What we know and what we believe regarding the "children", from my perspective.
- Su Ji is the biological daughter of Seon Young and Jang Su. Raised by Yun Ja and Jang Su to believe that she had been abandoned by her mother who had run away.
- Woo Ri is the adopted son of Seon Young. Presumed biological son of Ma Ri. Grew up in a loving home.
- Hyun Sung is presumed to be the adopted son of Ma Ri and Jin Tae. If so, his parentage might be important to the story. Grew up in a cold, loveless home
- Na Young is the biological daughter of Seon Young, but not of Jang Su. Grew up in the shadow of Su Ji and is resentful.
- Doo Ri is the adopted daughter of Seon Young. Parentage does not appear to be important to the story. Grew up in a loving home.

If Woo Ri is Ma Ri's son who got lost, did she have to give him up at birth because she was marrying Jin Tae? Is "You lost the thing most important to me" code for "I had to give my son up for you"? If he was so important, why no attempts to find him?

Seon Young believed that Su Ji had gone overseas, which explains why she did not look for her when she recovered.

I think the orphanage will have an important role in resolving the puzzle.

He is all three, but he is a narcissist who is incapable of accepting that his property/woman is in love with someone else, who he considers to be his inferior.

From the interaction with the Sister at the orphanage, it seems that Woo Ri and Doo Ri were both adopted from there by Seon Young. The fact that Ma Ri was there intrigued me. Is there a part of her story that we do not know about?

I think that Seon Young eventually recognised Yun Ja when she saw her face. It is possible she recognised the voice but did not connect it with the person, due to disbelief or the sheer volume of other voices she has heard over the years. Having said that, the difference between the empathetic, compassionate Seon Young and the selfish, self-centred Yun Ja could not have been more starkly drawn in that. Accusing Su Ji of having an affair when she is not married and publicly said no to Hyun Sung shows Yun Ja's attitude.

I doubt it will happen, but I would love Yun Ja to come back to the restaurant with Jang Su because the resultant fireworks would be so much fun.

Like you, I thought he was the director of the hospital's planning department. I do think that it was a "do-nothing" position (invented by his parents) to give him entry into the eventual take over of the hospital.

Personally, I thought the comments by Mi Ra that she has something to do that she must do, and that Jin Tae has to stay next to her until then were significant. Perhaps we will start find out what tomorrow.

You could be correct that she has not yet recovered, but she did say that she feels more comfortable now than at any other time. The problems will arise when she discovers who her mother is.

I think that the next episode will have some important information. Also, the Napa Cabbage Angel and Radish Guru appearance, with smile when looking at the video, was a key point in the story.

I doubt that anything will break his delusion.

While some of it was to drive Hyun Sung away, I do not think it was just that. Her reaction to the video was to smile, which strongly suggests something more is going on.

Interesting. With the interaction between Jin Tae and Ma Ri, plus the clear growing connection between the OTP, I think that the next 2 or 3 episodes will be providing more background information.

I think you are correct about the registry problem, if that determines whether people can marry or not. One solution would be to not add Su Ji to the registry. The other option would be for Woo Ri to be removed from it. Regardless, this is another problem that will play out between now and September.

Okay, we have slogged through some less than great scenes but all is forgiven with the arrival of Napa Cabbage Angel and Radish Guru. 😂

Now I understand. I do believe Woo Ri's relationship is going to cause problems for a while, especially if Su Ji discovers her relationship with Seon Young first. The back story for Woo Ri has to be identified eventually.

Obviously, Su Ji cannot do any dish washing except for Hyun Sung. 😉

I agree that it does seem to be a major writing flaw in that Su Ji is unable to "diagnose" Hyun Sung. However, at this moment in time, she is in psychological distress, so it is not implausible that her rational, psychiatrist abilities are not functioning very well. As this is a personal and emotional situation, again it is not implausible that she is not seeing things straight.

Also, as she is the object of Hyun Sung's obsession, there is zero chance of him accepting any sort of "treatment" from her. He does not see her as a psychiatrist or as an individual; she is merely his to own and control.

She has taken the step of removing herself from the environment and people who have caused the problem. She is trying to right her ship and not act like a psychiatrist trying solve other people's problems.

I just watched episode 45 and once again Hyun Sung proves how delusional he is. First, after Su Ji tells him that it is over between them, he says "We 're not over yet" and then tries to drag her away without her stuff. Then, in his office, he says "Su Ji is mine", like she is some sort of possession. When Woo Ri says that he thought the relationship was over, Hyun Sung's reaction was "who says it's over?", again treating Su Ji like a possession with no rights or free will.

I loved the hypocrisy of him telling his mother to respect his privacy and to not cross the line, when he is trampling all over Su Ji's.

Some serious psychological issues.

That is an interesting suggestion. Regardless, there is at least one scandal within that family which will cause problems.
