Title The Secret Night Tutor Spoiler
Honestly, I did not expect much, but I enjoyed this short drama. It had hilarious moments and the story was light and nice to watch. I did not feel much chemistry between the leads, but they were cute together. The story is not bad overall.

Thank you. I watched 'A round trip to love' way back and I did not notice that Double Helix is a remake of it. Yes, I agree with you.

I only found one special episode, but it seems to be the ending. Although I would love to see season 2 where Toru goes to college and, of course, keeps meeting with Kishi.

Also, from this special episode, Kishi does seem to like Toru as more than a student. They both kept emphasizing that they are no longer in a teacher-student relationship, and they are not friends either. So, doesn't that mean their special relationship is on its way to becoming lovers? I hope so. They are cute together, and if they continue this story, I hope Toru confesses to Kishi, as Kishi seems like he would never do so himself.

Honestly, we barely know anything about Kishi. I would like to see more of him and his side of things.

Honestly, in the beginning, I did not like this drama that much, especially Toru's exaggerated expressions and how Kishi acts, which is cheesy as well.

However, I decided to stick with this drama a little longer and warmed up to it. Yes, the exaggerated expressions still annoy me but seeing how Toru changes for the better was refreshing. It also made me laugh.

Plus, this drama has great positive messages. It's very educational, and I love the message that studying can be fun if you treat it like a story or a game. Learning should be fun. Violence is not the answer; knowledge is. There were other great messages as well.

This drama may not be considered a BL drama since we do not see kiss scenes, etc. But for me, this is a BL drama. Toru really loves and admires Kishi, to the point that he wants to become like him. He thinks about him constantly, looks forward to seeing him, keeps his promises to him, asks him for rewards, etc. He definitely loves him.

As for Kishi, we do not see his side or hear his thoughts like we do with Toru, but we subtly see that he likes Toru to the point that he wants to keep being by his side. Kishi is the type to keep things professional, but with Toru, he crossed that line more than once. Plus, Kishi is wearing the earring that Toru gave him! So, for me, Kishi sees him as more than a student, even if he doesn't realise it himself.

I'm not that much of a fan of student-teacher relationships, but in this case, I really warmed up to these two, and I'm cheering them on. They are really cute together. ^_^ I'm off to watch the spin-off!

Title Money Is Coming Spoiler
The story was not original or new, but it was not bad overall. It did drag in some parts, and in some parts, it was obvious what was going to happen, but I did enjoy it. After all, each episode was quite short, and the story was fast paced, especially towards the end.

As for the cast and characters, everyone did a good job. Their acting was good.

As for the leads, Xiao Xing Heng and Ning Chu Xi, they did not have the most sizzling chemistry, but they were cute together—not bad. I was actually shipping Xiao Xing Heng's bodyguard and Xiao Xing Heng's uncle together. I could sense some chemistry. ;D

What impressed me the most was the production. The costumes were beautiful, and the sets were exceptional. They were really pretty, especially the rooms and the gardens. For me, they were the best sets I have ever seen.

Honestly, this drama was not the best I have ever seen, but it was not bad overall.

Title Double Helix Spoiler
Maybe I had high expectations, but I did not like the story that much. It was pure torture watching the relationship between Xiao Chen and Lu Feng. They get together, break up again, have misunderstandings, make each other jealous, and have no communication at all.

I have nothing against the actors. Their acting was great, they had great chemistry, and they were cute together.

However, I did not like their relationship in the story at all. The story started great but went downhill really fast. It took me days to finish this drama when I could have easily binge-watched it. But I couldn't watch many episodes at once; it was too tense and too much for me.

Thank heavens it ended on a happy note, and Lu Feng got treated. His obsession with Xiao Chen was too much.

As for the second lead couple, honestly, I wasn't that impressed and mostly ignored them. Anyway, not bad overall. Whether I recommend this drama, I don't know. It's not for everyone, but if you love toxic relationships and drama, maybe you'll like it.

Honestly, I did not expect much, but I did enjoy this drama ^_^ It's not perfect and had some draggy moments, like the competition with the Ming envoy, but overall, I did enjoy it.

I enjoyed the story, cast, characters, acting (everyone did a good job!), fighting scenes, the time travel story (my favourite), the comedy, and the production overall.

As for the female lead, I'm not a fan of Yoona's acting, and her crying scenes were unconvincing, but she wasn't bad here. Comedy roles do suit her. As for the male lead, considering he was the youngest among most of the main cast, he really did well. His acting was really good, and we see his character evolve for the better.

The focus of this drama was on food. Although I'm not that much of a fan of food dramas, it was interesting to see Korean food and how Yeon Ji Yeong (Yoona) fused old and modern cuisine together. I did enjoy it, but it did get draggy at times, as I mentioned above.

