I thought that he was married with a Korean actress and that someone else was married with the European one! But…
I actually didn't believe it was his at first. (The photo, not the baby!) He sees his baby for the first time, then takes an artsy black & white photo like that to share with strangers? Or commisioned a professional photographer to do so? I even spent quite some time on Google images trying to match the one used with a stock photo, but I couldn't find it. (Yeah, I have WAY too much time on my hands!) I did find that same photo used many times by websites reporting the birth, with many saying he'd released it, so maybe he did ... but in truth I'm still not totally convinced! I really, really wanted to find out it was a stock photo, then see if people still felt they could tell from it that the boy would be beautiful, just like his parents, and had a very pleasant aura.

Oh, yeah. I keep forgetting that many people don't recognise / understand British sarcasm / tongue-in-cheek comments. Sorry if you misunderstood and thought I was being serious, rather than very much agreeing that I don't see a need for so-called "news" like this. On the other hand many of the comments here, and the fact that celeb sites/magazines are so popular, suggest that a lot of people do think things like this should be reported.

OMG! If they didn't report really, really important news like this, half the world's papers, magazines and websites (including this one) would find nothing to write about. Wouldn't that be a tragedy!?
I dont mean to sound rude but netizens already started judging a newborn from his fingers shape?! Their beauty…
How can it be rude to question how a judgement is arrived at? You know that saying about not believing anything you read on the internet? It's because people like that are allowed access to it. And yeah, that probably is rude but I don't have time to care. I'm too busy worrying that these people might breed and pass on their genes. (I bet they're nearly all Pisceans.)
Hmmm. If the son ages at the same rate as his dad, he should be walking in about twenty or thirty years (by which time SJK will probably no longer look like a teenager). :-)
Woah! Some 'proper' actors have made it onto this list, not just the ex-Boy Band guys put here by their fan clubs.…
LOL, yeah. I have to admit that even I'm not immune to being drawn to watch something because a good-looking guy is in it. It's a bonus when that show turns out to be good. Two of the three people I've voted for here are amazingly good looking (Song Joong Ki and Yeo Jin Goo) which is what originally drew me to watch something they were in. Once I got past the staring and drooling stage though I realised they are also amazingly talented as well. Now I watch them because of their skill. (OK, OK, I still drool a LITTLE.)
Hmmm. "Best" and "favourite" are not the same thing. So far it looks like people are voting more according to…
Woah! Some 'proper' actors have made it onto this list, not just the ex-Boy Band guys put here by their fan clubs. Isn't there a danger an MDL voting list may become meaningful?
Edit: I've now added my own voting list: "ACTUAL Best Actor". Why not stop by and vote for people who actually ACT well, rather than just look pretty?
Hmmm. "Best" and "favourite" are not the same thing. So far it looks like people are voting more according to looks than ability. No change there then!
I was thinking the exact same thing... sometimes its really not that hard you can hate an actor and be able to…
"Acting circles" is one of those things you learn to do if you go to a 'proper' drama school. They also teach you how to be a tree, and how to walk into a strong wind that isn't actually there.
I've decided I don't like this show. It keeps making me laugh out loud for the silliest of reasons, has frequently induced tears, and refuses to let me take a break. Every time one episode finishes, I'm compelled to immediately start watching the next. There should at least be some sort of advisory warning, before you start watching, about just how addictive it is!
Edit: I've now added my own voting list: "ACTUAL Best Actor". Why not stop by and vote for people who actually ACT well, rather than just look pretty?
[For the avoidance of doubt, I mean this positively!]
