this endearing or cute, but it honestly comes across a bit toxic. Characters showing up in places for their own purposes, or inserting themselves in situations that are completely uncalled for, whether it has to do with other characters schooling or personal interests.
