Palliative care is very important in terminal diseases like cancer . These patients are in so much pain and discomfort. Palliative care alleviates some of this so the patients can live out their lives comfortably . And yes they use a lot of these alternative treatment methods i western medicine practices for this because they actually work very well. This should not be trivialized at all
