That is true - it is because of the way he thinks through things. It is not for greater good - but for selfish thoughts and desires. He will always be weak and kind of indecisive

Bai Lu is the best at playing these endearing flawed characters!

Chong Zhao is a self serving, self righteous idiot. He was wrong to hide the fact that he was an eternal from her plus not only did he not have a solution to the problem but he was also obstructing her from finding one with all his self righteous crap about demons. I guess he just wanted to be the guy who ‘protected her’ . He never tried to understand her even though they grew up together . Another character that just wants to possess /imprison her. I hope they are not on the same side in the future. Not worth it. It will always be about what he wants for her and not what she wants

Please watch and judge for yourself. I really liked all of it

Bai Lu is amazing as usual - love her character- smart, witty, stubborn, brave and again ‘not a good girl’ - more of the badass type LOL! She really makes you get into the story in an effortless manner! Again I think she will bring out the best in Ao Ruipeng as she does in all her costars.

The music is beautiful- the beginning credits song especially!

Wow! This is promising - the first episodes are great! That Chong Zhao- ugh another righteous twit! Hate those ! Such a fast paced drama! Hooked me on the first episode itself.

I am not going to get into politics or definitions here. All I am trying to say here is that money does rule across the board no matter how you look at it. And yes money does play role in communism too.

I would not call this ‘sci-fi’ because we are already very ahead with artificial organs. This is a reality in the near future. I guess it trended towards sci fi when the superpowers came in.

The story of Gilgamesh, where the snake ate the immortality herb, is a great analogy for this story

Great drama! Very smartly done. The questions they are addressing are very real and important to the present state of science and medicine, the advancements and the ethical questions associated with them