As for the leads together, they were cute, but I did not feel much chemistry between them. They did get a happy ending in the present, and I enjoyed seeing that. However, I was more excited to see her cooking team from the past appear together in the present. I really loved the cooking team; they were awesome.

I wish they could have shown us how the King ended up in modern times. Leaving it as a secret does not make any sense to me. But whatever, I enjoyed this drama overall.

Honestly, I didn't expect much, but I ended up enjoying it :) I liked the leads; they were cute and adorable together.

Yes, Han Tuo has toxic traits and is obsessed with Jun Xi, but since Jun Xi reciprocated his feelings and genuinely loved him in the end, it all worked out. I also liked the friendships and the family dynamics. Overall, it was a cute and pleasant story. Plus, it's short, so it's a quick watch.

Title 4Minutes Spoiler
It took me 2 years to watch this drama, and I'm glad I finally did. I thought I would not like it, but I loved it!

Apart from the NC scenes, which were done well and got me blushing, I mostly loved and enjoyed the story. It was interesting and original! Now I get the whole ‘4 Minutes’ storyline.

Also, the acting was great, the camera work was amazing, the use of dark and light was incredible, and the production overall was great as well!

I'm sad about the deaths of certain characters (like Korn, Tonkla, Tyme's grandma, Dome, and Nam). They did not deserve to die at all. The biggest sadness is that you think they had lived, but that was only in the 4-minute vision of Great or Tyme. In reality, they still died.

The biggest villains in this story were Great's parents. Yes, there were others (like Title and that guy who worked together with Great's parents—I forgot his name), but those two deserve some type of bad karma. They had no remorse at all for what they had done. They left their children to die, and literally one of them did.

Definitely worth watching this drama. I'm kicking myself for not watching it earlier, but I'm glad I finally did!

Title My Stand-In Spoiler
Finally watched this drama after delaying it for 2 years! And I'm glad I finally did watch it ^_^ I enjoyed the story; it was really interesting.

I also liked the production, music, acting, action scenes, cast, and characters. I especially loved the leads together as well. Although I hated Ming's character and would not have forgiven him for what he did to Joe, Joe did love him after all and forgave him. The heart wants what it wants, and we do see Ming change for the better. Best of all, we see a happy ending, especially for Joe. He deserves it after all he went through.

What I really enjoyed seeing was how well it was done when we see the 2nd Joe's physical appearance in reflections, and then we see the 1st Joe again. We, the viewers, see the 1st Joe's soul, and then in mirrors, reflections, posters, and from another person's view, we see the 2nd Joe's physical appearance. For me, it was well done and served as a reminder that the 1st Joe is in the body of the 2nd Joe. Details like this make a drama more enjoyable to watch ^_^

This drama is not perfect. Joe's and Ming's relationship was not easy to watch, especially with Ming being so obsessed and toxic towards Joe. But I did enjoy it, as the lead actors had very good chemistry and their acting was great as well. Plus, it had a happy ending, so all the anguish and pain we saw throughout the drama ultimately turned out for the better.

I did not expect much and decided to watch this because I loved the actors together in Splash Splash Heart, but I ended up loving this short drama. For a one-hour drama, it tackled realistic issues. I wish it had been a bit longer; it was too brief. I loved the cat; it was so cute! I'm glad the leads decided to open up and got back together ^_^

Hey ! How have you been? Finally met you again in a drama comment. Just saw this and I enjoyed it very much too!
Me too! I love One Piece in any version! :D

For Bridergton, I did read the books and they really changed the storyline. But I'm enjoying the series as well. Honestly, I decided to take the books and the series as seperate.

But I do understand you. I hate it when my favourite books get adapted into live-action series or movies and they totally change the story. In the case of Bridgerton, it did not affect me that much.

Thank you for the recommendations, I'll check them out! ^_^

Yes I agree, I can't find anything good to watch. These series you mentioned look interesting, I'll check them out.

I recently watched Sweet Tooth, the Sandman, One Piece Live action S2 and Bridgerton S4. I'm watching lots of vertical dramas and I'm into audiobooks lately as well. Everything apart from asian dramas lol.

I did not expect much, but I really enjoyed it! The story was quite interesting and got me hooked. It's been some time since I last got into a story.

Yes, the story is not perfect; it has lots of flashbacks, repetition of the plot, and the ending is questionable, etc. But considering the drama is not that long per episode, and the story was aimed at a happy ending, I found it good.

Honestly, Jin Zhu and Lou Si Yi deserved it after all they went through, even if it's not explained properly. Let's just accept that Lou Si Yi “drew” himself in time for the leads to reunite years later, after the consciousness of the author died.

Also, I loved the leads together; they were cute and had good chemistry <3 I liked the cast, characters, acting, costumes, music, and the production. Honestly, I recommend this drama. It's an enjoyable, fast watch ^_^
