Thanks! I get it, but I need help trying to screen my huge "plan to watch" list :D Did you watch this and what would you say are the biggest pros or cons? I'm trying to find out if they are something I would mind or not.

Poor reviews and negative comments. However the rating is 8.3. Should I watch or not? I don't need good quality or realistic characters, but stuff needs to happen for me to keep my interest.

It's good (like quality good not a normal vertical drama) and now on iQiyi: Midsummer's Vendela.

I kept postponing watching this because of the bad reviews. Now I've finally seen it and wow it was not what I expected. It was serious, touching and more about friends and family than romance. So fellow waverers, just watch it! It's worth seeing at least once!

I plan to watch this to see ML actor as the main lead.

This sounds promising but I don't like the type of character that Miles Way usually plays, the one where he's a bit nervous and low EQ. What is the ML like in this one?

Usually 40. If you see 46 then it's the same content but shorter eps.

Just re-watched ep five with the flashbacks of child He Qixiu and cried a river again. That's some peak script writing.

I'm now on ep 5 and the ML is only sulking. In what ep will he start pursuing her? The synopsis in Viki said "After falling for an older woman, a young tennis player tries every trick in the book to win her skeptical heart." so I'm waiting for that to happen.

So is this an architect office romance drama? Nothing against them, but I want to know what I'm getting into. The trailers where all about the game part but now I feel I'm watching something else entirely.

First 4 eps were like that. From ep 5 onwards it was good.

The name change was stupid. "Secret" fits it much better than "Secret Love".

Is this more romance or more investigation/crime/work?
