I’m actually scared too along with the rest of his fan base on Weibo. The drama is doing lovely but it’s not without fans being upset with how Neo character has been written. I can’t keep quiet on it because it’s like you said 10 episodes left and this drama will end. With no real character development for our guy only a love simp slave for the female lead. This drama wasn’t on my to watch list even with Neo Becuase anything with Yu Zheng I try so hard to avoid but omg I wanted desperately to support him and so here I am. I even became a fan of Nazha but dang this just seems to be the Rong family drama and the men / plot is secondary. I’m truly hoping for a good ending.

Yes I agree. He’s a freaking Duke! that’s royalty enough in some ways an yet the man is literally humbling himself like a stepping stool. He has options more than the girl we saw. I’m sure if they wanted to add the usual three girls in love with him troupe. Then we might get some reaction. But it looks like in later trailers he’s running outta the palace too her. So who knows probably they broke up. I wished he didn’t have to married into her family and lose his duke hertiage. But I’m sure that’s likely going to happened. This drama spends too much time on secondary characters, Rong family, and even RSB. Which we can tell why it’s doing that because of the director Yu Zheng. But this isn’t just about the Rong family this story is about LJL and yet we barely is getting anything. Some netizens are freaking pissed off and actually wished his other drama hurried up an air.

Gotta say I’m with everyone else who’s finding this boring and not moving forward. I get this is a slow burn romance drama but even by now we should’ve had some kind of romance shown. RSB so far is still cold and icy at times with LjL. She might give him a smile and glance but that’s it. She mostly pulls her hand away and etc. While he’s running after her like a lap dog. I hope once capitol arc comes the second love interest comes in and makes her realize “You’re not the only option he has.” Even if he doesn’t feel anything for the girl. Still I want her to feel how she’s made him feel. The guy is literally putting his career on the line defending her family. At this point he’s like a freaking rentor for the Rong family. Someone they pulled out when backed in a corner. This role is good for Neo and I was living for his dark edgy personality in the beginning but now he’s just simping all over the place. With no real payback. Others might argue with me and say “She does love him, but she’s dealing with a lot and this is a slow burn romance drama.” that is beside the point. She’s not the only one dealing with a lot. LjL is also. Don’t get me wrong I don’t hate RSB but I do hate how she’s being written in these episodes. Like not realizing how good she has it with LjL and his affections. I truly hope the plot moves away from the Rong family sooner than later. Becauase as of now it’s at a stale mate. With the same “He’s betraying Rong family. He has a secret motive / identity. This sister is evil or this sister isn’t truly evil. This person has it out for the Rong family” and so on and so on. The plot isn’t moving forward from all the repetitive schemes etc. I’m truly hoping this changes with this weeks episodes. Also this drama ends this week.

I agree. The reason why I gave this drama a chance was because of Neo and other actors. Yet you see nothing but small tiny nods and smiles from RSB. They had more of a romance feel when he was a stable boy. But now you only get nothing but glances. Only Ljl is putting out all the flirtatious stuff. I’m also tired of the Rong tea family drama. I really wanted to know more about LjL and it’s like we will get that in the latter half of the drama right before it ends. I won’t dropped it but once the drama ends my rating my change.

I can’t wait for ep.27 saw the trailer looks like another good one but damn I guess they truly mean slow burn romance. I don’t mind slow burn but hell this is literally slow burn. I need a passionate kiss now 😭😭

I’m aware of that I’m saying I knew he wasn’t good from literally day one. You could tell his character just from then. Same with Mr. Yan and the rest. I’m happy I didn’t believe that stick of he’s super good and sweet. I’m excited to see what’s next.

And the plot thickens I knew Mr.Bai wasn’t what he seems an I am so glad he’s putting blind but not know more sister in her place. But why do I feel like he’s a prince or a powerful official as well? omg this is going to haunt me.

Let’s not call it appearance change because she clearly looks the freaking same. I’m talking about her weight and I know it’s due to pressure to be slim. I also knows it’s not just that but main focus is Becuase she’s been filming non stop. So I just want to be clear on this as I don’t like the word appearance. it’s implying she’s had work done which she hasn’t.

I hope this aired next month would be nice.
