I didn't enjoy this drama. It is overflowing with inconsistency of both the characters and plot. There were scenes that were good but also parts that were so boring that I had no other choice but to skip. The ending was flat and incomplete. All in all, I guess it was okay but I don't think I can recommend it.
I'm kinda surprised no one said that the ending did not meet the exceptions. To me, it was mediocre. I couldn't…
Actually, now that you mention it, the thing with the bad guy also made me angry. I wanted him to be punished by the law for all his evil deeds, but of course they chose an easy way out. Committing suicide is an easy punishment for him.
I'm kinda surprised no one said that the ending did not meet the exceptions. To me, it was mediocre. I couldn't understand what is the relationship between the OTP. It remained unclear. Also, I'm disappointed they killed the 2nd male lead. I mean, is it some kind of a rule that the 2nd lead must always die in these kind of dramas? I've seen it too many times before. Also, I couldn't see the reason why 2nd female suddenly changed her mind and decided to leave after she was so obsessed with him. It's like she was standing in the way and the writer decided to get rid of her very conveniently.
Has anyone read the webcomic and can give me spoilers? Before I start watching, I want to know what I'm getting myself into. Don't forget to mark spoiler.
Gu Man novels are refreshing and romantic. What I like most about the dramas is that they stay faithful to the novels. After I've seen all those 3 dramas, I also think they are perfectly acted and directed. The novels as well as the dramas, should get much more love. Anyone who's searching for beautiful romance dramas, must watch all 3 of them.
The 2nd lead, the lawyer guy is so self righteous and acting overly confident when he's actually not. And to be honest, he's quite annoying. Am I the only one who feels this way?
Changmin couple (Healer) holds a special place in my heart. I also love Another Miss Oh couples and I would love to see them again. And I have to say Gong Hyo Jin has amazing chemistry with ALL her male leads. Great article, thanks for sharing!
I loved it! Usually I complain that dramas are too long and drag on and on, but this drama is too short and I feel that the ending is incomplete. A second season with all the characters continuing their story is a MUST!
Not so good, not so bad either. Just a cute and fluffy, good feel drama. I didn't have any exceptions to begin with and I wasn't disappointed with the 2nd half of the drama. I guess that's why I enjoyed it more than others. I'll recommend it anyone who would like to watch a light teenage k-drama.
I like Tae Won for Ok Nyeo more than the king. I do like the king, he cares for her and he is a good guy but he…
Well, I kinda agree and disagree with the points you made.
1) He didn't just hide his identity, but he lied to her so many times and he is misleading her. I feel that's wrong.
2) He never put in danger intentionally but the fact is that he did. And he does try to protect her but he fails every time.
3) It's wrong to use someone to gain information and power when the other party is unaware of the true intentions behind it. But I'm sure she will not be upset when she will learn he is the king.
4) And most importantly, she doesn't love the king. She loves Tae Won and he loves her back. To me, from the very beginning, they were always the real OTP especially after all that happened to them.
I like the king A LOT, but I don't feel he's the right man for Ok Nyeo. But anyway, I really like this drama. Can't wait to see what will happen next.
I like Tae Won for Ok Nyeo more than the king. I do like the king, he cares for her and he is a good guy but he is being dishonest about he is and his decisions put Ok Nyeo in danger. I also feel he is using her to gain information and power. Tae Won on the other side, although he has dark side...all he cares about is her safety and well being. He also gives her good advice, he helps her and saved her many times. It's very obvious that he loves her.
Her so-called family... they are all shallow, horrible and despicable! I hate them! On the other hand, I'm enjoying the leads (well, most of them) and I like this drama because it's light and cute.
Very insightful drama which is filled with life lessons. The well developed characters won my sympathy right from the start and made me feel everything along with them: the pain, happiness, friendship and loneliness. It was heartbreaking but also hopeful. I appreciate the scriptwriter and tvN for creating this beautiful drama. I'll remember it for a long time.
It's true there are many plot holes and unexplained things in the drama, but if you can ignore it, then I think you'll love this great and unique drama. With so many twists and turns it was never boring. It always kept at the edge of my seat. I still haven't decided what score to give it because I felt the first half was better than the second half. I need to think about it more.
