Welp. I highly doubt this drama will air anytime soon, if at all. Double whammy in the past week with Xu Kai Cheng's cheating scandal and now Wang Dong's domestic violence video.
The Korean version of this never caught my attention, but surprisingly the trailer for this piqued my interest. But then again I hate love triangles and this drama is heavily love triangle centered. Not sure I'll watch it but the trailer wasn't bad.
So from the comments this drama still hasn't picked up or improved since the 1st episode? I was looking forward to this, but I think this production may have made a mistake. All the characters to me seem as if they are supposed to resemble the previous 5 ladies, but what's the point in that? Why not give people new characters instead of rehashing old characters and doing it poorly?
Do keep going, the kids finish at ep 9, I do find parts of 11 to 14 slow though since it's getting used to adult…
I might pick it up again, but I'm side-eyeing the 34 episode count. After already feeling like it's dragging a bit I wonder if this drama has enough meat to not feel as if it's chasing it's tail?
After an intriguing start I think I'm tapping out at episode 8. This is a well acted and directed show, however it has dragged the past few episodes for me to where the intrigue I initially felt has dwindled.
Only watched the 1st episode, but this new season lacks the charm of the first 2 seasons. As I was watching everything felt too stylized to me. Not to mention the awkward editing. On initial viewing the 2 characters I liked the most were Ah Chu and Zhu Zhe.
What an intriguing first episode! The acting is good so far and I'm loving the set up of the characters. Already loving Ji Jiang and seeing as he's the 2nd male lead I suppose I shouldn't get too invested in the relationship between him and Lin Zhao Xi lol. As the episode went on the female lead started looking like a Song Zu Er x Qiao Xin mixture to me. Pretty.
Maybe I just need time to settle in because I was really looking forward to this drama, but man the 1st episode was rough for me. I thought the first 15 minutes or so were the best with the FL, her mom, and Bai Shu's character. Everything after that, not so much. I can tell this is definitely gonna be a mood dependent drama. Perhaps I need to watch an episode of something really dark and then follow it up with an episode of this.
