Well the kind these people are expecting will not happen in this drama, the story is more business and revenge focused. And people rating a good drama low for this reason is just not right. This has become a pattern on MDL. Oh and this one is not tagged romance.
Romance is not the be all and end all of stories. Just mindless romance without a solid story foundation is the worst thing to watch

Yes so far I am thoroughly loving this drama. It is very different and interesting

If people want romance they seriously need to go elsewhere. This is a solid story with many interesting, enjoyable aspects. It is not necessary that every single drama needs to just focus on romance . And rating it low for just that reason is insane .

The FL has a complicated relationship with that family given her contentious broken engagement to the brother. And they don’t seem to be the most decent /upright people either. Being chivalrous for her best friend is all fine but sometimes one should not be impulsive and take a step back. Well later she witnessed her ex fiancé kill Luo and the family coveted the entire business - just saying was it really worth it? Being naive and idealistic never pays
