Haha I feel the director must think the same way because very rarely do you see the ML and the FL in the same frame together tbh. Most of the scenes comprise of the camera focusing on one of the actors and then focusing on the other. In a way artificially creating chemistry. At least this is what I've observed while watching lol

I'm all for the FL being involved in the mystery plot, but as far as the romance, CYQ and HYT lack chemistry for me. I feel mostly nothing when they're together lol.
ML totally overstepped his bounds by buying that child candy when his mother said no not because she couldn't afford it but because she's worried about cavities.
Also, who has a bag and rope handy just in-case an impromptu kidnapping is needed? Lol like Chi Yu was missing because he was assumed murdered not because he went off to play hooky.
Watched first 6 episodes in 1 day so clearly this show is easily watchable, but there's not much to it, at least yet. The biggest issue I have so far is that 6 episodes in and neither FL or ML have very discernible personalities. I don't find that there's anything inherently wrong with either character tho. Chemistry overall is lackluster, although it did improve in episode 4 only to fizzle out in episode 5 and 6. As far as performances, I don't think either CYQ or HYT is performing better or worse than the other tbh...
Chemistry improved starting in episode 4. I just couldn't feel much chemistry of any kind, antagonistic or otherwise, in the 1st 3 episodes. I must say, Yuqi performs much better when she's not playing the bubbly type of character. She had some nice moments in episode 4.

Also, I'm pretty sure both ml and fl characters are in a coma and their dream waves intercepted or something. The ml got hit in the head with a bat after receiving the acting role of Qin Yu. The fl was on a bus that I'm pretty sure got in a wreck while carrying a newspaper with the old actor Qin Yu featured in an article. They're probably both in the same hospital.

Are you asking who the actor is or which character he plays? The actor has been in many dramas, 'Return the World to You (where I personally saw him), WOH, You Are My Glory, The Blue Whisper, Hello the Sharpshooter, etc.
This looks cute. Hopefully Yuqi fares better here than in 'Memory of an Encaustic Tile' where I found her insufferable. From the trailer she looks fine. HYT has had bad luck with dramas and roles in the past few years where it's hard to gage his acting range. I'm not sure this drama is gonna change that, but atleast this drama looks watchable lol
Really interested in who the screenwriter is for this drama. Beijing Radio and Television Bureau has shortlisted this drama as a finalist (China Youth Dream) so hopefully this means good things for this production. It has sci-fi elements with themes focused on beauty, kindness and improvement.
I also don't think Qin Yu and Chi Yu are the same people reincarnated. I think they are doppelgangers.
