I came here to ask the same question, so how did you feel after you finished it? Is it okay for someone who loves Buffy the Vampire Slayer but who thinks Supernatural is too much?

Finally finished it, as it got better from episode 49 onwards. Not as good as the first half but watchable.

I've been stuck around episode 47 for a couple of weeks now, just don't feel like watching and can't get into it anymore. Did anyone else feel the same way after 40 first episodes? Did you get hooked back later and in what episode?

Yes she dies somewhere in the middle, though I don't no if it was painful enough :D Maybe you already saw it.

All the key events were there but I wasn't moved at all. This was just too much to fit in the movie. I recommend the drama! There is also a four episode version of the drama (called My Sunshine director's cut) which you can watch if you feel dramas in general are too slow/long.

:D Might be because I watch mostly cdramas. For a cdrama 8.1 would be good.

Thank you both! I have seen some of the dramas Joy mentioned but not all. I guess more than devotion I meant the way you can see Yehua's strong love just radiating from his face and body expressions in some scenes. It's hard to explain, but might be that nothing compares to him :)

Probably because of the last couple of episodes. It seems most if not all people agree that they were quite off, and since you go give the score right after you've seen those they have even stronger influence than if it had been a couple of stupid episodes in the middle. But 8.1 is also pretty good.

I guess you're right, as sad as it is. Well, I can always imagine he'll defect after his parents die.

About the employees though, I think they mentioned something about the man being in Switzerland and that it had been going on for a while and getting serious. So they knew at least something.

Rewatching this now, and it's even better than I remembered. Well worth the 9 I gave it. The best thing about rewatching is that now I can skip all the parts where that stupid Tang Ming is with that stupid shanshan or her sister.

Yep, it just makes no sense. I don't know if you watch Chinese dramas, but there was one where the main lead was raised in a different family, but in that she lost her memory and they specifically explained that the woman who took her did not contact the police because she had run her over and was already in trouble with law or something like that. It made at sense, this doesn't. It's a pity because I really liked this drama until the last episodes.

I completely agree. Even if there would be no police system they could have put posters with his name and photo in the park. Then the mother could have contacted them even after long time and find out where they left him. Made no sense at all.

I waited for that too, but even more I waited for Cindy to find out about her and them bonding a bit over it, or competing or whatever. Something to wrap up the storylines from the beginning.
