You are not the only one . I am liking this pairing too and they absolutely have chemistry. And they are doing an excellent job with their roles. Yes Long Ballad is one of my favorite dramas and I loved the pairing of Dilraba and Wu Lei. And I am loving this pairing too!

Why not? I actually like how they have made this drama. And it is not just because of the actors. If anyone else had played these roles really well like these two have I would have watched them too. And I am liking the story progression so far. I also think we cannot compare Blue Whisper and this one. Having said that the storyline is much better here .

Yeah the ML is the most complex character here . I agree with that. And the FL is an emotional trainereck who is impulsive and gets easily swayed by what people say .

I actually don’t like how the ML is being treated by the FL and her friends. So what if he married her? She wanted the marriage did she not? If she was still so hung up on her ex why did she marry him. And now she is refusing to wear the wedding ring and can’t even bring herself to call him husband . Not sure why the ML is putting up with this .

Yes the did not make Duan Xu into a weakling in the Void. And it definitely is taking time for He Simu to accept her feelings for him. She protects him fiercely and he coddles her!

Agreed! I think they are showing the obstacle these two people are facing very well. I think Yan Ke is just obsessed with her power and just wants to keep her there

I know everyone wants the General back but there is not much he can do while he is still in the Void. He will be heading back soon. I think the purpose of Episode 18 was to show us how impossible their relationship is. She is realizing that he will be in danger and probably die if he stays there longer. And I think she has too many enemies and too many things to take care of. Duan Xu is also feeling a little lost and helpless - he is trying to convince himself and her but then it is not working . It’s actually good that they ar experiencing this.

Ep 18 was a very meaningful episode . It was absolutely beautiful . And Duan Xu got saved from being pushed down from the swing because of his ‘beautiful skull’ 😂😂🤣. That was hilarious.

I am really loving their relationship here . But there is definitely more to Duan Xu . There are quite a few parallels He Simu’s parents’ story and her story with Duan Xu.

Is it just Yan Ke’s obsession for He Simu driving him to kill the ML? I feel like there could be more there because the ML also has that sword .
