Honestly, disappointed

I've been a fan of CBAW manhwa for years now and when I learnt a live action would be made, I was exited. Still had my concerns because I know a-lot of live actions don't go as planned and are often not made well due to low budget. However, I still had my expectations because of how well written the book was (in my opinion) and thought this show would do well since they had such good material to be inspired by.

I have a hard time believing those who have not read the book first would understand what was happening in this show, so much plot was missing and random time skips between high-school, college, then at the end for the proposal.
I understand that remakes won't closely follow the book and things will be different. There is 4/5 seasons of the manhwa being crammed into 8 short episodes, and with the slow dialog, scenes lasting too long, and just plain awkward moments, theres a-lot of time wasted when important information could be protruded.
Instead of trying to pack all the chapters into this short time-span, I wish only the high-school chapters were acted out, maybe a glimpse of college, allowing for a second season if things went well. Giving time to have more in each episode and full stories rather than trying to get by everything quickly and lacking plot.

I can't judge the acting of the main characters since i've never seen any other of their works but it's clear that they needed more chemistry with each-other to portray this love they're meant to have. I wish actors that are actually lgbt would be casted for shows like this, it would add so much.

I hated the sound design from the first two minutes of the first episode. I get the feeling they were over-exaggerating the everyday sounds to include the written in sound effects of the manhwa, it was un-needed, I did not like it at all, and just made the scenes feel so fabricated.

Though I did find a small few scenes sweet and enjoyable, the awkwardness and plot skipping outweighed the replay-able moments. I have a-lot more I could go into detail about but I'll restrain.

In conclusion, I wish they did not try to portray moments from all the big scenes in the chapters and took the time to simply focus on the beginning plot of the first 1-2 seasons of the manhwa.

An interesting murder mystery with good /healthy/ main couple

A big recommendation from me. I didn't start this drama for years cause I thought it was something completely different, This show was just what I needed. It had the fun thrills and mysterious air to it along with the not over-the-top gay representation with a decently healthy relationship. I haven't seen a couple that trusts each other this much in a sad long while. Manner of Death was great and I'll absolutely watch it again. Give it a shot and check for my comment for a small spoil/non-spoiler for further convincing :)

A nice, short, no heavy drama, fluffy story.

It was enjoyable and well done. It defiantly needed more time for the story to flow naturally rather than randomly speed up to fit the time limit. Also, I'm unsure if it's just the copy I watched but there were random small scene cuts, maybe 10 seconds here and there that were missing.
If you have about an 1.5hrs to watch something light-hearted that also provides an easy on the eyes experience than I suggest you go for it :)

I'm gonna have to try the movie version next time, though I'm pretty sure it's not different and everything is just edited together. Great rewatch value anyways so it works out none-the-less haha

Simply put, adorable.

This was such a cute, light-hearted, short show. I found the story of a runner and pacemaker refreshing. The bl genre is so full of engineer college students, this was a breath of fresh air.
I do think that it was not brought to it's full potential because it was so short. I would love to see this in a full series of 22 episodes w/ 40 mins per and see how much more the story develops.
When I learnt about the debt collectors, I got excited to see some drama and Jin Won showing strong emotions when learning about Sang Ha's situation but we got none of that and it was pushed aside as if it were nothing big. If we had longer episodes for this I would also love to see Sang Ha working day and night to fulfill the debt collector boss' request of winning the marathon and not him just winning it out of nowhere.
Now, granted I have a horrible memory but as I'm writing this, I just watched the show in it's entirety and I can't remember anything interesting or characteristic about Jin Won other than his want/need to be faster and that he can have a bit of a temper. With Sang Ha, It's a bit opposite as we learn about his past, more or less, along with his more expanded personality.
Overall great, would have been better with more time and without rushing.
If you're the type to read spoiler comments before watching, give it a watch if you have roughly 80 minutes and want something light and cute. Will recommend, was a fun series.

Apologies if you noticed this review was a bit all over the place.

What you get with 25 minutes..

Having just watched this on youtube I can confidently say, what was the point of this?

This was in short, weird. It's an easy watch if you got a half hour to waste and want to question what you did with it.
The plot is basically swimmer can't swim because of thieving incident, let's be mad at dancer boy/friend (?). There wasn't enough plot, even with that amount of time, I feel like you could've tried a bit more and gave some information.

From what I gathered, I liked the acting, they stayed in character and seemed liked they tried with that.

Can't judge the music, I watched a copy of this where the audio was messed up.

If you want to rewatch this, go ahead, try to make sense of it for a second time.

Even though I've said things wrong with this short film, they did have some nice aesthetic shoots and a few original ideas for certain scenes. Let me know if you check it out and what your thoughts are.
