No career is more important than one’s health or life . They should be separated from each other.

This is what happens when artists just become money making commodities for these companies. Especially when human rights and employee rights take a back seat . And some industries and countries are way worse than others . I do find this editorial a little biased towards the industry rather than the artists . Even the term ‘escape’ and the context it is used in is very biased . Do these people have any legal rights? Because with all her health issues that are listed here how is she going to fulfil that ‘slave contract’?

lol- I cracked up when he said he missed ‘406’. This drama was a great ride . A solid 9.5 for me! Loved the main leads- they were the soul of this drama!

I actually was not surprised that he disappeared after everything. Something like this can have a huge impact on your mental state. At the end of the day they were all people associated with his life and his so called ‘family’ . So him leaving that way without saying a word is not out of the norm. He pretty much lost everything and had to start from scratch. And he would need time to find himself again- given he was living without an identity . These are not trivial issues. Is it surprising that he ended up in the war zone? Not at all- given that he had worked there as a war correspondent and his background. Was I surprised the FL went there and did I get annoyed by this reckless behavior? NO BECAUSE THAT IS HOW THIS COUPLE HAS BEEN FROM THE BEGINNING. This is a a roller coaster thriller and that is what you should see it as. So the final episode was not out of place.

Exactly my point . Everyone is a mix. Given what he went through when he was young and staying with a family that was not his - it was actually a miracle he turned out as great as he was. Both ML and FL were damaged people because of what their families did to them. So we can’t expect them to be happy go lucky people. At least they fought for what they wanted

I dropped the drama since I could not stand the nonsense anymore . Left at ep 28. This drama is so mediocre

I think I have to go back for a rewatch of Lighter and Princess. That snow sequence was beautiful!! And very memorable

Exactly! This drama delves into many of the underlying social issues. Yes the characters and scenarios were extreme but they were trying to show us what society was becoming.

Yes that Cantonese version is fantastic. I feel like it was hands down one of the best dramas of 2024

That is why See her Agsin was so good - just 18 episodes and totally worth it - so fast paced. You might want to check that one out if you want to cleanse yourself from this mess. That is what I am doing after dropping this

The woman was an eccentric basket case. And yes very realistic. We all have her our biases and attitudes towards things. Same goes to the ML. But think they both had their endearing qualities as well and they suited was other quite well given that they were pretty much the same kind of peeson

What you are saying is very sexist. 37 is not old - and you will all get there at some point. And from what I see the ML is in the 40s . So is the SML. So are you going to say that too? Or are you saying that a much younger woman 19-25 should have been cast with a 40 plus ML? which one is it? Oh and your mom must be older than that or you may have other relatives.
