I love your narrative! Saturday's and Sundays are currently my official day of "don't bother me, it's a new episode" and the rest of the week is obsessive trolling on this and other sites that list comments about "Mr. Queen". I've never been this drawn into a drama.

I'm hanging in there because I normally like the actress. But, those first episodes are painful. Thanks for the heads up.

I have to fast forward a lot. I want to hit the highlights but the ambivalence of each husband towards their wives is a very real scenario. My emotions can't handle it.

Someone without kid(s) doesn't understand the realism of a situation. From my personal experience, the mom spends 8 - 12 hours at work, picks the child up from daycare, goes home to clean the house, cook dinner, help with homework. Before a child, I had an opinion on lots of stuff. After motherhood? I'm the last person to throw shade at someone's appearance.

I feel so much for the wife in this situation because the in-law support is gone as soon as they find out there is a grandchild on the way. I was in a marriage with a cheating spouse, so this drama hits a raw nerve like crazy. Well written and realistic.

That's super crazy because I was also thinking of MingLan when I replied to your comment. I cannot imagine, in a palace where you watched your mother get hunted and killed, that the FL would stomp her feet because she wasn't allowed to reveal who she was to her "friend". Any well written character would lose all naïve innocence at the moment her mother died. I'll probably skip to episode 10 to start watching again.

Agreed. Just because someone is young does not make them naïve and dumb. They should have handled her youthful mannerisms a lot better.
